This was one of the nicest places we've stayed.Roomy, cosy, very comfy beds, excellent kitchen and lounge area and super warm,loved the electric blankets. loved the bath and the beautiful grounds. we genuinely wished we'd come a day earlier and stayed two nights. highly recommended.

Perfect for large groups

Property was very roomy and 5 singles all at their own beds with plenty of outdoor and indoor living space.

Chris's Cabin is awesome. The fire is amazing. The beds are comfortable. The bath is a bonus and good pressure in shower. Sky Sport was an unexpected plus. Not pretentious. Didnt feel like you had to tiptoe around the place. Just a solid, clean, private house. Recommend.

Our family of 5 adults and 2 dogs had a wedding to attend, Chris's Cabin was ideal for us. A nice sized house that gave us all some space.

Peaceful, green space, close to town

The house is big, hidden in the trees with a nice sunny deck. It’s exceptionally quiet and there wasn’t a thing we couldn’t find in the kitchen for cooking. Thank you for letting us stay and especially for letting our four legged angel stay.

Family getaway.

This was a time for bonding. I had not seen my sister's for seven years, so we had a lovely time. The rain could not stop us. It was absolutely lovely. I love the home away from home.access was easy to all the lovely places to see..

Nice stay

Lovely host. Answered promptly, very flexible. Great breakfast ingredients for a cook up. Very cold weather but wood burner, heat pump and electric blankets kept us warm and toasty. Very pleasant stay. Thank you Kathy

Greytown was recently voted the most beautiful NZ town. We love it here with the boutique shops, great restaurants and cafes and being so close to the Greytown Rail Trail and the Tararua ranges and its hiking tracks. Greytown is a great base to visit local vineyards and other events in the Wairarapa.
