This was the perfect place for our Family vacation, Lori and Pete have a beautiful home with enough space for the whole family to relax and enjoy spending time together. The location is great and within walking distance of the beaches, shops and Nubble light house. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. I recommend Lori's place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in York Beach.

This place was amazing ! Great porches on the 1st and 2nd floors! Lots of outdoor seating for enjoying lazy vacation mornings ! Lots of space and the extras (beach stuff, washer & dryer, 2nd fridge) all came in handy. House had an interesting story and the info provided was very appreciated. Decor was unique yet functional.

Fabulous home with every amenity! The check in was seamless-kitchen was superbly stocked -the room/beds were comfy. The house was nice for a large group and the location is optimal. All beach supplies were conveniently on hand.There was nice space to play games together both inside and out. Definitely a top notch stay! Pete and Lori are lovely! Thank you both!!

Great time...Hot nights!

I would have given this an easy 5 stars, but every night was difficult for all of us, even with the windows open and fans on. That was the only slight for this wonderful house with great antiques, musical instruments, ease of access to beaches and the Nubble Lighthouse.We enjoyed the hot tub, which easily fit 2 adults and 3 older kids with plenty of space all around!The farmers porch, with several Adirondack chairs was a frequent morning landing spot for coffee enjoying the York morning air. All of us really enjoyed that area throughout the day to relax, read, or just have some lazy time away from one another.Each room had its own decorative uniqueness which made the home comfortable. Learning about the history of the home made it even more special getting to be part of it.Lastly, the distance to Short Sands was perfect for our children. They walked nearly every day to the candy shops, ice cream stands, and the arcade.

Girls weekend

We had a wonderful time. The house is spectacular and the hosts were great to deal with. This was my first time using vrbo and had lots of questions that they answered, quickly I might add, for me. If I'm in the srea again I would contact them for sure!

Celebration of Life Family Vacation

This home is a gem. Everything we could have possibly needed and more. Entertained perfectly, beds were AMAZING. We couldn’t have been happier. We appreciate the antique musical instruments and especially the tide clock. 11/10.

Wonderful stay

We had a quick getaway with my family for my mother’s 75th. The house was so cozy and unique. We made so many memories this week and so grateful to the wonderful owners who welcomed us in their home. The house had everything we needed and comfortably slept the 6 adults and 3 kids. Great weekend!

Bachelorette Getaway

We spent my sister’s bachelorette weekend in York, and our stay was incredible! Quick and easy communication with the owners and the house was so clean and comfortable. It was the perfect home base for a lovely weekend. We love how much character the house has.

Excellent weekend getaway

Convient location, walking distance to Longsands Beach, Nubble Light Houst, Shortsands Beach and downtown York. The home is equipped with all the ammenities required for a comfortable stay and the layout is greta for relaxing and convesing with family and or friends.

Wedding getaway

Very old property, smells old. Needs complete paint outside. Floors squeak everywhere. Bathrooms are old and need complete makeover. Best part was going to downtown worse part was knowing we had to go back and sleep there. Open all windows trying to get the smell out but no help. The entire family was so disappointed. I wish I knew this before we stayed hope this helps the next family.

Beautiful home and great location!

We stayed here for a low key bachelorette party and had a blast. The house had everything we needed and provided us a big comfy space to hang out. The hot tub was excellent :) Beds comfy and excellent appliances, bathrooms, everything. Would stay again!

Ladies week-end away

The house was wonderful. Wish we could have been there longer than a weekend. The only thing that I questioned was one of the Queen bedrooms, I was under the impression had two twin beds as well. It was a rollaway and a small toddler bed. It turned out fine because one of the ladies was unable last minute to make the trip. All I all the house was in a great area, walkable to the beach and bonus, it was the week end of The York Fall Fair which we were able to walk to.
