Our Easter trip

The house was amazing for the price! Very centrally located not far from a lot of places, stores ect. Very peaceful neighborhood I would definitely recommend.

The home needs a lot of help.

Did not stay there. Arrived and found the house extremely dirty. The backyard is horrible. It is not a single family home it is a duplex. AC was not working.

Nice place, good location, dog friendly. No Hot Tub

PRO'S : The host is very nice and the location is good. The fenced yard gives dogs a nice little area to be free outside.The place is much better than any hotel/motel in that price range/market. CON'S : The Hot Tub didn't work; since it was one of the big draws to the place it was very disappointing & other reviews had the same issue. The front door lock! again as noted by others the front door lock does not work properly. It is Way to hard to lock when leaving & one time it took 20 min! to lock. . . Check in was listed as 3 but getting there @ 4 there was still a 30 min wait sitting in the driveway. OVERALL;; This could be a 5 star stay but falls short.

Inadequate

Upon arriving, our entry was easy our initial impression was pretty good, fairly clean and had a decent look and we thought this will work. We did open closet door for water heater and it was filthy even between the slats of door.. fire alarm wouldn't stop beeping intermittently. Beds were creaky. Plates were put away/still wet 2days in. Hot tub never worked (floods and rain were the weather). While considering the situation we were very patient and host said her guy would fix the next day. We paid more money against other Vrbos since we agreed our needed R&R vaca would best be achieved by ending each night w a hot tub! The Part was unavailable. We were super disappointed considering this was one of the expected highlights for our stay. However, even after confronting and expressing all the above, were granted a big fat "Im sorry"! Its not personal its BAD business not to compensate for failure to hold up your end of the bargain as a host- you recieved OUR money in full, right?

Good location, fairly clean.

Overall we had a okay stay. We traveled over 17 hours and arrived to a fully lit house which was nice for a late night arrival time. The next day we noticed the hot tub cover was broken and led to dirty water getting in the hot tub. The second to last day we had trouble with the front door not wanting to lock or unlock. The door remained not wanting to properly lock / unlock the rest of our trip. We also had problems with the AC turning on and off. We had it set to 70 and we would come back to it being at 78. We were expecting basic necessities such as paper towels, cups, etc. but was left to find 1 cup and no paper towels. Other than that the place was fairly clean, and accurate according to online listing with easy check in / check out process.

Overpriced

Let me start from my arrival which was at night pulled up to what I thought was an abandoned or vacant lot because there was no outside lights and huge cobwebs at the entrance didn’t give a warm welcome feel. The apartment was ok on the inside but certain things should’ve been disclosed such as the dirty patio furniture which made having them useless, and the weird very high jacuzzi style tub which wasn’t elderly friendly Second guest was my elderly mother whom had issues using this as well as the miniature toilet (very uncomfortable for her) Oh yea! There also was the stain filled sheets (apparently someone had a good stay there) needless to say that was gross and made me spend more buying my own ….for the price I definitely was expecting better.

Extremely disappointed!

Filthy property with stained couches. Lawn unkept; moldy outside furniture, bugs in the bathroom! The place is awful and the host has a nast attitude. Wouldn't recommend to any human.

Bugs

There were a lot of bugs throughout the house. A lot of the dishes were put away dirty. There isn’t much to use to cook with. The backyard was nice and big. Needs to be cleaned better between guests.
