Beautiful cottage

Excellent location especially if you have a kid attending Hillsdale College.

Everything was great and the host Karen was wonderful too!! The place is super clean and gorgeous round lake makes for amazing views!!

Family reunion

Karen’s place was so comfortable and was exactly what I was looking for. The house was great for our family and the lake access was easy and convenient. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended.

Family summer trip

This property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. It is very convenient to access the lake. Very relaxing stay. Friendly host and quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful Vacation

Wonderful place

This was one of the top places we have stayed. Our host was wonderful and friendly. The house had everything we needed, was extremely clean. There was plenty of space for 6 women to share. We will be staying here again. Loved it!

Perfect Getaway

Our family stayed here for a week while in town visiting family. The cottage was pristine and had everything you could possibly need. Karen was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Will definitely recommend to other family and friends. Hope to get back soon.

Wonderful Vacation

Loved our short getaway

We took a last minute trip to Round Lake, just to get out of the house for a couple of days. The property was great, had everything we needed. It's just a short walk to the water, with a couple of kayaks, a canoe and dock. Life jackets and water are on the property. My daughter and her friend are already asking when we can go back.

Weekend Travellers

All the necessities covered. A very well equipped and clean rental home. Truly felt like home away from home because of this. Providing bread, milk, eggs, and butter was a much appreciated touch and thank you for the red raspberry jam! Very tasty! We’ll be back, for sure.

Weekend away

Our son is a wrestler at Adrian College so we rented this house to stay for the weekend to see him. The house was great! We had a fantastic time playing cards and just relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the house was extremely clean!! I own my own cleaning business, cleaning rentals, so I'm pretty picky and this house was perfect! Karen was great to work with and very nice! We were sad to leave but are talking about going back soon. Thank you for a wonderful weekend and much needed family time!!

Wonderful stay!

Slice of the good life!

WONDERFUL experience! The owner is wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. The house is GREAT! If your plan on cooking up a storm the kitchen is on the smaller side but very efficient and very well stocked. The owner provided some bare necessities upon check in. Bread, milk, coffee and even wine =) There water in about 50 yards in front of the home and has everything. Fire pit, chairs, float, kayaks etc. We missed nothing. I can't say enough about this place. From the cleanliness, extra beds and bedding, life jackets, wood for fire we will definitely be back! Thank you for your hospitality!!!!

A Great Stay

Perfect Summer Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage. It was absolutely perfect. Karen was helpful and easy to reach if needed. The Round Lake and Devils Lake area is beautiful. It is the perfect summer getaway. We plan to return next summer!

Wonderful experience for families

We had an amazing time at the lake house, easy access to the lake with lots of amenities: canoe, kayak, life jackets, kids toys, floaties and lots of extra. Full kitchen with pots and pans, basic food also included. Perfect for a long weekend getaway near body of water. Really you just need to bring yourselves. We had family come for the day, and at one point there well 4 adults and 4 kids, we all were very comfortable. The host herself is amazing! So generous and kind. We could not ask for a better host, very relaxed and chill, didn't mind our kiddos running around! Karen thought of everything!! I will say, the neighbors were a bit uptight, so just be respectful of her neighbors. Karen gives great instructions on where you can/can't go. Just suggestions for future guests: the water source is well water so if you don't like the taste, bring your own water. Being more than enough food as well, groceries was a ways out but if you have car, not a big deal. Karen also was kind enough to include fresh items like eggs, butter, milk and bread, life saver!!
