Wonderful house

Senior Girls Trip

Everyone had a great time! The house is in a perfect location, and the bikes and golf carts included are a huge plus!! We have stayed at Fripp many times, and this is now one of our favorite houses!

Amazing Family Vacation

Beautiful house able to accommodate two families totaling 13 people. Everyone rated our vacation a 10 out of 10! We were traveling with kids 8-16 years old plus 4 adults. The island was beautiful. We will be back for sure!

Great family house

What a great place to unwind and enjoy family and friends. The house is lovely and can accommodate a large extended family. Fripp island is a gem. There are so many things to do in island you would never have to leave.

Beautiful home

This is the perfect home for family gatherings and for members of your family that need assistance. The elevator and golf carts with handicap decals allowed family to enjoy the beautiful beach at Fripp. My parents want to know the mattress company name for the bedding in the master bedroom on the first floor. They said “best sleep ever! “

Return to the Low Country

This is our second stay at Marshmellow and it exceeded all expectations. Check-in was easy, and the home is wonderful and accommodated all of our family! There was a slight issue with the dishwasher but the host addressed it promptly and to our satisfaction. We are looking forward to returning as this experience never disappoints’

Family visit for baby shower

We had a large group of extended family in town for a shower and wanted to stay together. The house was very nice and well maintained, the host was wonderful also. The disappointing part is the extra fees that Fripp charges. I paid over $500 for amenity cards and only 3 people were ever asked to show them the entire weekend. It was a waste of money on top of the amount already spent.

Party House

We were there for a family reunion and I was so happy to be able to host all my siblings and nieces and nephews. Beautiful home. The golf carts were great. The elevator worked out so well for those of us who have difficulty with steps.

Fripp week

House was as advertised. No issues. Worked out great for my family. The golf carts are an amazing addition as there were 12 of us plus a toddler. Would recommend and would stay there again!

Best Wedding Ever!

A truly beautiful place to host a small wedding! Our closest family and friends gathered for a weekend of festivities at the Barnes' home. Not only was Fripp the perfect place to host a wedding but this home made for a wonderful gathering place and reception area. In planning for this weekend I had a million questions and Joan was so gracious in answering all questions and providing help. The backyard situated on the marsh with a beautiful porch created a magnificent place for our reception. The home was large enough to fit people coming and going throughout the weekend. The kitchen was perfect for the caterer to prepare. The golf carts were so helpful carting people around the island. I can't thank Joan enough for allowing us to have such an incredible wedding at her home!

Gullah Family Retreat

Our vacation was an amazing experience. The booking was seamless and the communication was responsive and very helpful throughout our stay. We arrived later than expected due to weather but the checkin directions were very helpful. The home is beautiful and every need is anticipated and met. There is subtle tasteful signage all over the home down to the light switches. The home’s interior and exterior is beautiful lending itself to lots of family pictures. The two golf carts accommodated our large family and was very useful for sightseeing at the beach and around Fripp Island. I believe in building experiences for my family and this was an opportunity to connect with our St. Helena Island family. With your help my mission was accomplished. Peace and blessings!

Perfect

We had a great time at this beautiful house. We loved the house, the views, the golf carts, and of course spending time with family on Fripp. The elevator is so nice for getting a wheelchair up to the main floor and we were able to take advantage of the handicapped cart designation to take our handicapped daughter right out to the beach. Joan was a great host before and during our trip, answering any questions we may have had.

Perfect for a group of friends!

This was a great house for a group of friends for the weekend. We had 9 girls, plenty of beds and bathrooms! The garage was perfect for morning workouts, and we loved having access to the golf carts. Would definitely book again!

Fripp vacation

We absolutely loved renting this home on Fripp Island. It was very comfortable very roomy and the view outside the back door was sublime! The golf cart that came with the property was super fun!

We came to Fripp Island as something new and different to do with the kids for vacation. They enrolled in Camp Fripp and we took off on the golf cart exploring the island and just fell in love. Now with this home and 6 homesites, we still enjoy the magic of Fripp.

The party deck has two picnic tables with benches, a round conversation table with 4 chairs, a bar, built in seating around the perimeter, grill and the most amazing sunsets on Fripp each night! A water house is built-in so for nights when you want to have a low country boil with friends and family, your clean up is as easy as a few good minutes with the hose and you are ready for the next meal. Kids of all ages love the deck.
