The leak you mentioned was due to an unusually heavy rainstorm and was limited to the bathroom skylight, not the entire roof. We had it addressed immediately to ensure your comfort and safety. Our home features a mix of vintage and personal touches that reflect its character. While we understand that style preferences vary, many guests enjoy its unique charm and cozy feel. As noted in the listing, the house includes Dish TV and WiFi. Streaming or casting services are not offered at this point in time and we do our best to make that clear so guests can plan accordingly. We appreciate your honest feedback and hope the convenient location made your stay enjoyable.

Maggie, thank you for staying at Casa de Gallegos and also for your comments. I was surprised there were so many primarily because you indicated everything was fine when we inquired how was your stay. I would like to address some comments: 1) The fireplace has a gas insert which unfortunately has been determined the entire unit needs replacing. It has been out of service since December not longer, with only one complaint - other guests understood. 2) to say the neighborhood is one you do not feel comfortable letting your kids play out in is rather harsh. It is an established, quiet neighborhood with very good neighbors including some who are retired, an elementary school teacher, a police officer, a piano teacher (who lives next door), some who work either remotely in IT/Engineering to name a few. It is a VERY safe neighborhood! 3) Yes the wood floors are somewhat creaky - the house was built in the late 50's and this is the first complaint about the floors. We will look into the living room couch since this is also the first complaint. It is unfortunate that your trip involved having major car problems and we were more than happy to help you find a mechanic. We do thank you again for staying at Casa de Gallegos.
