Great for Large Families

We had 6 adults and 3 kids in our group, and this place had plenty of space for us to spread out. The upstairs kitchen has a gorgeous view stretching out to the ocean. It leads out to a nice lanai with the same view and plenty of seating. The carport is a large outdoor living area where lots of folks can gather and hangout. 5 minute drive from Kaleos which was great when we were too tired to cook!

Best place to stay!

Great place to stay! Comfortable, clean and convenient location. Host is excellent! I recommend this place for everyone! Plenty of towels! Beds are all comfortable with wonderful bamboo sheets! Good appliance’s, gas stoves and large refrigerators. 3 families of 6 adults and 3 teenagers had the best -vacation and made wonderful memories being together!

This property was very excellent. There were somethings that can ge improve: sliding doors were off

Very good easy to find. Quite neighborhoods. Needs to upgrade kitchen, some lamps,air conditioning needs to be updated. Lights in laundry room needs to be fixed.we were in the dark for 2 days in laundry ( not safe)BBQ grilled dirty not good to use.( they bought us a new one) Other then that I(we) loved it. Thank you Other

Family Hawaiian vacation

Our family of 8 adults found this house to be roomy and comfortable. There was plenty of space for all of us to be together, as well as for individuals to spend time alone when they wished. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but close to Hilo and convenient to lots of activities. Everyone in our group was able to participate in activities of particular interest to them.

A Huge Disappointment! Absolutely NOT what is advertised or depicted in the pictures. Save Yourself

Where can I begin to explain the disappointment we felt staying in this house. The property was not clean. In fact, the property was filthy. He advertises that due to Covid there is at a minimum 1 day between renters to allow for a thorough cleaning. Well, it is clear that the renters were just at the house and the cleaning crew was unable to properly clean the house. There was a mattress pad hanging over the balcony (i'm guessing they left if there to dry), there was a broken screen door leaning up against the patio wall, the sliding glass door to the patio was broken and took herculean effort to open. We just didn't bother with it! The kitchen was disgusting with droppings on plates that were in the cupboard, the counter tops were extremely dirty. It was missing basic necessities such as a toaster, pots, or even a wine opener. The half bath in the master bedroom (NOTE: There is no shower/tub in the Master, nor access to the one shower. It is blocked off and off limits) was unsanitary. We had to clean the bathroom and wash the sheets in the master bedroom ourselves. The house is run-down. Truly not worth the price. But, OF UPMOST importance is the presence of mold/musty odor in the house. My daughter and I experienced extreme breathing issues in the home. It would go away when we were out sightseeing but once we returned to the house our physical reaction to the mold/musty smell was immediate. As a result, we avoided being in the house as little time as possible. It made our stay on the Big Island miserable. I DO NOT recommend this property. Save your money, stay elsewhere! This is a classic example of "bait and switch".
