Family trip

Host was very accommodating for any special needs. She was very nice to allow us a late checkout since our flight was in the afternoon. House is very good for 10 people. It is at the end of the street and very close to all shops and restaurants and highway. Big 3 level deck and nice swimming pool! Strongly recommend.

We loved the house. Check in was great. Our flight got in hours before actual check in time but our host accommodated our request to check in early. She was there to greet us when we arrived and checked to make sure we had everything we needed the next day. Our host, Luckie, was responsive to all our needs. The house is a little outside of the city proper but is a nice quiet area with easy highway access. We’d definitely go back.

We had a lovely family reunion here and there was more than enough space inside and outside the house. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining and the TV was huge!

Great multigenerational family vacation

Beautiful, spacious 2-story house with plenty of room for everyone. Three bedrooms and 3 baths on the first floor, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on 2nd floor. Outdoor patio areas were very nice. The patio areas are on 3 levels - 1st level outside the family room is a sitting area, 2nd level below is the outdoor kitchen / bbq area. 3rd level below is the pool area. The views were very nice. The neighborhood is very quiet. The host, Luckie, was very nice and responsive.

Great outside and inside space

Really nice property--my family enjoyed it a lot. Quiet location close to amenities. The owner is very attentive. She called prior to our arrival and a couple times during our 4 day stay. If you want high touch customer service, this is the place for you!

This is a beautiful home with fabulous accommodations. The spacious kitchen is so well-stocked and our extended family was able to prepare a meal for 50 people to bring to the church for our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. Luckie was gracious and even offered a variety of catering materials! The master bedroom is a dream; and every bedroom met our needs. My husband is preparing for knee replacement surgery and cannot do stairs, so we gave the master bedroom to my brother and his partner - but there was another bedroom downstairs with a private bath which was so nice we didn’t feel deprived! Everyone enjoyed the pool almost every day, even on the morning of the wedding day.

Family Vacation

The house was excellent and had all of the great amenties one could ask for! We enjoied the pool, hot-tub, outside kitchen & multi-tired decks. The inside of the house was excellent, well decocrated, very confortable ad the beds were very confortable! The master suite was amazing! I would rent this house again when we are in San Diego! You will not be disapointed chooseing this house if you are in the area.

Great Thanksgiving Week!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week at this house. It is the perfect setup for cooking a big meal, and we couldn't have been happier. Thanks so much for all the help with questions and the warm welcome. Our only regret is we didn't get to take advantage of the wonderful grill area ... we grilled briefly but didn't realize what a great setup was down there as well!

Location, location, location

Our family of 6 enjoyed this wonderful, spacious home. After spending a week at the beach, this home provided a great location to other southern CA activities. It’s within 1/2 hour from The San Diego Zoo, LaJolla (tide pooling at Scripp’s Pier and Sunday Farmer’s Market), Coronado Island (Sunday music in the park). Just an hour away is Temecula, a wonderful wine region. In addition to the great location, the home itself provided all we could ask for. It’s well stocked with all you need and has private space fir a large family to spread out. The outdoor space is grand! We loved cooking outside at the outdoor kitchen/bbque and the pool/jacuzzi were a treat to enjoy.

“Like a palace!”

The excitement as my 19-year old kiddo explored the “palace” was so much fun. We arrived after midnight local time, which was 3 am for our East-coast selve - but they were running around with delight. My husband and I stayed in what was like a master bedroom downstairs, because his knee makes stairs difficult. So the upstairs master bedroom was saved for my brother and his partner. The young adult kiddos (2) enjoyed the bedroom with twin beds and their own bath, and my mother was happy with her room as well. My son and then my nephew each spent a night in the final bed.We were in town for my son’s wedding, and catered the rehearsal dinner for 50 at a nearby church. The spacious kitchen has 2 ovens, plus we used the oven down on the deck as well. We had bowls and baking pans enough to prepare all of the food. In addition to the refrigerator in the kitchen, we had drinks cooling in the laundry room fridge. All made possible by Luckie’s generosity as a host!It’s a wonderful space for a large family, perfect for gathering.

Gold Doesn't Always Shine

The property is beautiful. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would come again. I encountered problems with maintenance issues: cleaning was still cleaning at 4P check-in time, pool was not ready upon arrival, outdoor grill was filthy, some lights/fans not working, fireplace and fridge not working in MB suite...Pleasant interactions with property manager.

Great family place!

The property had a lot of nice amenities . The house was nice with all the appliances, and kitchen utensils you would need. There were plenty of towels and bedding. However, the biggest NEGATIVE were the mattresses. The Mattresses were so worn, it was hard to get a restful sleep. The outside was FANTASTIC! Nice deck areas, outdoor kitchen for barbecuing and pool with a hot tub. The kids loved it! The family LOVED this property except for the mattresses .

Location, location, location

Our family of 6 enjoyed a week stay in this spacious home. After spending a week at the beach we wanted to move inland to a spot where we’d be close to some other southern CA activities. The location of this home was within 1/2 hour of Coronado Island (great beach and Sunday music in the park), The San Diego Zoo, and LaJolla (great ride pooling by Scripp’s Pier). We also ventured to Temecula wine country in just about an hour. This home was very comfortable. They had everything we needed. It’s well stocked kitchen and bathrooms left us needing nothing but our clothes. The space plan in the home allowed everyone to have private space. All but one bedroom have private bathrooms. The outdoor space is amazing. We loved using the outdoor kitchen for much of our cooking and the pool and jacuzzi were a big plus!

Incredible Week!! Our family of 13 stayed here for 8 nights.

This house had everything that you would ever need - every amenity! The pool house accommodation was an added surprise! My grandchildren were in the pool and hot tub from morning until evening ... We had a family event of 21 of us for a BBQ on the 2nd level ... Incredibly beautiful and the property manager accessible and quick with responses with any questions we had! Thank you Lucky for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Lovely home

We stayed here for a week with a party of 8. The home was more than big enough, close to everything and all attractions. Very homey feel to it, which we enjoyed. Pool area was lots of fun for the kids! Would love to stay here again
