This is an "ALLERGY FREE CABIN", PETS of all kinds are not permitted in the cabin and NO SMOKING allowed inside the cabin!!

Cabin Description:

Whether you are looking for a romantic cabin for two or a cozy cabin for a small family getaway with all of the luxury amenities to make everyone happy, “Mountain Escape” is the just what the name implies. It is the perfect place for individuals, couples, or families wanting to escape from the fast pace life.

Remodeled in January 2022, Mountain Escape is quiet peaceful and private log cabin in a secluded, quiet and beautiful half acre forest and has a beautiful view of the mountain and the forest. It is centrally located in peaceful Wears Valley, close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is also just minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and only 10 minutes drive to the Metcalf Bottoms entrance of the park.

With a cathedral ceiling and high end upscale decor, the luxury you will find in “Mountain Escape” is evident from the minute you step inside.
The main level boasts a new stainless steel fully equipped kitchen, a new cozy living area with large new smart TV screen, dining table that seats four persons, a queen Murphy bed, and a gas log fireplace, newly remodeled full bath, and large deck that enjoys beautiful views of the mountains, and a spiral staircase that leads to the lower master bedroom.

The lower level consist of over sized master suite with its own bath, a pool table, LCD TV, and an deck with a hut tub.

It is easily accessible by car with well maintained wide roads and ample off road paved parking. This is an upscale cabin with nice views in a very private wooded setting. It is perfect for a honeymoon or a second honeymoon as well as a vacation home for a small family.

For those who need to stay connected, wireless high speed cable internet is provided.

“Mountain Escape” is close to all the area has to offer, but far enough away to give you peace, quiet and serenity. Come hibernate in Mountain Escape!

We had mixed feelings about this cabin. We loved the location. No super close neighbors and it was convenient to shopping. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom/shower was spacious. The owners were easy to communicate with and responsive to questions. There were a few housekeeping issues (left clothes from previous guest; questionable bed linens) that were handled promptly. As far as “luxury cabin” is concerned, we expected a lot more. The hot tub didn’t work properly. The buttons on the side were not functioning and the jets wouldn’t even move the water. It was basically like sitting in a bathtub. The upstairs fireplace was not working. The instructions on the wall stated to turn knob and enjoy. We turned the knob and nothing happened. Check in instructions stated soap would be furnished in bathrooms. We had one soap which was in the kitchen. We really expected a lot more for how much we paid to stay here.

We had a great stay and would definitely book again. Everything was as described, except the view. It was SO much better in person! Absolutely gorgeous. We have had a few stays in the Smoky Mountains, but the Mountain Escape had to be the most cozy and relaxing stay yet. Hass & Hanna were very attentive and communicated regularly with us. Book your stay now, it's well worth it.

Loved it. Easy to get to. Good roads. View was amazing. Haas and Hanna (the owners) were in contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We already plan on checking the dates for next year so we can go back. We also got to see Rocky (the bear) on our last day.

Overall a very nice place and very peaceful. The fireplace however didn’t work for us upstairs and the hot tub didn’t work either which was disappointing but everything else was beautiful and worked great. The fire pit out back was very nice as well. If you and your family or spouse are looking for a quiet getaway this is your place.

Just as described. The view was the selling point and did not disappoint. Property was very clean & located close to all that we wanted to see/do. Once we located the cabin, access code worked and no issues unloading as we backed up close to the front stairs.Host was very responsive before and after.

Communication with host was excellent. Property was in great shape and the location could not be better. This cabin sits right outside the Wears Valley entrance to GSM National Park with a picnic area and hiking minutes from the front door. The location was perfect for us and a bit more subdued than Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which is exactly what we wanted. The view from the deck is incredible and we will be back for sure!

Impressive stay! The closness to hiking grocery shopping and the best scenery A it was dusty and lots of spider webs inside. Wasn't a deal breaker. We just cleaned up a bit. Would have been nice to have extra towels, had to wash them 3 times and had to but our own laundry soap. Would definitely return again over all.

We had a wonderful little vacation here. It was perfect for 2 people as it provded plenty of room. The cabin was well appointed and clean. The location was peaceful but close enough to antiques, hiking, the only drawback would be the spiral staircase is a bit steep and could be very difficult for folks who may have disabilities. The only bedroom is down the staircase. We thoroughly enjoyed the pooltable and hot tub. We would recommend for couples.

Mountain Escape is quiet peaceful and private log cabin in a secluded, quiet and beautiful half acre forest, and has am amazing mountain view. It is centrally located in peaceful Wears Valley,only 18 minutes drive to Pigeon Forge Parkaway and 15 minutes drive to Gatlinburg. It is also just 5 minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and very close to the Metcalf Bottoms entrance of the park.
