This is an "ALLERGY FREE CABIN", PETS of all kinds are not permitted in the cabin and NO SMOKING allowed inside the cabin!!

Cabin Description:

Whether you are looking for a romantic cabin for two or a cozy cabin for a small family getaway with all of the luxury amenities to make everyone happy, “Mountain Escape” is the just what the name implies. It is the perfect place for individuals, couples, or families wanting to escape from the fast pace life.

Remodeled in January 2022, Mountain Escape is quiet peaceful and private log cabin in a secluded, quiet and beautiful half acre forest and has a beautiful view of the mountain and the forest. It is centrally located in peaceful Wears Valley, close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is also just minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and only 10 minutes drive to the Metcalf Bottoms entrance of the park.

With a cathedral ceiling and high end upscale decor, the luxury you will find in “Mountain Escape” is evident from the minute you step inside.
The main level boasts a new stainless steel fully equipped kitchen, a new cozy living area with large new smart TV screen, dining table that seats four persons, a queen Murphy bed, and a gas log fireplace, newly remodeled full bath, and large deck that enjoys beautiful views of the mountains, and a spiral staircase that leads to the lower master bedroom.

The lower level consist of over sized master suite with its own bath, a pool table, LCD TV, and an deck with a hut tub.

It is easily accessible by car with well maintained wide roads and ample off road paved parking. This is an upscale cabin with nice views in a very private wooded setting. It is perfect for a honeymoon or a second honeymoon as well as a vacation home for a small family.

For those who need to stay connected, wireless high speed cable internet is provided.

“Mountain Escape” is close to all the area has to offer, but far enough away to give you peace, quiet and serenity. Come hibernate in Mountain Escape!

Impressive stay! The closness to hiking grocery shopping and the best scenery A it was dusty and lots of spider webs inside. Wasn't a deal breaker. We just cleaned up a bit. Would have been nice to have extra towels, had to wash them 3 times and had to but our own laundry soap. Would definitely return again over all.

We loved our stay in this cabin and would definitely stay here again. The cabin is beautiful and in a great location. The view is also beautiful. The cabin was clean, well maintained, and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The hosts were excellent with instructions, information, and communication. We have stayed in a lot of cabins and this one has been our favorite.

We had a wonderful little vacation here. It was perfect for 2 people as it provded plenty of room. The cabin was well appointed and clean. The location was peaceful but close enough to antiques, hiking, the only drawback would be the spiral staircase is a bit steep and could be very difficult for folks who may have disabilities. The only bedroom is down the staircase. We thoroughly enjoyed the pooltable and hot tub. We would recommend for couples.

Absolutely FANTASTIC property and even better owners. Everything about this place was as promised if not better and communication with the owners was easy and frequent enough we felt very comfortable going in and as though they were really concerned with our enjoyment of the experience. The cabin is comfy and cozy and we immediately felt right at home! Absolutely will be booking this cabin again in the future. Its proximity to great food and fun in Wears Valley, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg was perfect while still being private enough to enjoy a few days of cabin life with spectacular views. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!! (We also enjoyed the “welcoming committee” that dropped by on our first evening - a very cute, and curious, bear who made a quick loop and then walked back into the woods!)

Great View, okay stay

Check in was easy, cabin was decently clean but I wouldn’t say sparkling. My wife stepped into a giant pile of rice as she got out of the car, not a great start for bear country. The view was great and the main selling point of the cabin. WiFi did not work with the provided password but we eventually got that sorted. The hosts claimed hot tub water is changed and properly cleaned every visit, but several of us still got a nasty rash from hot tub use, so that was a bummer. Fire ring was cool and you have decent privacy, it was very close to the park which was great as well. Bed was very soft for my wife and I taste, but that is personal preference. Probably a one and done for me, but was a nice getaway

The cabin was beautiful and the view from the balcony was amazing. The owners contacted us quickly after booking and several times before our arrival. Check in was very easy and there were no problems during our stay. It was a very enjoyable experience!

Lovely convenient cabin

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this retreat! Very convenient to the park and the food in Townsend is amazing! There is a spiral staircase to go to the main bedroom downstairs, so keep that in mind, but the cabin is nicely furnished and has a lovely view of the mountains!

Perfect Little Place in the Woods

We loved the unique layout & design of the cabin. Being tucked back in the forest, the location was perfect for our relaxing weekend getaway……it gave the desired privacy we were looking for w/a beautiful view! The decor & cleanliness made, for a very comfortable stay! We’d love to revisit sometime again!

Mountain Escape is quiet peaceful and private log cabin in a secluded, quiet and beautiful half acre forest, and has am amazing mountain view. It is centrally located in peaceful Wears Valley,only 18 minutes drive to Pigeon Forge Parkaway and 15 minutes drive to Gatlinburg. It is also just 5 minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and very close to the Metcalf Bottoms entrance of the park.
