Comfortable

Very pleasant stay, pity there is no Wifi.Clean, well appointed and quiet location with great sunsets.

Disappointing

the comments from previous guests were accurate and we encountered all of them. Serious attention to cleanliness / condition of kitchenware / bed linen (pillows must have a protector) / oven really not up to a family visit. Coffee machine with no mugs to fit under the spout is really odd. No instructions for tv, oven, stove. Great house, but a serious tidy up needed. We left a day early. Surrounded by Nature and stunning beaches

The property is lovely but they need to get a new cleaner. We arrived with big expectations but the cleanliness was slightly lacking. The hand rail up to the top floor was sticky and gritty and clearly not cleaned for a while. There were hand marks all over the main windows. It appears there were some party animals there before us. Balcony screen door netting off main bedroom was ripped and resting against wall outside. Deck chair was broken. Found a mouth guard on floor next to bed in main room. Dried blood on floor in 2nd bedroom. Ants riddled through pantry from spilled sugar so everywhere on kitchen benches. Unable to use shade umbrella on balcony as base was broken. Chopping board inside drawer was smelly and not washed. Range hood filters in desperate need of a clean. The lounge suite is old and uncomfortable. Essentially the cleanliness and small details let our experience down and prevented us from giving 5 stars.

Great property & great location

Really lovely home. Grateful for the owners to share it. Stunning views. Exc location for national park and beaches. Deep clean needed in & under couch & beds, as noted by others also. Top food finds: Dalrymple hotel Stansbury; Yorktown bakery. Loved our stay, wished it was longer, hope to return.

Great stay!

Beautiful views, very comfortable beds, perfect location, wonderful stay, will definitely recommend to others! Only suggestion to look at having a less noisy heater if possible.

Little things to improve .

It is a fantastic house. Property mangers were helpful .. every thing inside was very good. Only BBQ was dirty so couldn't use.. and out side sitting was dirty.. needs cob webbing since spiders were there. Definitely will come back.

Best location

We loved our summer getaway at Lakeview, close to the national park, Willyama beach and a beautiful relaxing home with a great vibe to relax in the evenings. We will definitely rebook!

Marion Bay getaway

Great location within Marion Bay and Innes National Park with views of the salt lake and surrounds. Could do with a little more TLC in the overall cleaning and upkeep of BBQ, basic kitchen items such as salt and pepper and oil as well as paper towels and tissues.

Well designed comfortable house in a great location

We were looking for somewhere to take our German relatives for a couple fo days. The COVID-19 lockdowns meant they had to leave in a hurry, so it was just my wife and myself who got to enjoy the stay. The house was in excellent condition and well-designed. It's proximity to the Innes National Park made it very easy to visit the many beautiful sites and go for good long walks.

Great Location but Overpriced

This is a nice property and Marion Bay is a perfect location to use as a base for exploring the spectacular Innes National Park. While the house was quite comfortable with all you would need for self catering, for the price there were a few things lacking. There is no wi-fi for a start. The king size bed was very comfortable but was not fitted with a king size top sheet. The property looked clean on the surface but was actually quite grotty on closer inspection: the lounge and mat in the lounge room could do with replacing, and some of the kitchenware needed a good scrub. On the whole I would recommend this property but I have stayed in many properties that were similarly priced but were much better value.

Time to relax

the home is very beautiful with stunning views to snow lake. We loved every minute of being there; the house was equipped with everything necessary. The design and decor add to the overall fabulous impression of the house.
