The Haus was perfect for our long weekend and also our first time visiting Tahoe. Great location close to everything you need. The house was immaculate, the hot tub was huge and so nice after a long day of hiking. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. This was one of our best vacation rental experiences ever. The place is exceptional — highly recommend!

The property was amazing. The attention to detail is remarkable—from the wood beams to the professional-grade kitchen. After a day of hiking, the outdoor soaking tub under the stars was a transformative experience. It’s rare to find a place that feels this remote without sacrificing a single modern comfort. Truly a masterclass in secluded upscale living.

Cozy little cabin for 2

My husband and I stayed here in January and loved it. The house was the perfect winter escape for us. We were even able to easily walk down the hill to the various restaurants and market on the main road. We would stay here again for sure.

Lots of black ants in the cabin. Carpet should be replaced, quite worn.

Lovely cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was super cozy and better than the pictures. It felt very private and was well equipped. The hot tub was great to warm up in the winter. You definitely need 4-wheel drive or chains in the winter as the road that it is on is not a major street and there are a couple of hills to go up.

Wonderful cabin in beautiful surroundings

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 4 days in Black Bear Haus and enjoyed every minute. Perfect home base to explore Lake Tahoe. Numerous hiking trails within walking distance, nice restaurant options nearby. Soaking in the hot tub after a day of snowshoeing was wonderful! The house is nicely appointed with plenty of comfortable seating. Very private location and the house was spotless. Uber fast wi-fi. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need. Our only suggestion would be a new mattress as the existing one has divots and is not very comfortable. Otherwise would definitely stay here again.

Loved it!!

It was a beautiful place to stay. We took our bikes and rode from the house to Palisades and back. It’s close to the bike trail. After we went in the hot tub. It was beautiful. We enjoyed the place and would love to come back sometime.

Can’t say a bad thing about this place. It was spotless, beautiful and a great location, wish we could’ve stayed a week! Loved seeing all the birds at the feeder out the front window also. If we ever come back to Tahoe we will stay here again for sure.
