great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Place was clean and warm. Great open kitchen/dining to hang out with a working fire place in the center. Communication with the landlord was awesome . We got quick response to all the questions we had via text . And great price and location. Definitely recommend.

Overall my experience was wonderful. Ran into a couple of minor issues and they were addressed immediately. Would definitely visit again, but in the summer ;0).

Change of scenery getaway

We were looking for a getaway for a few days. This seemed to be the perfect house. The pictures on VRBO looked great. The house is not in great shape. The ceiling leaks, the patio has loose floor planks, rusty screws and the railing is popping off. There is only one bench at the table. We were three adults so could not sit out there if we wanted to. The gas grill was out of gas. The indoor oven was broken. There was a countertop oven provided so that is what we had to prepare meals for three adults. The sofa smells like a dog, carpet is filthy and the shower curtain is moldy. The location was great and we were able to get out and see the sights we wanted to see.

Terrible Stay

Owner cancelled our stay just a few hours before our pending arrival. Vrbo committed to locating us and paying for an overnight accommodation at the Hampton Inn in Stroudsburg for August 11th. Vrbo first scheduled our stay at the Hampton in Stroudsburg but incorrectly did not pay for the stay. The room had to be cancelled and then rebooked with Vrbo's payment information. Hampton then credited my credit card for the August 11th stay and then Hampton subsequently later charged me for the August 11th stay. I am contesting this with my credit card company. Both Vrbo's customer service were extremely hard to deal with as was Hampton Inn's. One of the worst experiences of my life.

Lovely home and a wonderful stay

Went with a few friends and the dog for rafting at the Delaware water gap. The house is conveniently close and had all the things we needed for a relaxing stay.

Clean, modern home close to multiple Poconos attractions

Clean, modern house. Very accurate to listing. Very close to Bushkill falls and Delaware Water Gap.

PA stay

Couldn't check in until a day later because of emergency repairs. Check in was late the next day. The place was great no complaints. Some lights didn't work properly . No big deal. Enjoyed the time we were at the place. Bed was Comfortable. Overall I would stay there again.

Just okay.

The location was great, and check-in was easy. The owner provided pretty thorough rules, which was nice. The house was large and had a nice back deck. I would be lying, though, if I said we didn't have our share of issues with the house. The oven was broken and didn't work, which caused major problems because we had already made food to put in the oven. The owner told us to use the toaster oven, which was absolutely not sufficient. The grill had two empty propane tanks, so we had to drive down the mountain to go exchange one of them, which took time, energy, and money. The owner reimbursed us after quite a bit of chasing. Other than that, the house is sort of in a state of disrepair. Neither bathroom has a fully functioning shower head, the one downstairs is missing tiles, and there has clearly been significant leaking through the roof. I wish more care had been paid to the property, especially given what we're paying for a few days' stay. Even with all the negatives, it was still enjoyable. Great location and easy access to lots of hiking.

Perfect stay

The house was huge and beautifully furnished. There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay. Me and my family had a great time and its location within the park allowed us to cut the line to get into Bushkill Falls!
