Jessica Thank you for your message. I’m sorry to hear that parts of your stay were impacted by the unexpected exterior construction and that the experience did not meet your expectations. As mentioned previously, the building’s concrete restoration work was scheduled by the association, and I was not given advance notice prior to your arrival. Once I became aware of the situation, I informed you right away. I understand that this was an inconvenience, and I do regret that it affected your stay. The work has since been completed. Regarding the concerns about cleanliness and the garbage disposal, the unit is professionally cleaned and inspected before each guest’s arrival. I was not notified of these issues during your stay, which would have allowed me the opportunity to address them promptly. In terms of your request for a 50% refund plus the cleaning fee, I’m unable to accommodate that request. The concerns were raised near the end of your stay, after the majority of your reservation had already been completed, and I was not given the opportunity to resolve them in real time. That said, I do want to be fair given the unexpected construction. As a gesture of goodwill, I will waive the charge for replacing the garbage disposal , but I’m not able to provide a larger refund. After four days at my unit , you messaged me and said “ We are having a great time at NSB!” “My daughters are loving it!” “ Sadly , we have to leave”. You never mentioned you were unhappy with anything. You also asked to stay longer in my unit, since you had a late flight home. My cleaner’s name and cell number is posted on my refrigerator if a guest has any complaints about cleanliness. All the condominiums in my association are sprayed monthly to eliminate any insects and prevent infestations. The exterminator will respond immediately by spraying my unit, if a guest complains about seeing an insect. I can only resolve a problem if I am made aware a problem exists. Thank You.
