As usual, Bruny Hideaway proved a great place to stay. One of the best things is the site, totally private, fantastic views, brilliant for dogs with no neighbours to set them off and any amount of room for them to explore. Wonderfully equipped with additions like coffee machine, new air fryer and food staples should you run short (we try to be totally self sufficient but visitors from interstate or overseas are not always going to be able to have that luxury). In short - wonderful!

Great views and walks nearby. There's a bit of a dip at the start of the driveway that might be a problem if you've got a low car. Host provided clear instructions on day of arrival, great experience overall!

My parents and I had a very relaxing time at Hideaway. We loved the seclusion of the property, the peacefulness and the deck and ammenities. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and additional thoughtful items such as containers, salt and pepper etc. The only thing we regretted, was not bringing meat to cook on the BBQ, however we did use it to heat our lasagna which worked prefectly!

A beautiful welcoming space that made us feel at home! It was very restful to stay here after our hiking trip and I loved walking along the shoreline in the mornings and evenings. We were excited to spot many wallaby’s and bandicoots during our stay. The pantry was very well stocked with tea coffee and condiments the deck a lovey place to have breaky in the morning and to watch the sunset. Would love to come back!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

My Parents purchased this beautiful piece of Bruny and built their dream home. Karen and I purchased the property from them to keep the property in the family. For us arriving at the ferry terminal is a time to relax and get excited to be visiting the hideaway. We love sharing all the property has to offer with others.

この宿泊施設の特徴

300 meters of water frontage, private block on 5 acres of bush adjacent to Marks Point Reserve. Launch a boat or kayak directly from the property. Excellent shore or boat fishing. Oysters in abundance. Large living area with water facing views leading onto a large deck with comfortable outdoor furniture either side of the house. Trails and tracks to explore, ride a bike or stroll. The bush setting attracts many native animals. We pride ourselves on being super clean and doing what we can to ensure our guests have the best possible Bruny experience.
