Snowboarding / family trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying here. We are already talking about coming back. The house is perfect location. There were 15 of us that stayed here completely comfortable. We snow tube the first night. And went up the mountain the other days. The kids had a blast in the hot tub every night. And played pool every night also.

Cozy cabin, but hot tub and shower wasn't hot enough. Check-in process could be easier if we didn't have to go back and forth between the office and cabin. Ended up leaving the night before check-out day. We appreciate the space and plenty of rooms and beds and how close it is to the ski resort.

This was our 2nd time staying at this cabin. We noted some issues that need attention. There were ants found in the kitchen.There seemed to be less dishes, glasses and cooking items than our last stay.The cabin needs some attention to other than the basic cleaning. Rusty AC vents, dirty floors and baseboards. Also light bulbs in several lamps were not working.We found the 2 bag garbage rule an inconvenience and we had to actually transport 3 bags of garbage back home rather than use outside locations for disposal.Overall an ok place with basic cleanliness that could use more oversight by management.We think that attention to some basic maintenance (other than the usual cleaning) would make this cabin a more enjoyable place.

Cabin was family friendly. Hot tub was nice.Plenty of towels, blankets, sheets, comforters, pillows. Very soft, comfortable beds. Air conditioning and ice makers worked well. No dish washer. Was confused on what to do with garbage.

All was great

All was great! Only incovenience was fans in bedrooms. It did get kind o warm at night in the house. The microwave was not working. But other than that.... We had a great time.

christmas getaway

eveything went pretty well except for running out of hot water but there were 13 of us so we waited in between showers i had to fix the oven door and the microwave door needs repair other than that we had a great time,the location was perfect i would return in the future

Layout of house

The layout of the house made it challenging. Constantly having to go through someones room to go outside rhrough someines room as well as to get to the hot tub. The matteesses on the bunkbeds were wirn out and horribke to skeep on. The fire pit needs to be replaced, It was not ckeaned out. . Bunk beds were nit able to ve used, Ended up using aur mattresses. . out.

Our home away from home!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this cabin countless times and it is always a relief when we arrive it truly is our "home away from home". We enjoy the calm peaceful porch sitting it offers and the location to the fair grounds is perfect. Just a short walk and we can attend events there. Added bonus this trip a new Breakfast location has opened across the street and the food there is amazing and we walked over easily even with our daughter's wheelchair! And we got to play Putt Putt also within walking distance!! Another Maggie Valley getaway in the books and YES we will be renting this cabin again when we visit the area again!

Cozy cabin

Overall a cozy cabin. Right on the main street, mini golf right next door, fun little spot. The cabin could use some updating and TVs in the bedrooms would have been nice also more outdoor seating. We all did have a good time.

Has 7 beds so we brought a couple air mattress so we didn’t have to bunk with a buddy. plenty of space for that. location is right on the main drag which was what i wanted as we rode our bikes to cherhola,tail of dragon,foothills parkway and every wrong turn. Didn’t use the hot tub but heard it running. ac worked great. was able to park 3 trucks and trailers. I highly recommend this place and will return next time down that way. Price was great too.

Great Cabin!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was scheduled for one of the worst winter weather spells our region had seen in a long time. We had originaly booked another cabin. Carolina Vacation rentals reached out to us ahead of arrival and explained that our booked cabin may not be accessible due to the snow and ice and that he had a "backup " cabin ready to go. We tried and could not reach the first cabin, so we checked into "Heart of the Valley" which was a free upgrade. Clean spacious cabin that stayed toasty even in sub-zero weather. the only reason I wouldn't reccomend this spot is if you want privacy. It is right in the middle of town on the main drag and convienent to everything, just not secluded. Huge thank you to Carolina Vacations for taking such good care of us. I would definately stay here again.

Great cabin

The cabin was in a great location with everything nearby. It was clean and spacious. Our group usually stays in different motels around the area but the cabin provided a place we could all stay under the same roof which gave us the chance for more and better socializing. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Yearly family get together.

Over all we were very happy with our stay. The location was very convenient to everything being it was it was in the center of Maggie Valley. Having five bedrooms was a definite plus for everyone and parking was easy. Things that need improvement are - pots and pans in kitchen have definitely seen their day, lighting up stairs over the pool table is very poor and lastly the front bedroom (1st floor could use a new mattress, when you lie down you roll towards the middle. Overall everyone was very happy with the accommodations and would absolutely use this property again.

The front porch is one of our favorite spots. The location is perfect. Some restaurants and shops are within walking distance. We are looking forward to staying again in 2024.
