Perfect family vacation!

The bedrooms were laid out perfectly for our family of 18. Having the pool so handy was the hit! We saw beautiful sunsets, peaceful lake mornings, & fun boaters, skiers, & jet skis from the pool deck.It was nice to have easy access to our host from beginning to the end. They were very responsive to all our questions & concerns.

grandson called it a mansion!

Beautiful home. Great view of the lake. Enjoyed the pool. For such a large house, a larger coffee maker would have been nice. Also kind of disappointing to not have dressers or nightstands in a couple of the rooms. But it was an awesome house, nicely decorated.

The house was awesome, our issue was when we arrived the fridge was not working. They provided another small fridge but with the extreme heat we had to make many trips for cold supplies and ice for coolers.

Amazing vacation

This house was amazing. Took 10 of my employees on our annual Labor Day weekend trip and this was by far our favorite place yet! Will definitely be staying here again!

Great place for family vacation.

We stayed here for a vacation with our children and 6 grandchildren, 5 of them age 4 and under. The house was big with a lot of open spaces for the cousins to run and play together. The pool is not very large, but it was perfect for our group. Beautiful view of the lake.

Beautiful view!

The house was beautiful and well equipped! The bedrooms were plenty and spacious. Having our own pool was an added bonus. The living room was set up perfectly for a large group. Would definately stay again!

The place was amazing.

The view was top notch. The kids/adults loves the pool area. Everything was exactly the way the other informs you. Easy entrance/exit. Communication was great. Highly recommend staying here.

What a view

Location in the Margaritaville Resort was wonderful with access to the resort pools. Views of the lake from the house and deck were wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked and home was clean. Host was responsive to any issues/questions we had. Plenty of room for our 15 family members.

OZ Lake VaCa

Overall good OZ lake property. Loved the resort integration with Margaritaville. Pool was great, great view, nice layout, ample parking, good updates to an older house. WiFi spotty, smart tv's didn't all connect, and could use a good cleaning. We had to buy our own grill, etc. Overall it served our group fine. Remember it is an OZ lake property and you will have a great time

Gorgeous views. Privacy. Convenient.

This property was perfect for our family vacation with 6 adults and 3 young children. First VRBO rental and was not disappointed. Layout was great for personal space. Pool is about 10x10 and so relaxing with plenty of outdoor seating. We were looking for privacy and this location checked the box. We rented boats (with tubes) and wave runners from Margaritaville Marina. Dined in 50% of time but multiple takeout restaurants very closeby. Owner was quick to respond to questions.

great weekend with friends!

we stayed at the house with two other families - there were 6 adults and 11 children, ages 3-10. the place was spacious and the owner was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. we would've liked to have a dock for the day we rented a boat but that wouldn't keep us from staying again, and there wasn't really any space outside for kids to hang out/play besides the pool, but we worked around that. a beautiful house with an incredible view!

Great view in the Ozarks

We loved a lot about the house, the view was great, the pool was nice but small, lots of space for everyone and everyone did get cooled off daily in the pool. Nice to also go to the big pool near Landshark at the Margaritaville Resort. The only negative we have is the upstairs stayed between 75-81 degrees the entire time we were there but it also was extremely hot mid 90’s during our stay so that might be partly why the air conditioning didn’t keep up well.

Perfect Family Gathering

Located in the Tan-Tar-A Estates at the Lake of the Ozarks this house is nestled in a secluded location perfect for a quiet place to have a break from life. PROs: Just about everything. The house had lot of new finishes including the whole kitchen, new W/D, bathrooms, flooring, and paint. The floor plan is perfect for multi-family gatherings. The 6 Bars with multiple bed arrangements perfect for kids and adults create a place of privacy with the 4.5 baths. The large open dining/living room offers a great space for community time. Multiple balconies and a screened in porch also offer unique spaces as well. The outdoor pool area with grill is fantastic. It’s nice to have a pool without the worries that lake swimming bring. The pool was clean and the surrounding deck had loungers and a full dining table for socializing. The other thing to take notice of is while this house is on the lake it is 20 foot above the lake. It has no dock/direct lake access. This was not an issue as we have no boat. The Margaritaville Reaort area was nice with pools, a water slide, and really friendly staff and bar tenders. A local fishing guide picked us up right at the Resort Marina and one group in our family went horseback riding on site. I would definitely stay here again 100 times.

Family reunion

We had 16 people ranging from 3 to 70. The house was perfect for the size of our group. The view was fabulous and the pool was a hit. Everything was perfect except that during a rainstorm at night, the rain come into the bedroom above the sliders to the deck as well as by the front door. That caused us only minor inconvenience, but needs to be fixed. The only other suggestion I have is to provide a card table so the whole group can eat together. We could only fit 12 around the table. Overall the place was wonderful and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful, large home with stunning lake views

Our family was very impressed with this home! Very clean, spacious, had a full kitchen with lots of amenities. Absolutely loved the lake view - one of the best features of the home. Bedrooms were large and comfy, nicely decorated and had a modern feel. Lots of extras like pool towels, pool noodles, games etc. The pool, while small, was great for cooling off and relaxing. Just note there is no shallow end - approximately 6ft or so - just something to be aware of if you have small kiddos. Communication with Dovile was fast and helpful. Lots of great restaurants and things for kids to do in the area. The community is right next to Margaritaville, and we enjoyed exploring that area. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay in this home! We were very pleased and would highly recommend this property to others!

This house has fantastic views within the Tar Tar Resort area. I noticed reviews that the skylights created heat upstairs, but we didn’t experience that even in the hot Aug 2024 weather. The pool is small as others noted, but great way to chill. Kitchen and laundry in same area and well stocked. We did have to buy a cheap coffee pot - they have a small Keurig machine. The house does need some updating, but my only real concern was the sliding glass door to the right as you walk in will not close properly to lock. They should fix or put a bar in to secure. Getting into Tar Tar can be interesting if the owner doesn’t give you the gate code. It’s open during the day and closes at around 5pm. You can still get into the neighborhood through the resort. There is a lot of restaurants and stores nearby- very convenient (might take a few days to get used to the crazy path to the house - it’s a beautiful drive however). We tried 2 places for boating - Margaritaville and Surdyke's Port 20 Marina. Surdyke’s has much better pricing if that matters to you - both friendly. The kid’s bedroom with the bunk bed is in between 2 bedrooms - weird, but if all family, no big deal. The WiFi is in the kids room - it’s not great, but it works (you may need to reset it). Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Rates went up this year so perhaps they did updates and fixed door.

DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS!

The house was big, comfortable and suited our 12 people. The pool was not at all like pictured. Very small pool, 5 feet deep, had to use ladder to get in and out, which I being 74, could not do. The rock steps getting down to pool deck were very treacherous. No umbellas, so it was very hot. The grill had seen better days. Had not been cleaned forever and caught fire, so we couldn't use. No bath soap. No kleenex. Only 2 dish towels. We were able to use the clubhouse pool. This house needs some slight maintaining. The area was awesome and we did have a great time.

Great View but Poor Home Condition

Carpet on stairs filthy- first thing you notice when entering the home. First floor dirty. Dishwasher broken entire week even when promised by owner it would be repaired. Kitchen cabinet door broken. Kitchen missing basic items- can opener, colander, kitchen towels, bake sheets. Not enough chairs for table. One of the chairs so warped it was not usable. Home updated & attractive decor but unfortunately not being maintained. The great view of the lake is offset by the several maintenance items needed.

Family Vaca

There are a few things that should be listed in the description of the property. The first being the steps to the pool. The set up with the master bedroom and the kids' room is very awkward, if you aren't immediate family. There isn't a door to shut off the master bedroom bathroom. It may be beneficial to cover the skylights, so it isn't so warm upstairs. I bought batteries for one of the TV remotes and also a 12 cup coffee pot. The Keurig wasn't working for us and the other coffee pot was tiny. The master bedroom also had the sliding door leaking when it rained. I was told to put towels down. The carpet was stained in that spot. Other stains in one of the bedrooms and the couch. Overall, we had a good time and had room to spread out. The owner was quick to reply.

Nice property, lacking some basics.

A group of us go annually to the lake for a fun weekend. This is the second time we have stayed at this property (the first was 2020). The owners have renovated the kitchen and all of the bathrooms, the renovations are beautiful and a HUGE improvement to our previous stay. When we arrived at the property, one of the bedrooms still had sheets wrapped up on the bed, which was not made. We had to wash those sheets and make the bed. The rest of the beds were made/put together. While the kitchen remodel is beautiful, the kitchen 'basics' are lacking. I realize this property likely is rented a lot with multiple people in and out of the home...but with that said, there should be an inspection in between rentals. The house had zero baking sheets (for biscuits), the can opener didn't work (the hand crank kind). There was a lack of overall utensils/standard kitchen items i.e strainer, etc. There was one extra trash bag in addition to the one in the trash can. Outside, the pool needed cleaned, which I understand as it is in a treed area however, the net was busted/ripped. We had quite a challenge trying to skim the pool. The grill was dirty enough to not use. It was beyond scraping the grids. Overall the house met all of our needs, large group, open floor plan, clean...and of course we had fun. There were just some 'basic' areas lacking given the amount of money for the property.
