What a lovely and spacious home! Room for everyone in our family. We enjoyed the hot tub - perfect temp and in excellent shape. The kitchen has everything one would need to prepare meals. Our favorite thing was the upstairs deck. Amazing views, but even more spectacular were our perfect seats for the July 4 fireworks at Inn of the Mountain Gods! Great communication with a lovely host - book this one, it’s a gem!

Spectacular Property

What a beautiful property in a wonderful neighborhood. The views simply cannot be beat. I was contacted by the owner first thing the day of our arrival and we remained in contact throughout the weekend. Mainly just sharing our “Thank you’s” and “You’re Welcomes”. Highly recommend.

Riudoso Hideaway

The house and location were perfect for our annual friends getaway. The house was comfortable and well equipped with creature comforts. The views are truly incredible and we enjoyed watching mule deer pass through the yard, adding to our serene experience. The owner was also very responsive and I would definitely recommend this home!

Million $ View

Our family has been going to Ruidoso for many years, and this is probably one of our favorite cabins. The view alone is worth every penny! We spent every morning and evening on the huge deck enjoying the scenery. Kitchen is very well stocked, and all beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return! Laura is a great host. She was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!!

This house was beautiful and the view is priceless, they have everything you need to cook for your family and be cozy in the house and the convenience of being close to all the shopping downtown. We got to experience a big snow and went skiing and shopping and took a day to relax! This will be a place we always will go back to, 100% recommend no matter age of the people in your party.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We enjoyed our trip so much. When we arrived it was snowing and the view was just beautiful. The house is very accommodating and we made ourselves right at home. There was 9 of us. All my kids and grandkids joined us for the trip. We cooked breakfast there most mornings. We also cooked dinner there as well. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to find things. The bathrooms were very nice and had heaters which was a plus. Also plenty of towels as well. The house is very clean. We love Ruidoso, NM but we have not been back in years since we moved to McKinney Texas it is a far drive. But my girls remember it from when they were just little kids and wanted to go back and let their family enjoy it as well. We made a lot of great memories. All of us were able to pet deer, seen squirrels, seen a baby chipmunk, and seen and heard turkeys right at the house. The grandkids thought it was something to pet and feed the deer. The kids also enjoyed the hot tub. The house is very close to Inn of the Mountain Gods and my son in laws went golfing one morning and all of us won money at the casino. The grandkids loved the arcades and paddle boats. We definitely will be back and maybe will come back in the summer months to enjoy horse racing.

Wow!

It doesn't get any better than this! What an amazing place. This was our first time using VRBO so was a little nervous about the transaction and being able to communicate with the host but everything turned out perfect. The booking through VRBO was an easy experience with no problems. The hosts for this location were amazing, always quick to answer questions about the house. The house is in an amazing, quiet neighborhood. All of the pictures live up to the actual house. Perfectly clean, with plenty of cleaning supplies to keep it that way. Definitely would recommend it to friends and can't wait to go back =) Thank you so much for sharing your lovely house.

Excellent view of the Sierra Blanca Mountains

View was excellent. Perfect setup for family with children. We all enjoyed the family of deer that would visit every evening.

Best views!

You want to wake up to this view from the master bedroom! Large home with beautiful, cozy furnishings and fully stocked kitchen. The Wii sports in the living room and the ping pong table in the garage provided fun entertainment for all the teens! We also enjoyed being on the quiet street which was perfect for evening walks. Later we would sit on the deck watching the sun sink behind the mountain range. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Fabulous Home in Ruidoso!

We had a fantastic 7-night stay at this house. We were a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The beds were very comfortable. The house is very well stocked for cooking (we cooked almost every meal) with pleny of dishes, silverware, etc. We did stock up at the grocery store and bring a few things with us such as foil, plastic bags, saran wrap, etc. as those things are not provided. The only thing we forgot to buy / bring was cooking oil or olive oil, which we wish we would have had. The refrigerator / freezer combo were top notch. We used the hot tub daily, which was very easy to use and we used the grill one night as well, also well maintained and easy to use. There were plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. One of the best stocked houses I have every stayed at! The view at each level of the house was fantastic and the patio furniture was very comfortable. We had space for everyone outside. Also, the house is well stocked with games for family fun. We absolutely loved the deer that would come up to the house and we took advantage of the deer food in the garage (probably too much) as the deer would eat out of our hands. We all had such fun interacting with the deer everyday. It was a really special treat for us city folk! Couple of other tid bits: We traveled around the area to Fort Stanton, Lincoln and Capitan and enjoyed all of them. The kids went to Pillows Fun Track and LOVED it. That was also top notch. We rode horses at Grindstone Stables, also very well done. For anyone who is working remotely, in the master bathroom (strange I know), there is a built in desk with a plug not far off and I used that area to work when the kids and other adults were in the house. The Wifi worked beautifully, even with multiple devices running at one time. We ate at Casa Blanca one night for mexican food and the service was amazing and the food was great too. For the owners: Simply amazing house! We loved it and can't wait to come back. The smoke alarm went off on our last night but stopped almost immediately and beeped a bit after that. We couldn't actually pin point which one it was so you might want to do a battery replacement. The dishwasher might need to be looked at as we had to wash some of the dishes a few times.

What a killer view! Beautiful location and safe neighborhood. Provides all the enjoyments of alpine nature with none of the drawbacks. The house was beautifully furnished and spotless. Beds were comfortable imo. Thanks for the free coffee! Enjoyed it while gazing out at the mountains from the balcony. Very cool that a ping pong table with balls and paddles were provided as a bonus! Will definitely want to stay again. One point of advice though: Provide a few more blankets in the closets and armoires; just in case it gets a little chilly at night for some.
