Beautiful, well-kept property and exceptionally thought out amenities. Hosts were so friendly and helpful and did so much to make our stay comfortable and run smoothly. We ran into some issues with my account access on the VRBO app prior to check-in and the hosts were so patient and helpful with troubleshooting. They went above and beyond. I had a fantastic, perfect weekend with close friends for a milestone birthday and this property exceeded all expectations. Can not recommend this house enough. And can’t wait to go back,

This house was exactly what our friend group was looking for for our annual reunion gathering. It has all the modern amenities, upgrades and comforts but still retains all of its rustic feel. there was a mountain of firewood for the outdoor firepit and the two indoor wood stoves. plenty of pots, pans, dishes etc in the kitchen. and comfortable sitting areas to gather. just a short drive to harper’s ferry, hikes, brewery. and leigh was great to work with and very responsive. can’t say enough good things about the house.

The house, grounds, furnishings, and guest house were gorgeous - beautifully decorated, well-appointed, and super clean. The owners/hosts were incredibly kind and responsive when we had a question. The location was lovely - we particularly enjoyed the fire pit and the pool/hot tub. 100% recommend!

Great stay in Harper’s Ferry

We stayed here for spring break and our kids loved it. They enjoyed the pool and making s’mores at the firepit so much. It’s a great location. We would definitely return. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. It had the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on in a rental house! Our kids are still talking about this house and our spring break trip.

Beautiful house for family holiday

We booked this beautiful home to celebrate our son's first Christmas and it couldn't have been more perfect! The owners have done an incredible job in making a home that feels secluded. The hosts were very communicative and the house is well-stocked with amenities. Would gladly stay here again!

Great time!

The house is wonderful, large enough for a family get together with our 2 children and their spouses. The house is well equipped, lovely decorated and the wood stove adds a nice touch for the chilly winter evening. We had a great time.

Relaxing, rustic getaway

This was a wonderful experience. Leigh has thought of everything a guest might need and is wonderfully responsive both before checkin and during the stay. We particularly enjoyed the pool, pool table, and large basketball court. There was plenty of room for our extended family get-together. You'll feel so relaxed and peaceful sitting around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and watching the deer that come by frequently!

Beautiful Property

The experience at 1805 Farmhouse was fabulous. We had comfortable accommodations for our large group. The decor was outstanding looked like pictures from an Architectural Digest magazine. Bathrooms are beautifully done, all are new. The property needs some upkeep but can be expected for a 219 year old farmhouse. Overall great experience. Highly recommended!

Family Rendezvous

This house is the perfect place for family bonding. Our extended family came together from NJ, FL, VA, MD and NC. The original intent was to check off a Bucket List item to hike 20 miles on the AT. That was accomplished but the real reward was enjoying all the house amenities afterwards. Lounging in the heated plunge pool was great for the tired muscles and then sitting around the fire pit for everyone to share their experiences on the trail brought lots of laughs and commiserating!

Farmhouse is perfect !

The house and property were absolutely perfect for our group. Lots of privacy, the renovations are very well done. All technology is top of the line and works as expected. The pool, or in our case hot tub, was even better than we expected. It was used both nights we were there. The barn apartment is a wonderful place for some additional privacy from a large group, and is extremely comfortable. We would recommend this house 100%.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse! There was a space for every mood and interest- hanging by the pool, reading on the porch, listening to music in the den. This home was particularly suited to our family. My three sons stayed in the barn studio and had space to spread out or work remotely when necessary. Our married son and daughter-in-law had their own private suite over the den.Great fire pit with plenty of wood. Grill was clean with spare propane when needed. The location was central and easy to access vineyards, restaurants and tubing on the river. This property is charming, classy and comfortable. Our hosts Leigh and Corey demonstrated sincere interest in our comfort and having a good experience.

Family Vacation 2024

We were looking for a place to accomodate our family group of 11. This property was perfect! Everyone had their own suite with a full bathroom. The plunge pool was perfect for relaxing after a hot afternoon at the National Historial Park. The fire pit provided the laid back end to the day! We all enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rockers for our morning coffee. We even got to see a family of deer while we were in the pool.

Charming

It is a lovely old home and converted barn that is beautifully decorated. The owners were easy to communicate with and responsive. They work hard to keep a good rating and it shows. The house was not quite as secluded as I expected but this didn't impact our enjoyment of the property. It was a very relaxing week that included trips to Harper's Ferry, hikes, and brewery visits.

Wonderful place to make great memories!

What a quaint yet very spacious location this was. The owners thought of EVERYTHING so that we can focus on spending quality time with our family. The decor was darling and masterfully executed. The location was perfect- 10min to a grocery store- food lion & walmart and close enough to Arlington Cemetery to visit my brother-in-law who passed while serving our great country. The heated plunge pool was wonderful as well! The property manager as well as the owner were very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We are grateful to have found this place and will not hesitate to spread the word. Thank you guys for making my father-in-law's 80th birthday a special one.

We are your Perennial Stays hosts, Leigh & Corey. We're from Baltimore and have been married since 2010.

By day, Corey is an engineer, and Leigh is an accountant. In 2015, at the recommendation of some friends, we decided to earn a little extra money by renting out our primary residence in Baltimore while we traveled. We enjoyed it so much, we decided to branch out to our first property in West Virginia. In 2018 we purchased our second property in West Virginia – the farmhouse! Finally, in 2021 we decided to expand to beautiful Lancaster, PA!

Leigh loves the design, hospitality, and marketing aspects, while Corey enjoys hunting for houses, renovations, and operations. A perfect match!
