Great memories

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice and clean upon arrival. Office was very great to work with all codes were correct and gear in the closet to use. When they say the basics are all that is given they are very accurate. Shampoo is enough for one hair wash and pods for laundry and dishes are counted out do pack what you need.

8th visit to Maui

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 8th visit to Maui and have always stayed in various condos at the Hale Kamaole. The unit has some dated aspects (carpet on the stairs and not as updated bathroom) but in general it was fantastic for us. The best feature was the loft air conditioning. The amenities provided for use at the beach etc were a little lacking- one broken and one functioning folding beach chair and very little snorkelling gear but the view from the lanai cannot be beat. Had a malfunction with the dishwasher and maintenance were there in minutes and had it fixed. As well they fixed a loose toilet. Super great service from them. The grounds and pool were impeccable as always.

Family with 3 teenage boys

The location was great. We walked to food and beaches every day . Pretty quiet unit, great view of sunsets and Kam 3. The unit itself was well equipped but very dated and not as thoroughly cleaned as it could be. Mostly vents and fans need dusting. A/C worked really well and beds were comfy. The annoying thing is the parking pass. You can't check in until 4 and the office closes at 5. We got there after 5 but left early the next day to do the Road to Hana. We got back after 5 again and got a note left on our car that night. We left early again because that's the kind of active vacation I drag my family on. We were finally able to connect with the office on our second day. It isn't the unit owner/manager's fault, but it is an annoying policy.

Everything was clean and comfortable, easy to feel at home! I would definitely stay there again, especially with a family. Really close to Wailea and easy access to the highway. Space was comfortable for 6 of us. 2 beds upstairs (one in bedroom and one in loft) with a bathroom. One bed and bathroom downstairs. The lanai had bird poop on the railing so it was uncomfortable sitting outside and having to look at it. The pull out couch bed had a bent frame, so 1 of the kids couldn't sleep on it. Maintenance came and looked at it and said they could try to fix it. Unit was dated with old linens and stained sheets.Overall, great location and view. The space met our needs.

Owners need to update the mattress/frame in the mainfloor bedroom and the sofa bed mattress is awful! Not suitable for a kid to sleep on. There was also no blankets for the sofa bed mattress. Lanai closet was fully stocked, so important, and there were plenty of towels. Some cleaning supplies would also be helpful for those of us who stay long. A decent broom/dustpan to help keep sand cleaned up!

Amazing location and ocean views from balcony!

Condo was clean and great location across from beach. Morning coffee on balcony watching whales and dolphins! Great location at quieter end of strip yet close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. Walked down and rented paddle boards for a few days- early morning paddles on the ocean. Beautiful!

Short walk to beach, fit all of us, 2 adults and 4 teens. Couple things were a little dirty, fans need cleaning, however it is a beach home. Close to walking to resturants and beach.

The views from the lanai and the proximity to the beach and amenities are so great. This is our 4th visit to this property. The units are showing their age. This particular unit was short of a few essentials (tea towels, toilet plunger) that we borrowed from the office. There were an unusual amount of small bugs all over the counters and walls. The air conditioner in the master bedroom upstairs did not work for the last few days of our stay. I would recommend this property, but not this particular unit. The grounds, pool, bbq areas are all meticulously maintained.

Location was great. Perfect for walk to the beaches. Property was ok. We are used to 5* and i would rate it 3*. All in all families had good time so i cant give a bad review. Would have wanted to know about the scheduled maintenance on Property before i booked this trip, would have chose somewhere else instead.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was lovely, apart from the weather not exactly cooperating. The unit was equipped with most everything we needed. Lots of dishes and pots etc. Just missing some dish cloths to wash the dishes. And the cheese grater is broken. The couch needs to be replaced and the bed downstairs isn't great. Also you should look at the dryer it takes forever to dry a load. The location was great, we got to watch the marathon runners go by early in the morning and could watch the sun set on the lanai at night. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. Would definitely stay again.
