Lovely Neskowin Cabin

Lovely Neskowin cabin, our only issue was that the dishwasher was broken upon our arrival but other than that, very nice.

Amazing stay!

We had a great stay. The rooms were spacious and with separate thermostats everyone was able to sleep at their best temperature. The living room was large enough for several conversations at a time, or one big one. The kitchen was well equipped except a shortage of forks. I would definitely stay here again.

Kami house

We like this house for our family and beach access. However there were 4 light bulbs out and one over the stove had been out since March . It took 2 days for the bulbs to be replaced.

Nice stay but misleading pictures

We had a decent stay. The pictures posted on the site are misleading. They look like they have been photoshopped as the house wasnt as new and fresh as the pictures portrayed. Also the deck is not up high though it looks that way in the pics & the wood is rotting and starting to fall apart. The house could use some love, it’s been maintained but could use a refresh. Despite that we had a good time, rooms and kitchen are good size, and the living room den was perfect for family time.

Disappointing

VRBO: Kami’s Beach House - Neskowin, Oregon Reservation #8033268. September 16-19, 2022 We selected this rental because is appeared to be spacious for a family celebration marking our 49th Wedding Anniversary. *A The pictures on the website appear to be spacious, but in reality are smaller. *B When we arrived and opened the door we were met by a cold musty home with very strong smells of dog urine in every room and on the hard surface laminate flooring. * The carpet on the stairs leading to the second floor was so strong it was nauseating. *C There were animal smells in two of the three bedrooms upstairs. The bedroom with two double beds in it had poop stains in the carpet in front of the dresser, approximately 15” in diameter as well the same stains between the two beds 6-8.”*D The bedroom with the two twin beds was cold, musty and smelled of mold. The house was not properly described as two full baths, having only one full bath upstairs. *E The bathroom on the first floor is at best only a half bath with a small shower and a toilet. * One would have to go into the laundry room to wash their hands in a stained and moldy laundry tub. *F Above the tub on the ceiling are large areas of black mold, approximately 8-9” and 15-18”. I am convinced the moldy smell in the bedroom directly above is attributed to that mold in the laundry room. *G This black mold needs to be reported to health department and be remediated. Four members of my family had to leave after spending only one night. The ratan wrapped chairs at the table are in poor and dangerous condition because they were rusted, and have many sharp edges on the arms. *H I slept in the bedroom on the first floor and could not sleep under the covers. There were many long black human hairs of varying length on the sheets. *J The sheets are old and have numerous rust colored stains as you pulled the covers back.*K The outside deck is in general disrepair as there are many spots that are rotten and hard to avoid as you walk. There is also a seating bench on the deck and that bench was not safe to sit on in spots. *L The carpet throughout the house is long overdue to needing replacement. *M As it happens, a relative of the owner came by as we were on the porch on Saturday afternoon and said if there was anything that needed to be fixed to let him know. They live in the home next door. Obviously the owners have not been inside the home in a very long period of time. On Tuesday, September20th, I co

Cute house, need new mattresses

This house is cute and the kitchen provides all the great cooking essentials. My concern is the mattresses are really old and not comfortable with the exception of the king bed. Providing good mattresses is important to me especially with the cost of 1800 dollars for 3 night stay. There was also a bat in the house we had to catch and put outside, not too big of a deal but a little bit stressful. This is a nice house and with new mattresses it could be so much better.

Cozy, pet friendly, close to the beach and equipped with all you need!!

We had a very relaxing and wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We brought our 2 frenchies, 2 adult children, my sister, my husband and I. Roomy enough for all of us. Kitchen was packed with any and all things you would need to cook a home meal. Just a block from the beach! No issues at all with the rental company and had great and promising communication when needed. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great Beach Access

My adult family of 7 plus 1 infant stayed 4 nights. It’s an older home with a lot of character in a very good location. Walking to the super close beach access was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and it was comfortable. We would definitely book again.

Comfortable and well equipped

Comfortable and well equipped for a friend or family group, although the downstairs bathroom is minimal. Upstairs bathroom is dated but linens are all well supplied. Location in Neskowin is well situated although a block and a half from the beach. The rental management company is slow to respond to inquiries.

Great location, open floor plan, quiet road

Perfect location on a quiet Street in neskowin town. Very well stocked house. Would go again and recommend. Furnished are dates but the house is spacious and perfect for bring in laws to stay down stairs.

Fantastic location

Property could have been cleaner. Poor response requesting early occupancy... like none! We found the memorial to owners daughter a bit of a downer for a vacation rental.., especially since we had 16 year old granddaughter who’s name is Kami K with us.!

Retro in Neskowin

Nice house in a good location in Neskowin. Furnishings are dated, but a fun, retro look. Kitchen reasonably equipped. Pots, pans and knives could use replacement. Living space lay out was comfortable, as were the beds. We will return. The only negative was the poor (literally none) communication from the property manager, Meredith Lodgings.

close to the beach and cozy

We enjoyed our stay. The house is nice, a bit dated, however served us well for a few nights stay. the bedrooms nice , kitchen had everything we needed, and the back porch was nice to have a table to sit at and eat dinner or just hang out. over all a cute and cozy house and affordable. love neskowin beach too!

Perfect Escape

Was about to “celebrate” my first Mother’s Day since my Mom passed and was filled with absolute dread about it. My daughters suggested we get out of town for a girls weekend and do something different. Thank goodness we found this perfect little cottage for an absolutely PERFECT weekend!
