Our family of five adults and a two-year old toddler spent a week at this property. We had a wonderful time. The property was every bit as advertised, with ample bedroom space, a large and welcoming family area, dining room and kitchen. The house sits literally feet from the water and activities ranging from swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing are all at your finger tip. It was quite hot the week we were there, but the window A/C units in the downstairs space plus two upstairs bedrooms kept us comfortable--and except for one night the temperature dropped nicely anyway. We would definitely stay here again, with two quite minor caveats: first, the presence of the town beach a few hundred yards away was nice for our toddler, but also ramped up the noise factor as large numbers of people enjoyed the community beach; and second, while we had ample privacy, this is not a secluded property as the house sits on a cul-de-sac with several other properties, two of which abut this location on each side. This proximity was not obtrusive, but you knew you were part of a neighborhood instead of in a sequested retreat location. Not a bother for us, but worth knowing.
One final word. Josh, the owner, was quite responsive from beginning to end, and made the details of our stay quite simple.
