My party (including our 1 yr old pup) were attending a late-July wedding at the Kirkwood Resort and were happy to find this nearby condo that was per friendly.
Location within the resort was perfect, very walkable. The beds were very comfortable. The complex as a whole shows its age (e.g. cosmetic damage to walls, older fixtures, luggage racks falling apart, etc), but we didn't stay indoors much. We were visiting in the off season, so almost everything was closed. The condo itself is carpeted throughout (except the kitchen and wc/shower area) which struck me as odd from a housekeeping/cleaning standpoint but I'm sure helps keep the place warm in peak season.
Property owners were very responsive to messages. They even gave us a heads up on a maintenance issue the previous tenants discovered that unfortunately would not be seen to in time for our reservation. So the heads up was appreciated.
I would say our only negative experience was that there was A LOT of construction going on during our stay. Lockboxes were attached to a 2x4 laying on the ground near the entrance. Lots of debris around street side of the building. Construction materials were piled in the reserved parking stall right next to ours and had me nervous that something would fall over onto our rental. The underground garage was left open during the day. Construction, both at the property across from us and ours often started at 7am with loud machinery and hammering. This led to some rude awakenings and made us close the windows first thing in the morning. I understand that off season is the least disruptive time for this work to be completed, but it would have been nice to have had a warning. I'm sure visitors will enjoy the exterior facelift during peak season.
Bottom line it suited our needs for the few days we needed to be onsite.
