Generally speaking, this property and this company were both very nice. I wouldn't recommend against it, necessarily, but there are a few things worth noting, just as a heads up for anyone considering it: First, the refrigerator made a loud, irritating "percolating" noise whenever it was cooling that could be heard throughout the house. If you have a low tolerance for that sort of thing, I recommend finding out if they've had the appliance repaired or replaced before signing. We called it in and they sent out someone to take a look, who not only said that he couldn't fix it, but that it wasn't the first time he'd gotten the call, so they aren't exactly scurrying to resolve the issue, apparently. Next, keep in mind that the hot tub runs periodically throughout the night and there's no way to turn it off. Two of the three bedrooms are just inside the wall from it, so it can be a disturbance. The hot tub has its own issues, like the control panel has seen better days and the light doesn't work, but as far as heating and jets and cleanliness go, it gets the job done. Finally, there was an issue at checkout: While they told us that we had until 10 AM, someone showed up at the property and started hosing down decks before we left, and was very rude when he was asked to hold off until our things were out of the way. Not only that, but they changed the door code a full 20 minutes before 10:00. Fortunately someone was still inside. If that had not been the case, our dog or our things might have been locked in and, since there's no one in the office on Saturday, it could have been a very serious problem. We were lucky. Beware that this may happen to you, as well, so it might be a good idea to leave the door propped open if you're cutting it close to checkout time.
That's it! It's a lovely little neighborhood, the house was otherwise clean and charming.
