Great country retreat

We have stayed at the Flame Tree Chalet twice, it’s peaceful, private, great views of the country side and a short drive from Maleny. We will certainly be back again.

Birthday Getaway Weekend

My partner and I had a beautiful stay. Bev was great, very clear in all details and everything was absolutely beautiful, nice and clean everything you could ask for and super close to maleny. The view was spectacular. Thank you, we will definitely be coming back again.

Very beautiful setting. The bedroom with ensuite has a very nice view of some of the glass house mountains. Well equipped with a smart tv although the Bluetooth on the additional stereo system seemed semi malfunctional. (Wasn’t an issue because we ended up using the tv instead) Very kind for a little bit of firewood to be provided. The fold out couch is double in size and apparently quite comfortable.

Highly recommend

It was raining and very windy when we were there so we couldn’t take advantage of the veranda and fire pit which was disappointing as both looked very inviting. The Chalet was very clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the Glasshouse Mountains and surrounds. We will definitely come back again. Hopefully the weather will be much kinder to us next time. Except for the weather we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Location

Only stayed the two night but a wonderful place to use as a base to explore Maleny and surrounding areas. Then in the afternoon sit back on the deck and enjoy the serenity.

Overpriced

Lovely view and location. However, the furniture and beds are old, there is little attention to detail, windows leaking and some kitchenware was dirty. The outdoor seating was unusable as it was soaked by a storm and left out with no thought to keeping dry. No fly screens. It could be wonderful with more effort but as is it is too expensive.

Great, bring repellent.

A lovely house and setting although we were surprised that there were no fly screens on any of the windows so we spent half the night in a bloody war with the many mosquitoes that had snuck in.
