Stay at Newfound

Overall it was a nice stay-need a new lock!!. Would be great if pillow cases were included since if you fly and rent a car you have to pack a whole suitcase for sheets/towels etc. Didnt like Trash needs a key for dumpster which is away from cottage - so at check out you return key to lock box and drive to dumpster - you need the key. Ugh! Over all cottage is ok but it rained several nights and porch is unusable as wind blows rain onto screened porch and soaks cushions on chairs-

Great Location with Adequate Accommocations

The location in Newfound is great and is close to our friends. The cottage is cute and about on the level of a 3 star hotel. We did reach out to the property manager several times with no response. The issues were minor. We may stay again.

Cute and great location

This studio was nicely refinished and perfect for a solo week-long getaway. I appreciated the screened-in porch in the evenings. The location was great, with a beach across the street, Wellington State Park a short drive, and many beautiful hikes nearby. The mattress, however, had a blood stain on it which I found repulsive. I would suggest bringing a mattress pad along with your linens.

Peaceful

We love Number 9 at the Bungalow Village! It is beautiful and has a great view. Clean and peaceful! Communication is awesome and we are hoping to book the same spot next year for one more day. We did not want to leave!

Just enough space to lounge in the morning before spending the day outside enjoying the area!

Owner was very easy to contact when we wanted to get in one hour early. Place was clean and what a view!

Cute little cabin!

The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed for our family of three during our five night stay. The views of the lake and mountains were beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. There’s plenty to do in the area. Check In/Out instructions were clear, making the whole process a breeze. I’d definitely book again.

Midweek stay

Great little cabin. Small but effective use of space. Comfortable. We were not sure what to expect but we were more than satisfied. beach was nearby but we were basically alone there…great screened in porch and quiet community. Newfound never disappoints!

Quite Summer Retreat

Such a cute cottage located in a great spot for summer fun and relaxing! Close to all area attractions but the best is waking up and sitting on the porch talking in all the views of New Found Lake. So clean and easy to get a hold of the host, who was very nice. Would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller space and located near the water. Thanks for having us- Hope to stay again!

The cottage was great with easy access to the lake, as well as local attractions. The space was very comfortable, clean, and inviting. Our stay was restful and relaxing, with quiet time spent on the porch overlooking a spectacular view. We hope to book again next year and commend the owner for making the process simple and stress-free.

Fabulous!

Had a fabulous time! Place was spotless and all appliances were so clean! A terrific place for the 3 of us to stay for a wedding we were attending at the Newfound Lake Inn!

Perfect Vacation!

This is an absolutely charming cottage with a gorgeous lake view! We had the most perfect vacation staying there! My grandfather used to rent this cottage many years ago, and we were very impressed with the renovations! A quiet and beautiful community, with nice neighbors, lake view and beach access! Can’t get any better than that! Thank you so much for such a great place to stay!!

Adorable cottage on Newfound Lake, NH

Very cute cottage, beautiful view of the lake from the porch georgious sunsets beach very close by swimming water sports biking all easy access. Expensive though for 2 nights, had to bring our own linens, no TV at all or internet so we read a lot.

Weekend away

We arrived and got in with no issues. When we got inside I noticed a couple of ants. No problem. Well then there were a couple more. Within the first 5mins of being there I killed a bunch of ants. Luckily they were black ants. This unfortunately continued for the entire stay. The cottage is close to a small beach. Close to a grocery store and a restaurant. The instructions in the book say to leave it clean for the next renter and to replace any paper towels and toilet paper that you use but they charge an astronomic cleaning fee. The cleaning charge is a little excessive considering most places charge less then half of what this place charged. This place is 300sqft and can be cleaned quickly. Good enough for a weekend away but would not stay longer then that. No a/c either so the day we arrived we opened the place up because it was boiling hot. We left for a few hours and it was still very uncomfortable when we returned. It finally cooled down by late night and was ok for sleeping.
