Great place for family gathering

Donna was prompt and easy to communicate with. The home was spacious and had plenty of space for us to hangout. The basement was a nice space for the kids to run around. As basements are, the basement felt damp and wet. There are also a lot of knickknacks in the home which made some of the space seem cluttered and as if the home is this families storage unit for things they have acquired but don’t want to give away. The home was clean but could use a deep cleaning. We found a lighter in between the sofa cushions and used soap bars in the drawers.

Best house ever!

We had such a great time at this house! Honestly, I was a little nervous that the house would be too small for the size of our group (14), but it was SO spacious! Especially the basement... it's huge. The backyard is gorgeous (the hot tub was awesome). We made plans to go to other places in the area, but I found myself just wanting to stay at the house. It really feels like a home! The landlord, Donna, is wonderful to deal with, too. Highly recommend.

Great Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed staying at this house. It was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. The house is in a quiet, very friendly community, wonderful for a little getaway. Also the property manager, not sure if she was the owner was very responsive and such a pleasure!

AMAZING STAY

Everything from beginning to end was superb about our vacay. Home had everything you could need, beautifully decorated, plenty of sleeping space. Just great! Will definitely rent again!

AMAZING WEEK

This house had EVERYTHING we could need/want for our vacation. VERY CLEAN home which is a plus for us. Plenty of towels bath & beach! LOVED the decor of the home. Everything just flowed. The basement for teenagers was definitely an added bonus while the adults could relax upstairs. Would rebook this house in a heartbeat. Donna was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Even allowed an early check-in & late checkout.

False Advertising of Property

This had to be the worst VRBO experience. When seeking an early spring getaway, this property looked ideal for what I was looking for...an outdoor kitchen with barbecue (I live in an apartment with no barbecue) , covered deck with outdoor gas heater, and a hot tub. Upon arrival, all of the outdoor furniture was strewn around the deck. The awning used to cover the deck was not up, nor was the outdoor seating area set up with cushions. The outdoor kitchen area had an additional barbecue, that wasn’t pictured in the advertisement, knocked over on the ground. When lifted back up, the entire inside including tasting bars and propane tubes were rotted and unusable. They basically fell to pieces. Therefore, I went to use the permanent barbecue pictured as a part of the outdoor kitchen in the advertisement. That too was rotten and unusable. Therefore, all of the food purchased for the barbecue was a waste. The outdoor gas heater needed during this time of year outdoors in the Hamptons was broken and not functioning. Therefore, I had to buy wood for a small fire pit that was placed outside. It cost me approximately $120 to buy small bags of wood to be used throughout my stay. When opening the refrigerator it had opened and used food in it along with drinks that were half full. There was used butter, cheese, salsa, ginger ale, etc. During COVID this is not the best practice in order to keep guests safe. I then tried to connect to the WiFi. Password supplied was incorrect. Manager provided me new password. At that time, I then had to reprogram all of the TVs and the thermostat as they all required WiFi access. While sitting in the dining room to share a meal with friends, I opened one of the draws in the cabinet located in this area to find a dirty pair of underwear. The candles pictured throughout the house we used up and not replaced. When checking in I spoke to the manager about the house not being set up properly, and her immediate response was that I could leave and obtain a full refund. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible. There was a dirty carpet laying in the shrubbery outside, broken fence posts, garbage in the planter along with cigarette butts. I could go on and on. Consumer beware. The pictures of this house do not match it in person.

All the amenities you need in a home away from home. Something for everyone in the family to use - hot tub, TVs all around, patio, kayaking! The host was very responsive and provided everything we would have asked for.

Lovely place

This home is very nice with just a few drawbacks. It is quite small, which you can’t really tell from pictures. An overall square footage would have been helpful. There is no en-suite bath. The one closest to the master is well done but very small. The second bath is nice and large. Amazing water pressure in both. On the whole there is too much furniture and it would be difficult for someone with physical challenges to move around with ease. King room is just that as the size of the room is really too small for such a large bed. A pet peeve of mine - and it’s totally personal preference - I don’t enjoy Keurig coffee. A regular pot would have been appreciated. The location on the canal is great and the back deck is awesome. On the whole a quality rental and I would recommend to others.

Perfect spot

We had a fabulous time at this great house on the canal. We were traveling to the Hampton’s to do a half Marathon and it could not have been more perfect. Location was central to all things Hampton’s!!!! Lovely spot and we would totally stay there again in a heart beat.
