Nice cabin in the woods

Clean, well-kept cabin about 12 minutes outside of town in a rural area. Very secluded and private. It was equipped with everything we needed including newer appliances. Owners were great at sending information ahead of time. We inquired about an additional nights stay and owners responded very promptly. Overall experience was very good.

Super location!

Beautiful property. Lacking in towels, and cleanliness. We had 10 guests and only 12 towels. With a hot tub, the need for extra towels was significant. Also 2 towels provided in kitchen and nothing to wipe the counters down with. Overall looking at the place it looked clean, but actually looking the floors were really dirty leaving white socks black. Kitchen was well stocked, and plenty of chairs, couches and games. Tried getting in touch with manager and never got a response. It ended up not being needed. Could use an update on sheets, they were pilled. Otherwise beds were very comfy. Best thing was it’s beautiful location, privacy and ample parking! We had a great time here.

We went over your feedback with the owner and wanted to follow up on the items you mentioned: - There are enough towels for the max occupancy of the cabin, and guests also have access to the washer & dryer - The owner lets guests know before their stay that they provide a starter kit of supplies, including laundry detergent, but guests will have to purchase additional supplies on their own - The owners were at the cabin before you and made sure to thoroughly clean & mop before your arrival. This is a cabin in the woods, so it is easy to track dirt and pollen onto the hardwood floors - Neither the local contact nor our team could find any missed messages from you, but we're happy to hear that you didn't need any assistance during your stay - The cleaners will go through the sheet sets to see if any need to be replaced Thanks for your feedback - we're confident that the owner will use it to continue to provide 5-star experiences for their guests!

Great getaway!

We absolutely loved this cabin and location! It was perfect for our group of friends to unwind and relax. The owners were very helpful and the cabin was very clean. Only one suggestion would be for more towels. If you are going to rent this place, make sure to bring beach towels because you will need them when you get out of the hot tub. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Nice area

When arrived the hot tub was leaking, wifi was horrible, unable to watch TV with out losing signal, shower on second floor leaked into main floor kitchen, the lower level was freezing cold with no heat, sauna didn't get hot or work properly, hot tub never got hot or worked properly, house was nice but amenities were not working as advertised, poor communication, no trash pick up when contacted the morning after Christmas. Unsatisfied with our stay.

Beautiful property; great communication!

The property is beautiful and the location is idea! The property owner was very prompt to respond! Only issue would be that we only were given 6 towels for the entire property and not enough bed linens to use on all of the pullouts/futon. The owner had linens sent over but never received any extra towels. A property this large should be stocked full of towels! We had a wonderful, relaxing stay & would definitely consider in the future!

Serenity

Cabin was hard to find down narrow winding road. Poor signage. Cabin was comfortable. Enjoyed the pool table, TV’s, board games. Was surprised to find pillows with no pillow cases. Did not enjoy traffic in pigeon forge and gatlinburg; felt like I was back in New York City!

Sunrise Mountain Lodge

Perfect cabin to have a nice getaway with friends. Plenty of space inside, great out door yard with fire pit. Susan and Josh were especially helpful leading up to check in as well as for checking out. Will definitely be looking to stay here again. Best cabin in the Smokey mountains.

Great Location

Cabin was in a great location, split in the middle between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Close the the grocery store. Yet still secluded. If you plan on cooking, you may want to bring some pots and pans. Only 1 large pot and 2 smaller ones, and a skillet. You can tell there was a quick turn around from guest who were there prior. Had some dishes that were put away still a little dirty. Had a few light bulbs out on the main balcony. The property manager fixed those the next day. Had some trash over the balcony on the ground. Floors creek bad when moving around, so there is no sleeping in . Especially if your on the bottom floor. Which is kinda expected with it being a log cabin. Arcade games are a little out dated. Pool table and theater room is where the the teens spent most of their time when at the cabin . Overall great trip and would definitely consider renting again.

Great family fall break!

We had 3 families with little ones ranging from 1 y.o. to 10 y.o. children. This was a great cabin to comfortably house all of us. The cabin was in a great location: secluded, yet very accessible to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge areas. We mostly stayed at the cabin and had full use of everything: theater room, sauna, hot tub, game room, and of course the fire pit outside. Kitchen was well stocked to cook breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The only issue for us was the microwave; the door was pretty damaged and felt like it was going to break off from just opening and closing. I did text the contact person and he let us know there were plans to replace it. But very easy fix for us, we just made popcorn the old fashioned way instead. This was not a big issue for our stay. Overall, great family cabin. Lots of room and entertainment. Definitely would not mind coming back!

Nice spacious cabin with plenty of amenities.

Overall the cabin was great. Nice size, ample room, plenty of games, tv options as well as pool table & arcade games. My only disappointment was the cleanliness, while for the most part it was great. I had to wipe down the leather couch that had spots all over it, and it seemed only the walkways of the flooring was the clean portion. Example the upstairs bedroom has some empty space and when setting suitcase down the dirt/dust went flying. Other than that, we absolutely loved the cabin, the location & amenities. Would definitely recommend the cabin to others. One last thing, could not find a wine opener anywhere in the kitchen.

Tennessee family trip

This place was good. The location was convenient to Pigeon Forge attractions. The cabin is somewhat secluded from other properties, which is a major plus in my book! The only complaints are that the hot tub was not full, which we were really looking forward to enjoying, and we found that the dishes/utensils were put away dirty, from their last use. The Hot tub was able to be filled, but there was not any chlorine. (This can create a cess pool for germs, and from past experience, we didn't want to chance everyone getting sick.) Other than that, it was pretty awesome and we would probably stay there again.

A great option in the Pigeon Forge area

The property is an amazing cabin and has lots of little features that are nice. To start with it has 3 livable levels all of which have a full size bathroom. The top level has an excellent size master suite along with the hot tub which can be accessed without having to go through the master bedroom-the master can be closed off so you don't disturb guests in there. Plenty of towels provided by the cabin make using it easy too. Also it is enclosed enough and high enough off the ground that privacy is not a concern-not that you are not right next to any other cabin as there are only a couple of cabins down the road away from this one. The main floor has the kitchen and main living area as well as a nice wrap around deck. The kitchen is a good size for the cabin and fairly well stocked. The living area is comfortable with a fireplace and a nice tv which is equipped with satellite tv with lots of channels especially sports channels which made it easy to keep up with football throughout the weekend. Probably the best channel selection of any place we have ever rented-also they have 4 receivers throughout the house-one upstairs, one on the main level, and two in the lower level-awesome! The lower level was our personal favorite-there is a pool table, arcade game, indoor sauna, movie room with 4 reclining movie chairs, and a deck with a swing and a table and chairs to eat on. Outside the cabin there is even a fire pit and charcoal grill. The location is about a 10 minute drive from the main strip-some might think that's too far away from the action but if you have never been to the area trust me you want to be able to get away from the crowds-traffic on that road looks and feels like rush hour in any major city. Sit in that for awhile and you need a vacation from your vacation which is why the peaceful location of this place works-also you can reach Food City without ever having to get on the main parkway. On another positive note, the owners use the Nest thermostat to control two HVAC units. They worked extremely well and the owners don't have them locked to a specific temperature range so you can actually get comfortable (unlike a beach rental last year). Check in was easy with plenty of communication from Evolve as well as even a personal email from the owner. When we go back to the area this will be the first place we check on for availability in the future. Great job guys!!!!!!!

review for cabin

The cabin was very nice, clean and accurate. However, The Hot tub leaked so bad that you could not sit on the rocking chairs underneath. or use the porch swing. The thermostat was something else. You set it on 70 degrees and it would be 85 degrees when you come back in the evening.I never received my directions from Evolve or anyone for that matter on how to get to the cabin. I had to call 3 different times. I finally received street directions and was told to google how to get there.I rent cabins all the time,and I have always received my directions. I was not pleased with this at all. The cabin itself is very nice, It is just the few things that I did not care for at all.When it is 108 heat index you expect to come into a cool cabin. you should not have to wait a couple of hours for it to cool down.

Joyce, we're so glad you found the cabin was clean and accurately advertised! However, we're sorry to hear there were a couple of unsatisfactory issues during your stay. The homeowners were unaware of the issue with the hot tub, but they have since had it repaired. The thermostat is a Nest learning thermostat that shuts down once it doesn't detect any movement, which is why when you left the cabin for an extended period, it didn't save your desired temperature. The owner will be leaving detailed instructions on how to operate the Nest thermostat, and driving directions to their "Welcome to the Cabin" email sent to guests before check-in.
