Just a 15-minute walk from the historic downtown and a 5-minute drive to stunning Rocky Mountain National Park you'll be surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. The small lodge is sited among large boulder outcroppings and 100 year old ponderosa pines. It is a resting spot for wildlife along the Fall River corridor.

As a traveler favorite, you'll enjoy the convenience of fast Wi-Fi /cable tv and the comfort of a washing machine and dryer during your stay. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher, allows you to prepare home-cooked meals, while the cozy living room provides a relaxing space to unwind and a wall-bed for additional guests.

After a day of hiking, return to your private patio, surrounded by large boulders/pines, with a gas grill, picnic table and outdoor furniture. The balcony, with awning, faces Old Man Mountain. Great place! Close to town. Easy to RMNFVery clean. We were both able to work too which made it sooooo nice! We always struggle with that when we travel. Love how quaint it is. Roomy enough for my hubs and “boho”-ish for me. Will be back!

Everything was great except so many flies. We didn’t leave the doors open and the screens on the windows seemed like they were in good shape. So don’t know how we had about 50 every evening. I have stayed in the area a lot and never encountered this before. I understand a few but this was a lot. I did not complain to host about it so don’t know if something could have been done if I had. Everything else was great !

We're so sorry to hear you had this problem, and that you did not contact the onsite manager. He would have remedied the problem. It is unusual. The screens are intact and recent guests have reported no issues. Glad to hear everything else was great.

The Bunkhouse at Old Man Mountain has been family owned since the 1980's. This western /contemporary one level cabin with 3 efficient guest units was designed by our father. In 2011, the family updated all three units and began sharing our mountain retreat as a cabin/guesthouse so others could enjoy the beauty of the property and its easy access to majestic Rocky Mountain National Park.

The Bunkhouse at Old man Mountain is a contemporary cabin that was designed to be a part of the landscape. The Estes Park location: a private 1-acre property with large boulders, blue spruce, ponderosa pine trees and wildlife. Across the street from the Fall River and Old Man Mountain - a native American spiritual site, you can walk to downtown, and just 3 miles to the Fall River entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.

A unique, efficient and well sited cabin designed by WC DeLaney, who studied under Frank Lloyd Wright, and is located in the heart of Estes Park. Privately owned and managed; there are no property managers, and you will notice the attention to detail!
