We stayed for three nights at the cabin with our seven children ranging from 8-22. The cabin is small, but we had enough beds for everyone. There are two bedrooms, and a bunk room with three large bunk beds. There is a full bathroom in the hall downstairs. The upstairs bathroom is laid out differently. The commode has a room. The shower has a different room, and the sink is in the bunk room. There is no WiFi. We used our cellular service. No washer and dryer. The satellite for the tv did not work. However, we loved the private grounds and the pond. The kids had fun running around outside (there is a play set nearby), and they liked hiking up the hill to see the lake view. During the day, local people come to the property to play frisbee golf. At night, the property is very quiet and feels remote and private. There are two balconies to sit and enjoy the views. You cannot see Lake Guntersville from the cabin, but you can drive (or walk if you feel up to it) up the hill and you will have a great view. There are three eagles nests within a short drive, and we enjoyed looking for them. The local birding photographers are very willing to help you spot the nests. The town nearby has a Walmart and a Publix and places to eat. We had a good time at this property. The booking and checkout process was simple and straight forward.
