Please remember Gsv trash day is only once a week and will pick up very early Tuesday morning. ALL TRASH MUST BE NEATLY BAGGED and placed in the cans in bin by road. Gsv will not pick up loose trash.
Please be sure to return the KAYAKS to the dock RACK. $50 fine for leaving them out. Please lean paddle boats against the tree. Please do not drag them on the ruff concrete.
Please do not flush anything but tissue down the commodes. We are on City utilities but because of the hilly terrain we are required to have a Grinder pump. A $3k fix

This lovely home is roomy with 3 en-suites and additional bedrooms allowing for lots of privacy for guests. It is situated on a secluded cove on the lake yet minutes away from shopping and restaurants. Bedrooms had comfortable beds along with televisions and the living room had comfortable seating for 8. There were bathrooms on all 3 levels and the water was instantly hot with excellent water pressure. We brought our boat and loved the convenience of our own boat ramp and large covered dock on the premises. The town of Guntersville was perfect for our family's vacation needs and wants. Could not have had a better experience!

Beautiful home. It's very close to the lake with a boat dock and pier to sit on. Paddle boats and kayaks. DoorDash delivers if you don't want to cook. The city harbor was fun and had great food and ice cream. You can pull up on the boat or drive. We had a great time! Would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation

Very nice area and wonderful location! We rented a boat, fished and went to the bat cave by the dam at dusk. Lots of great restaurants etc. Also went to Cathedral Caverns nearby and NASA Space Center in Huntsville. Wonderful trip with our family. You can tell this property was once a really nice home. However there was mold in all showers. Black mold on wall in downstairs bathroom and it has a musty moldy damp smell. Ants in kitchen and master bathroom. Sink in kitchen was already backed up on our first night. Went next day and bought Clorox and liquid plumber to try and fix problems. Old living room sofa has stuffing hanging out of the bottom and plywood underneath cushions. Mattresses are old. New sheets are nice but don’t fit the old mattresses. New pillows needed on all beds. Broken towel racks. VRBO license on wall is 2024. Carpeting on stairs is dirty and stained. Outdoor patio areas had cobwebs, dirty dining table and outdoor picnic table on dock had sharp edges. We have stayed at many VRBO properties in several states. Had good conversation with Becky. I feel the property manager and owners of this property are out of touch and don’t understand what people expect for the price they are paying.

Guntersville Lake Reunion

Had a family reunion in the Guntersville area because it was central for everyone traveling. The house was great for 9 adults with plenty of room to spread out and very comfortable furniture. Great location with easy access to shopping and dining. Will definitely look to stay here in the future.

Lake Guntersville Retreat

We had a great experience with this property. Check in was smooth and easy. The home was easy to find via GPS. The amenities were all that they could be from the host. It is located in close proximity to the state park and restaurants My 3 year old grandson loved the paddle boat. We would highly recommend this home to any family looking for a relaxing slow paced getaway or easy access to some of the best fishing in the United States.

Tremendous Time - Peace and Comfort

We brought our 55-Plus Group from church and it was perfect. We had a tremendous time and everyone slept well, very comfortable. Allowed for much fellowship and comradery. We recommend and hope to return. Becky the host was nice and responsive.

Father’s Day stay

The house is beautiful. We did have trouble with ants in the kitchen and in a couple of bedrooms. If you even bump the gas stove the gas comes on and fills the kitchen with gas. Scary. We loved the paddle boat and kayaks. That was lots of fun. We liked playing on the sandbar but couldn’t swim in the lake for the grass. All in all it was a great stay

Phenomenal Rental all around

We visit Lake Guntersville once a year for a long 4-day weekend, so we've rented a few different properties. This one was above and beyond any of the others we've stayed at. Absolutely beautiful house with a ton of top notch amenities. Waterfront with a great boat dock, amazing view, and plenty of beds for everyone to be comfortable. Becky reached out to me to welcome us and with a lot of great information. We'll absolutely be looking to come back. 5 Stars easy!

Love the Guntersville people / area!

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving week. Communication was excellent and the home is exactly as advertised. I would recommend you read all the reviews (both positive and negative) regardless of how old they are, as some things still hold true for needed overall home improvements. On the inside, the stand alone ice maker was very convenient, as well as the two (2) kitchens for the Thanksgiving meal....and you will need to bring body wash/soap, etc. On the outside, we all enjoyed the view along w/the use of the paddle boat, kayak, and firepit w/the supplied firewood! ...and when visiting Guntersville, venture out and visit the Cathedral Caverns (only 30 mins away)...for any NP friends, it was way cooler than Mammoth Cave NP!

Something for everyone

We had a relaxing week at the lake. The house accommodated 13 of us. We were able to give the families with the little children 2 rooms, which made it more comfortable. We fished, kayaked, rode in the paddleboat, had a firepit every evening, and watched football. It really was a great family home and we hope to return.

Beautiful Lake Home!

Everything about this place was wonderful. Plenty of room to spread out and/or gather. The host seemed to think of anything we might want for fun. Loved the kayaks and paddle boat! Thanks for a lovely time. Would definitely recommend.

Quality Comfort and Convenience

Our family reunion was a wonderful success. We have been doing this for 10 years and this house was the best. It was so comfortable for 13 people including an almost 3 year old. We enjoyed the paddle boat and the water and the weather was marvelous. We cooked and ate every meal in the kitchen, played games and just enjoyed each other. The stores were so convenient, this is a marvelous location. Thank you Becky for your quick communication and the cleaning crew were marvelous.

Family Forth

This house is in a beautiful location. Very convenient to everything, but when you’re at the house it seems like you are in the country. Only 10 minutes from a great little city, Guntersville. House is right on the lake and has a boat slip with plenty of room for everyone to lay out, or sit under a canopy. Upper and lower back decks on the house. It was a great place to have my devotion every morning, just outside my bedroom on the upper deck.

We designed and constructed both of our lake houses with our large Family in mind. We are delighted to share them with you. You will surely find how wonderfully accommodating these floor plans can be especially for large groups, familiar or unfamiliar. Although the yard is fairly level, If you have step issues, remember you can drive your vehicle from the front door to the water's edge.

Internet TV's in almost every room and free Internet. This location is marvelous. Wyeth is a coveted area of Lake Guntersville. Homes in this neighborhood are top of the market with mostly permanent residents. Yet this property is in a protected mountain cove with a boat loading ramp, dock, and natural sand bar for swimming, making it especially great for children with kayaks the paddle boats. You will be just 5 minutes from downtown Guntersville, by boat or car, to include restaurants and grocery stores.
