The condo was very clean and nicely updated! It was very close to the beach and had lots of fun amenities! It was very nice that they had some beach chairs and fishing poles for us to use! I would highly recommend this place to a friend!

Beautiful

This property was amazing. We could not have asked for a better location or stay! We say dolphins and mantees from the balcony and a wide variety of lizards and birds! The pool was amazing!

Not our first time to Land’s End...

We love Land’s End & sunset beach. However, we were very underwhelmed with our unit. It was very dated, which is fine, I knew that when I booked it. What I didn’t know was there was a mold issue in the master shower & overwhelming smell of mildew in the entire unit...like an old dank basement. Not good since 2 of the 3 of us have asthma.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great development at a fantastic location. However, the unit is outdated with old dishes and insufficient gadgets in the kitchen. In addition to be old and sometimes scratched - dishes were not clean either. We switched Colorado skiing trip because of need for flying with this FL trip where we could drive to. As previously noted, though, development and its amenity are great. So - we focused on positives.

What a beautiful condo!!

The people who left the negative reviews must have stayed at this unit prior to the renovation. During our stay in August 2023, the unit looked like it had just been renovated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt lucky to be one of the first ones to stay there. Everything in the unit looked high end and expensive, from the new countertops throughout the kitchen and the bathrooms, to the new cabinets, to the appliances, to the furniture. The unit was super clean and tastefully decorated with a minimalistic yet classy style. We loved that it was facing the channel vice the gulf side because you feel like you are literally right next to the water. The channel also had a little beach and we enjoyed switching between that and the beach on the gulf side. Check-in was quick and easy and the resort management folks were a pleasant to deal with. One thing I would note is that there is a restaurant across the channel that had live music playing until 10-11pm each night (later on weekends). This is, of course, was no fault of the property management, and it didn't hinder us from being able to enjoy the unit as much as we did.

Resort Rentals is a wonderful place to rent from.

Overall I would recommend Resort Rentals and Lands End, but not this unit. I wish I had called Resort Rental while I was there, instead I waited to talk to them the last day.

Needs work

Where to begin? I typically don't give bad reviews but people need to be warned. I can deal with less than perfect accommodations, but the master bathroom may have a mold problem. Above the shower the ceiling is discolored black. I have photos. Upon arrival I noticed a strange smell. I assumed it may be due to the unit being closed for a long period of time. I immediately opened the doors and windows to let in some fresh air. This helped a little but the master bedroom still smelled. The next morning after taking a shower and drying off I noticed something on the towel. It had a dirty area. Upon closer inspection it appeared to be mold. Disgusting. I then noticed all the towels in the master bath had the same discoloration on the folded edges. Again, I have photos. I no longer could force myself to use that room. Fortunately the main bath has a shower. Even with keeping the windows open as much as possible the smell returned. Luckily it was February and the temperatures ranged from 50 through 77 degrees so the air conditioning wasn't necessary. Due to Covid, I was traveling with disinfectant sprays and wipes which were helpful in removing the stale smell from the air, albeit temporarily. I won't repeat the other reviewers comments but I found them to be accurate. Overall, I cannot recommend this unit. It is a shame because it has potential if the proper work were to be preformed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at Lands End this year. We stayed in building 3 in June. The beach, pool, and hot tub are near by with pool between condo and beach so you can go back and forth easily depending which you prefer at the moment. Its a security gated community with cameras and they make rounds so you are safe. For food and drinks you will need transportation. There is live music across the water way until 10 pm. Its 15 minute drive to actually go there though. It's nice to sit on the balcony waterside and listen to the music at the end of each day. The unit is clean and has all the pots, pans, and dishes you would need. There is also grills if you want to make burgers or dogs beside the shuffle boards. The door jam was a little tight making key entry difficult. Had to get the key turned all the way to the right and pull back on the door. Resort Rentals said they would have someone check it out. The condos are at the end of beach before the water way so beach isn't very crowded because you can only enter from one side. Board walk had some damages on one side from the recent tropical storm but that was already under repair. You can see dolphins and fish from the balcony swimming. Nice vacation spot and sunsets on the beach are amazing. Only recommendation I would make is car for transportation outside of condo area which we did on both visits.
