My family loved this beautiful home on Canyon Lake! Plenty of space for privacy for three generations when needed but also tons of great gathering space. Five stars for sure, but only gave four for description because the picture of the lake from the deck is obviously very out of date. Not the homeowner’s fault though that the lake is low, and luckily the property does still have direct access but it is quite an effort to get down there. No way my 78 year-old father-in-law could have done it.

The Happy Owl was lovely. Accommodations overall very nice & easy. I wish the deck had been cleaned before we arrived and the hot top was open. It was a gorgeous evening on Friday. There were no instructions on how to unlock the hot tub so I would consider it, not as featured. Location was okay easy to get to. We felt the neighborhood was run down.

Beautiful property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. The property is located right above the water which gives access to a backyard water playground. Really had a great time.

Lovely lakeside home

Loved our stay in this gorgeous home!!! The space was well thought out and loved the lake access. So wonderful to have the hot tub right there too. The sunsets are spectacular. Highly recommended!

Fantastic spot

30th birthday weekend

The house was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate a 30th birthday! Plenty of room for everyone and great patio. We were able to enjoy being outside and not feel crowded anywhere in the house. Definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful house overlooking the cove. Pictures do it justice. Had five people: 2 adults, two teenagers and a pre-teen, and all loved it and will look to stay here again.

it was wonderful and a beautiful home. I just wish that the pictures on the Vrbo were more accurate as we needed a beautiful Lake as our backdrop so that was disappointing but I know that’s not necessarily your fault but you should be honest about the lake level. great house

Spectacular View

I’ve stayed at many different rentals. This one by far was one of the nicest. It was beautifully decorated and accommodated our family of eleven very well. The view of the lake was spectacular. The amenities provided by the owner we’re better than expected. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Happy Owl Lakehouse.
