While we are pleased to hear that you found many aspects of your stay enjoyable, we regret any difficulty you experienced with accessing the beach from the property. Regarding the walkway to the beach, we want to assure you that our team regularly evaluates the condition of all pathways on our properties to ensure they are safe and easily navigable. However, we acknowledge that terrain and natural elements can present challenges, especially for guests with mobility concerns. We apologize if the walkway did not meet your expectations during your stay. Hi Helen, thanks for your feedback. These things have all been rectified. The screens are fixed, the dryer had a new part replaced, the treet was down due to storms but was cut up and removed and our handyman attended the property to place new rollers on the dishwasher. So your next visit to Oceanside will be all this and more! We've even got a brand new fire pit!

Hi Anna, it's such a great property in such a fantastic location right on the beach isn't it?! we're aware of the screens on the main sliding doors, these are currently being looked at however are extremely expensive to repair and replace, so until we can get them sorted out we have to ask guests just not to use them and just use the glass sliding doors to go in and out. The many large windows at the property are really more of a professional window cleaning job (as they are so high up) which we schedule a couple of times a year, being right on the beach they can get quite salty etc. the cleaners have been working on cleaning the windows that they can physically get to and reach. We will certainly suggest to the owner a few more pedestal fans may be required. The check in and check out times did change not long after you made your booking as during the busy season our cleaners require more time to be able to get all the properties complete, especially with multiple bookings and back to back bookings at the properties, so apologies if you received a change of times, but our staff as you mentioned, did work with the housekeeper to accommodate the earlier and later times for you. The girls will always do what they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible if you ask them.

Hi Leonie, so glad you loved Oceanside, you'll have to come back again and stay longer! The dishwasher is a funny one, it seems a lot of people find the fancy buttons hard to figure out, please call us next time so we can help you out. the chandelier is unfortunately just a decorative piece and doesn't light up. There are two ovens available for warming food top one is actually a microwave, this info is listed in the guidebook for the property. We can certainly pass on your thoughts regarding the spaces to hang towels and clothes. Thanks again

Hi Michael, we didn't get any communication from you in email or text regarding these issues during your stay. However since then the property has been thoroughly cleaned, also window cleaning. We haven't had any complaints about the bunks since they were looked at. This property is not listed as having air con so this should not be an expectation. Keep in mind the property is right on the beach with sea breeze if you open windows etc, also pedestal fan available.

Hi Chris, thanks so much for your review. We did have a bit of wild weather then, the BBQ is now working fully. It's hard to have a bad time at Oceanside isn't it, what a spot! Glad you enjoyed it despite the few hiccups

Hi Amy, unfortunately during this busy period with back to back bookings and a shortage of cleaners due to covid and job seeker- we had to extend the time frame to allow the cleaners enough time to complete multiple properties and have them ready for guests. This change in check in and check out times should not be a reflection on this property as it is across the board with all properties. BBQ'S should be cleaned by each guest after use. If they are not or there is something that is not to your satisfaction, please let us know when. you arrive or when you first notice this so we can try and have it fixed up for you.
