We had a great stay here. It had a good amount of space for what we needed and we loved that it was a pretty short walk along the road to a really cute beach. We used the screened in porch almost every night- and it came in handy as mosquitoes can be pretty tough on the south side of the island. The kitchen and the main floor bedroom were updated and really functional. The second story bathroom is great because it has a tub but more challenging to use as a shower because it’s built into the peak of the home so there is a wand and a tub (like many European tin situations) but the other bathroom is a fantastic alternative for showering. The only thing we found challenging about the space was that there are a few our buildings on the property, one of them is a single one bedroom cabin. That cabin shares a driveway and some other spaces with the big “main house” that we rented. Specifically, this house has a great little lawn and fire pit that is out back where the screened in porch is, so we spent a good amount of time there, but that is also where the little cabin is, so when their windows were open we were very aware of how close and obtrusive we were being. We didn’t know the property was spilt when we rented. Other than that, we were very happy with the rental.
