Great location/ some issues

The house was huge and great for our big family. Location is great- close to beach! Safe neighborhood. The pictures listed are not up to date. Back deck and yard are not usable. Basement was a little sketchy. Had issue with master bath. Not enough seating.

Thanks KAthy for your feedback. We did have the backyard grass cut ( the landscaping company missed a turn- our apologies!) Basement is only partially finished- the other part is used for storage. Sorry if that wasn't made clear to you. Hope we have the opportunity to host your group again! -Joel

Location, Location, Location

This house was the perfect location for our annual family beach trip. The house was very clean with ample seating in the gathering areas. There was plenty of space for all 18 of us without getting in each others way. We were able to pull additional chairs and stools to gather around the large table for meals and games. We had a wonderful experience. Joel responded to every question or request we had.

Vacation house

House was very nice ! Bedroom layout worked well for our group. Had a railing fall off in my hand, which i know is an easy fix. Had 2 calls during our week stay to install some filters . First i okd but not happy . 2nd i asked them to wait til we left . Also inaccurate listing on hot tub - about 4" of water , mold and slugs ! Disappointing since my boys all have back issues and they would definitely have used it 😔 Game room? Not sure where that was . There was an empty room in the basement . I should definitely not have to pay for an unusable hot tub ! Could use more dishes , silverware . Was a nice neighborhood . Parking a definite issue with the parking police practically camping out on the street , 2nd i Firstone

Thanks for the feedback Bev. Just to clarify- the listing doesn’t come with a hot tub and isn’t advertised as having one. I think you may be mixing up the jacuzzi which is in the master bathroom. (We do have a hot tub under the porch that hasn’t been hooked up yet but we did not put anything about it into the listing.) Parking in Atlantic City is by permit. As long as you have one displayed in the dashboard the police won’t bother you. Hope that clears it up!

lots of positives but also lots of shortcomings

Lots of room and a great location for the beach but ...no soap in any bathrooms and no hand or dishwashing soap in the kitchen. No shampoo or conditioner or body wash in any shower. No blinds or shade at large windowed bathroom - strange! The blinds on nearly every bedroom window had numerous broken slots and no strings to raise or lower them. No paper towels or napkins or simple amenities in the kitchen - i.e. no tin foil or baggies or tupperware or anything else for left overs. No hooks or any towel racks in the second floor bathroom - just holes in the wall where the towel rack must have previously hung. For an 8/9 bedroom house, you would think you would more cups/glasses. I don't think you had more than six to eight total glasses to drink from. I was surprised as I have used Vrbo and -------- and every other time the house was much better stocked and at the price you pay why not have soap and such included?

Pictures were misleading, but great location!

While we did have a great time at the house, there were definitely some issues. I think that the photos misrepresent the state of the house. For example, the lamps in some of the rooms were not even plugged into a wall and the cords were leading nowhere, there were towel racks that had been pulled off the wall and never replaced, etc. these are easy fixes. However, my biggest issue is with safety of the house as we traveled with two infants. There were exposed carpet tack strips leading into the top floor bathroom, the main dining table wasn’t attached to the base of the table, the basement door didn’t have a doorknob and was difficult to open from the first floor, etc. So we had to be really careful for both ourselves and our children. The pictures look beautiful, but in reality, the home is not well maintained. When we arrived, the powder room in the main floor was clogged and there was mold around a vent in the top floor bathroom. We immediately notified the host. He sent another person the next day. That person attempted to unclog it and said he would send a plumber. The plumber never came. He did clean off the mold, but this is likely a bigger issue that needs addressed. There was also a leak in the ceiling one evening and we were told someone would come the next day, but nobody did. We just worked around these issues. We would also suggest the host get more seating in the living room as it’s only one couch for 10-15 guests. The location and beach is great though!

Great location

Safe area very close to the beach! Very easy to Uber everywhere. The house is massive and slept our whole group comfortably! Would definitely come back! Joel was very easy to work with and communicated right away!

Totally NOT what the pictures on the website "alluded". Feel TOTALLY scammed for a $4000 stay.

It was disgusting! Awful. I deserve my money back but I know I was completely mislead. I will NEVER be back. 100% disappointed You should be ashamed.

Atlantic City needs no introduction! So when presented with an opportunity to purchase this beasrt of a house on the beach block we just couldn't pass it up! We put in a large outlay to renovate this and make it gorgeous and are finally excited to present this to the public!!!
