We stayed for spring break in March 2022 with 6 people total: 2 kids (6yrs), 2 adults, & grandparents and really enjoyed our stay. We’d rate it a 4.5, but gave it a 5 since our concerns were pretty small and could easily be solved by the host providing some daily use items.
Pros: Great location on the intercostal, right next to the crosswalk to the beach. Short drive to both St. Pete Beach and Madeira Beach. The beach was never too busy either since there aren’t any “large” resorts nearby, could find plenty of open space even during spring break. It had beach chairs, cooler, & a few other beach supplies in the closet. Nice small pool with bathrooms and plenty of seats. The condo had plenty of space and we loved the layout with 3 total bathrooms. Enjoyed watching the sunrise from the back deck. 1 assigned parking spot.
Cons: There was only travel size bars of hand soap in the bathrooms, and basically nothing else for daily use. No shampoo, no Laundry Detergent, no cooking supplies like salt & pepper or cooking oil. We’ve had these available in all other rentals we’ve stayed in. So we had to stock for the week upon arrival. Had we known, we would’ve at least brought our own shampoo. It’s almost like the cleaning company completely empties the condo of reusable items between guests, maybe a COVID thing, but seems excessive. A beach umbrella would also be an easy upgrade.
Overall, we really enjoyed the condo and our stay, and would definitely stay at 404 again.
