Absolutely fantastic location, we had a great time at the beach, the sand is wonderfully fine and confortable. The cottage is well kept and was very clean. BBQ worked great. Communication with host was fast and pleasant. Would definitely come back, thank you!

Sun & Sand, sans salt

Can't beat the location. Right on the beach, easy beach walk to souvenir shops. No overcrowding on the beach. The deck offered great shade when needing a break yet still offered a great view of the bay. The cottage itself is clean, updated and well stocked w with utensils, dishes, pots and pans. The A/C was greatly appreciated on a couple of the stickier nights. Almost forgot the grill! It was in great shape. Clean, ignitor worked, no hot spots. I personally have been visiting Wasaga Beach for 55 years and this was the best cottage I've ever stayed at. We will be back.

Sandpiper resort-Wasaga beach#2

We stayed in cottage #8 for three nights in July. It was small but a good fit for my family of 4. The kids loved how close we were to the beach. The big tree gave us shade from the sun and rain. And the deck was nice to keep less sand coming into the house. A good 20min beach walk to Wasaga main beach #1. The bathroom shower was tight to get in/‘out and the front door lock was very hard to open with the key. They may need to replace the door handle to fix it. We had the AC on for the last night we stayed and it was very loud and unclear how to work it. We had to turn it off in the middle of the night because of the noise kept us up and it got very cold. But in general, it was a good place for a few nights by the beach. I would go back.

Canada Day weekend

The location was perfect, steps from the beach, and only a 5 to 10 minute walk up to the main drag. The host was amazing and super helpful and made sure everything was perfect. The cottage was a little dirty on the inside, probably because it had sat for a while and just needed a quick dusting otherwise absolutely perfect.

Great vacation and quick response from the owner! One thing that would have been nice is if each cabine would have a fire pit. The wifi was a bit slow, but beside those two thing everything went great! Thank you!

Cottage was good but there’s a lot of caterpillar on the tree.

The place is good. I would go back to this place again but not on cottage 8 or 9 because there’s a lot of caterpillar on the tree and I dont recommend to stay at the patio. I got exposed to it during our first day and I suffered from itchiness and swollen skin. Nevertheless the place is nice and close to the beach.

Beach front getaway

Love the beach front view, and quick access. Very clean and good accommodations. Would have been nice to have a list of items that are for our use in the house to pack anything we need extra. Very much enjoyed!!!

Rustic but beautiful.

The deck of our unit (8) and proximity to the beach were huge pluses at this property. We looked right over the Beach/water and it was gorgeous. The units themselves could use some freshening and the bedrooms only hold double beds, but if you just need a place to sleep and spend most of the day outside, it’s an ideal place to stay!

Fantastic location!

The cottage was clean, BBQ and appliances new and working well. The deck overlooking the beach was a really fantastic spot. We were so grateful to find this spot and enjoyed being at Wasaga Beach - away from the crowds of the busier part of the beach! Pls note that wifi is extremely limited - cannot be relied on.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Sandpiper is a great little resort that was perfect for a weekend getaway. Only about 15 min to the Wasaga strip which is a fun spot. Susan was great to deal with and the cottage was in great shape. Super close access to the private beach was great. We'd definitely go back!
