A clean, bright, airy apartment in a fabulous location, central to Nelson Bay and within walking distance of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Great for a family or sharing with another couple. The lockup garage in a secure car park is a bonus.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice week in Nelson Towers. The apartment was in a fantastic position close to the shops, restaurants and the beach.The apartment was large, and spacious and lovely view from the balcony of the marina. Our only disappointment was the comfort of all the beds. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and old and even with the toppers over the mattress they were still very uncomfortable and thought our feedback is important. Also there wasn't an iron anywhere to be found. Other that those two issues, We had a very enjoyable stay.

The Letdown

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall disappointed. The unit is quite dated and in need of a refresh. For the amount charged we expect clean carpet, clean floor surfaces and clean kitchen benchtops. Even hand sanitiser would have been a warm welcome after touching keys and elevator surfaces etc. Then there was the surprise of no soap, so we left behind the bars we bought at Woolies for the next holiday maker. The lack of air con throughout was also a letdown.The location was way too noisy. Traffic on the main street was a fun-killer and the street cleaner hours from 4.30am through 7.30am were unappreciated.Thank you for the clean linen though. We're unlikely to return to this apartment but we like Nelson Bay so will stay away from the main street and the street sweeper.
