Great location/ spacious home

Lake LBJ was beautiful, the town had everything you need and the property was perfect for us! We were able to bring our boat and my boys were able to fish. The house was beautiful AND so spacious! We could’ve brought another family or two. Instructions for everything were clear and it was an easy process, checking in and out.

A Happy New Year!

We stayed at the Triple L property over the New Year holiday. The house was very nice, stocked with everything necessary. We fished and hung out at the dock since the weather was good, we caught several large catfish, enjoyed the lake views and sunset. Hill Country Stays made the booking easy and they were very helpful throughout our stay. We're looking forward to our next trip.

Christmas at Lake LBJ

This was a wonderful home with beautiful lake views. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The open concept kitchen made it easy for everyone to be together and the large table was great for eating and lots of game playing. I highly recommend this home for your next Lake LBJ trip. We will definitely come back!

Nice Rental but check for lake vegetation at dock

Great house the rent in a convenient location!! Town was very close. The yard was great for our dog and kids having a fenced area before going down to the dock. There was a hole in the gate a dog can go through and the house is near an RV park. FYI Our only problem with the house was the lake vegetation has the water area at the dock unusable right now. We ask about the vegetation before going and we’re told vegetation maybe present. I do feel that the rental company could have sent us pictures or described that vegetation WAS present and as renters you may not want to swim there/ put a boat in. Our family would not get in the water and we never unloaded our boat due to lake vegetation and gas’s mats by the dock. A guy Nextdoor said his boat was in the shop $2500 repair due to the vegetation getting in his water pump. The management company offered to let us leave the next morning and not pay for the second night but we chose to stay because VRBO charges, cleaning fees and first night were most of the cost. Plus our time would have been spent packing, unpacking and prepping to leave the house. I feel like the lake vegetation is out of control in that area of the lake and the they understated the vegetation when we ask and could still cancel/ rent a different property. We were quite upset to be at the lake with a boat and dock to leave and never get in or on the lake. I would not trust the management company and ask for pictures of the water in the boat dock area.

Great Home

This was my second stay at this home with my family and we will be back again. Beautiful home. Quiet neighborhood. Love the huge porch and the balcony on the water. Home is very clean, updated and has great amenities.

family reunion 2023

The property was pretty much what was expected. and we had a great time. Although, the toilets ran off and on day & night. We had to turn off the water at night in the master as it kept us awake otherwise. Also, we are used to plush beds, so these beds seemed extremely hard. Other than those 2 things we loved it.

Perfect location

Perfect house for a family vacation. The view of the lake is perfect. Great location to restaurants and grocery store. Master bedroom mattress was super comfy. We rented a boat so the boat dock was super convenient.

Great Location!

The property is great for enjoying Lake LBJ, along with Splash boat rentals, and Boattown Grill. The property itself is clean if a bit “tired” and could use additional kitchen essentials. The fenced yard is a huge plus with grandkids and the lily pad is a hit. The property management is very responsive and helpful! All said, we had a great time.

Long weekend family stay

There were 7 adults and I child and I dog. We really liked the house, comfortable, nicely decorated, very clean and spacious. Beautiful views of the lake. The only negative was there was lots of boat traffic which for the swimmers near the dock we were constantly battling the waves. Not good for the kayaking either!

Birthday/Mother's Day Gathering

Older home with nice upgrades. Upstairs a/c was constantly running and never seemed to cool off. If our stay was later in the summer I believe it would be uncomfortable. Some stand-up portable fans would help. We like to cook and found the kitchen under equipped. Only one frying pan and only two dish towels, no small spoons, no measuring cups and no sharp knives. Since there is no swimming pool and the grass was invasive around the pier, swimming was not an option. Kids were disappointed. Minor issues but they would not deter me from booking this property again. We had a wonderful time gathering on the back porch and enjoyed sitting under the majestic pecan trees. Beautiful setting.

Very good location

The property is in a good location. Very clean. Kitchen has all utensils needed. Bedrooms needs some improvements with better bedding.

Relaxing Get Away

The house was clean, comfortable and in a good location. Loved sitting up on the dock in the lounge chairs. The teens liked using the kayaks. It was a nice relaxing few days at the lake.

Great spot on the lake.

My family enjoyed Thanksgiving at this property and it had plenty of sleeping room and we loved how the property is fully enclosed by a gate going from the front all the way to the back by the dock.

Family Getaway

The property was excellent. It was clean and well cared for. Everyone enjoyed the stay. The fenced in yard was great for containing the baby and keeping him away from the lake when we weren't down at the dock. My only complaint would be the number of towels on the property. There were 11 of us and we washed towels every day to make sure everyone had a clean one each night. Also there were only 2 dish towels. Other than that it was great. Definitely would recommend this property.

Great Summertime Fun

This house provided the perfect setting for our family vacation- clean, well stocked, beautiful patio and yard leading to the water, and fenced so that toddlers couldn’t wander to the water alone. Lily pad and kayaks were a hit, and upper deck at sunset was perfect relaxation time. Great communication and response with management.

Yearly family lake trip.

Checked in smoothly. Ordered pizza from spot in Kingsland. Really good. Put boat in the water. No lift available so we had to secure boat with bumpers and tie lines. House is in no wake zone, but very popular place for playing on the lake. Water was rough. The layout of house is good. Only two observation. The stepped downs in the home would have been a big help if told about it upfront. I’ve had both knees operated on and my wife has balance issues. Almost busted my reared more than once. Upstairs a/c has a hard time keeping up with this 106 degree heat. We kept door at top of stairs closed and bought an standing fan. Kept it comfortable. I don’t mean to sound negative. We made it work and was quite comfortable while staying there. No issues with house. Very popular place on the lake. Swimming off the dock was perfect area. Water toys that were provided were great. Loved the lillipad.

Great place to relax and enjoy the lake!

Triple L was clean, roomy and relaxing! The house had everything we needed and the backyard provided ample shade in the afternoon. We hope to stay there again!!

Son's 16th birthday weekend

Stayed for 3 nights to celebrate our son's 16th birthday with 6 of his friends. Had a wonderful stay. The boys enjoyed jumping from the top boat deck, kayaking, swimming, fishing, eating s'mores and sleeping in the bunk room. Well stocked kitchen, close to town to rent boats and buy groceries. House stayed nice and cool in this Texas heat and the location was excellent on the lake. Very clean with hand soap and plenty of linens and paper items. Would love to stay here again. We had a great time. Property managers were also very accommodating and prompt with answers.
