Location was unbeatable for getting to all amenities and the deck had a great view. We were unfortunately stuck inside due to rain and found the living room furniture not the most comfortable. But with better weather, we wouldn't have minded as we would have spent more time in town and on the deck.

Great weekend! We stayed here for a weekend and it was perfect! Close to downtown restaurants & shopping and the marina. The kitchen was nice and we especially enjoyed the patio overlooking the water. The property was clean and as described in the listing. We would stay here again!

Place was great! Need to oil the doors, especially in room with the 2 beds. Closet and bathroom doors very hard to open.Maybe add some playing cards to the games.Overall, loved the location and the fantastic views from the deck!

Perfect family stay!

The apartment is a short walk to Avalon center, with plenty of room for three adults and two active children. The kitchen was admirably set up. The view from the deck is wonderful, especially at night with city lights and a full moon!

Perfect little Catalina house

Cute little property just a small ways away from the main strip. Didn’t realize it had air conditioning although I’m sure it’s listed, but that was definitely an added bonus. I thought it being a shared property might make it, but it was actually very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here

The property was excellent, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our needs. There were a number of minor issues (no sheets for the sofa bed, issues with the gas flow in the stove, a lock box that didn't lock) that could have been easily resolved but (and this is the only major complaint) the property managers were completely unresponsive after the confirmation of our reservation. They (Evolve?) did not respond to emails, VRBO messages, or phone calls. This is the first time we have ever experienced complete silence from the property managers. Fortunately, the property was comfortable and well equipped (except the sheets).

Very convenient location with a great view! Accommodations are adequate but not overly comfortable. Sleeps 7 not 8 as futon couch has room for one. Some bedding and pillows need replacing. Washer and dryer were a huge bonus!

This accomodation is a perfect place to stay while in Avalon! Great location because it is not too far up of a walk from where restaurants and the beaches are located. Many other places are quite a steep hike but this one is very doable. Very spacious, well apportioned place and very clean. Really appreciated this unit because we had a nice overlook towards the ocean as well as felt like we were in the midst of the community as well. Loved the spread of windows in the main sitting area. Great kitchen. Mike was extremely helpful before we arrived answering our questions promptly. I would highly recommend this unit!

Excellent location

Nice walk to town and restaurants. Clean and comfortable beds. View from deck was nice. Our only complaint is the the water never got hot enough. Lukewarm showers were a bit unpleasant. Other than that we highly recommend this property.

Amazing view and fabulous location!

We really enjoyed our time visiting for a wedding at Descanso, the location was perfect and was an easy 5 minute walk to Descanso and less than 2 minute walk into town! Would absolutely book again.

Beautiful home located just out of town

Nice and quiet, beautiful views. A little bit of a walk up the hill behind the Island spa. The interior of the home was beautifully renovated recently and slept 8 of us comfortably. The balcony was gorgeous at night. We’d love to stay here again!

Catalina Perfection!

We had an incredible 2 nights at this lovely property. We started and ended each day on the patio and soaked in the view - it was dreamy! Property was clean and had everything we needed and more (beach towels!). Location is AMAZING...a short 3 minutes walk to Steps beach and shops/restaurants and only 10-15 minutes to Descanso Beach. Perfect location! Property owner and friendly neighbor/on site contact were super helpful and easy to communicate with when needed. We hope to return!

Comfortable, great views

Nice home. Deck and living room have views of ocean. Furnishings nice. Kitchen well equipped. We used the gas BBQ grill one evening. Walking distance to most things, although 2 blocks are up steep hills, like almost everywhere in Avalon. Good privacy and quiet.
