プールは2018年5月以降に加熱できます！ 私たちのコルティーホとコテージは、シエラ・ネバダの南の麓にあるロス・アグスティネスと呼ばれる小さな村で、オルギバの5kmに位置しています。 これは主に野菜栽培農家の「生きている」共同体であり、彼らの土地は大部分が手作業で私たちの下にあります。 あなたのハンモックに座って、それらを見る。 私たちの素敵な隣人のひとりは、彼の作品を私たちと分かち合うためにドアをたたきます。 毎日午後、首に鈴が付いているヤギが畑へと向かい、パコやホセは彼らのラバと一緒に行く。 この場所は本当に牧歌的ですね。 私たちのコテージは小さな小さな庭園にあり、美しい色と香りに囲まれています。 お料理が気に入らず、リラックスした時間を過ごしたい場合は、私たちにお知らせください。魅力的なテラスで朝食やおいしいサプライズディナーメニューを用意しています。 さあ、リラックスしてお楽しみください！

Sehr schön gelegenes kleines, aber feines Ferienhäuschen in der Nähe von Órgiva.Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und gastfreundlich. Zudem sprechen sie Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch, was zur Verständigung sehr komfortabel war.Die Umgebung ist, anders als in den meisten andalusischen Gegenden, sehr „grün“, was gut für das Klima und den Ausblicken auf die Landschaft ist.Alles war wie im Inserat beschrieben.Wir können das Haus wärmstens empfehlen.Grüße an Naomi und Stefan

An Alternative Spain

After a particularly challenging winter healthwise my wife and I were looking to recuperate and improve our fitness with some gentle mountain hikes, perhaps a vineyard tour and a visit to the Alhambra Palace. Well, we managed the last two but failed miserably with the former! Instead we had the most relaxing and restorative time chilling by the pool, mesmerised by the magnificent mountainous vista, the sounds of simple farming and of running water. Time stopped and we just healed. Naomi prepared us a veritable vegetarian feast on the night of our late arrival - certainly the best meal of our stay - and she and Stefan were wonderfully attentive and informative when required whilst respectful of our privacy at all times. They have created a tranquil idyll in a beautiful setting. Huge thanks Sheenagh & Julian.

Just wonderful!

We had a wonderful week with Stefan and Naomi. We appreciated the nice, warmhearted welcome by the two as well as the cozy apartment and the beautiful garden. The location of the domicile is a good starting point for a variety of activities. For example, we have been hiking a lot, visiting Granada and enjoying the sea at Nerja. We can only recommend the accommodation!

Een prettige vakantieplek

Klein maar fijn. Het huis was schoon bij aankomst. Het uitzicht mooi. Het dorpje Orgiva is 5 kilometer. Het huisje was wel kleiner dan we hadden verwacht. Van een zitkamer is geen sprake. Er is een zitje in het slaapvertrek. Het huisje is gezellig ingericht. Wel misten we een leeslampje boven het bed. Het bed was verder goed. Het hout voor de kachel moet na afloop worden afgerekend. Buiten zijn veel vogels en heerst er rust. Soms hoorden we een landbouwwerktuig of de verderop gelegen steenfabriek. Veel auto's rijden er niet op het smalle weggetje. Deze plek is een goed uitgangspunt voor wandelingen. In het dorp zijn verschillende restaurants waarvan het Marokaanse restaurant erg goed is en niet te duur was. Rond het dorp staan veel heel oude olijfbomen.

How to experience Spain at its best!

We spent a much needed 2 weeks in this beautiful tranquil casita set in the stunning Las Alpujarras region of Southern Spain. If you want a taste of Spanish life this is the place! Close enough to the nearest town of Orgiva to buy all you need for your stay but set in a rural location giving you peace and privacy and total relaxation. The dear little casita is perfect for a couple and set in a most stunning terraced outdoor space with plenty of sun and shade and best of all ..... the most perfect pool with views over the valley. A car is recommended - not just for trips to town but also to explore the heartland of Las Alpujarras and it's typical sleepy white villages dotted throughout the stunning Sierra Nevada mountain range. Stefan and Naomi, the delightful owners, live next door and are on hand to help with anything you might need. If you want real Spain then get booking!!

nous avons passe deux semaine dans la petit maison de Stefan et Naomi , il nous ons accueillis avec notre toutou Murphy qu il ont même garde une journée le temps de visite l Alhambra maison joliment rénovè par Stephan dans le style de l Andalousie ,la verdure les fleurs et la piscine garde la fraicheur pendant les forte température de l été de nombreuse ballade et baigne dans le torrent sont accessible directement de la maison , nous avons pu decouvrire la montagne, les villages blanc ,le bord de mer , et grenade tous facile d accès en voiture , Stefan et Naomi, connaisse bien leur région et nous ont très bien renseigne pour nos sortis ,il sont polyglotte anglais allemand espagnole et un peu de français donc pas de problème . conclusion la discrétion et la gentillesse de Stefan et Naomi n'as d’égale que la beauté de leur petit paradis. nous serions bien reste plus longtemps . Beautifull serene charming little place

Very well looked after peacefull place with lots of flowers and an amazing view over the valley. The very friendly and welcoming owners are living next door but we hardly seen them. A perfect place to enjoy rural andalucia and come to complete rest.

7 wundervolle Nächte!

Wir sind sehr froh darüber während unserer ersten Andalusienreise Stefan und Naomi und ihr traumhaftes Häuschen unter den Bergen Sierra Nevadas kennengelernt zu haben. Die Unterbringung in La Rueda hat all' unsere Wünsche erfüllt und in vielen Hinsichten übertroffen. Die Schönheit dieses Plätzchens lässt sich auf keinem Bild so darstellen wie es in Wirklichkeit ist - der Duft der vielen Blumen, das Vogelzwitschern, der Blick auf die Berge (aus dem Pool!)... ein Naturschauspiel, welches einem auf seiner Rundreise durch Andalusien auf keinen Fall entgehen darf! Außerdem ist für die Privatsphäre bestens gesorgt und der Aufenthalt in La Rueda ist z.B. auch sehr gut für muslimische Pärchen geeignet. Wir empfehlen den Aufenthalt in diesem wünderschönen Häuschen jedem, der seinen Andalusienreise einerseits gerne angenehm und komofortabel und andererseits (auf Grund der super Lage) spontan und abenteuerlich gestalten möchte. Obendrein stehen Stefan und Naomi - falls sie auch vor Ort im Nachbarhaus sind - bei Bedarf mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und es macht wirklich großen Spaß mit ihnen bei Kaffee und Kuchen zu plaudern. Naomi hat uns außerdem immer wieder mit eigenen Feigen überrascht - Feigen, die einen sprichwörtlich "vom Hocker hauen" :-) Wir bedanken uns herzlich für die warme Gastfreundschaft, die wir erleben durften und die tolle Erfahrung, die uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird - bis uns die Sehnsucht wieder vor die Tore von Los Agustines verleitet.

A fantastic getaway!

A wonderful place to relax and let the world go by ! The studio is very comfortable, the pool was gorgeous and the views stunning. Stefan and Naomi were always at hand for local information. Thoroughly recommend!

Perfect hideaway to relax and unwind!

Wonderful little oasis, surrounded by a sea of flowers, colours and perfumes!! The cottage offers everything you might need and you can park directly in front of it. The refreshing pool is very welcome and you can relax or in a sunlounger right by the pool or in a hammock below a very old olivetree, where you also find the BBQ and a lovely sitting corner! The best are the wonderful views and the very caring hosts! We would come again any time and highly recommend this little jewel!

Quiet, cosy and a place to return

If you don't like peace and quiet and the sounds of singing birds,then don't go here. Stefan and Naomi were perfect hosts,willing to go out of their way to make your stay better,if that's possible. Nearby Orgiva is a lovely typical Spanish village with all amenities

We really enjoyed our stay - everything was perfect. Easy to find and drive to. Lovely food in Orgiva. Met up with friends. Even two days of rain didn't matter - the wood burner kept us warm. Swam in the pool when the sun came back.

Fabulous location

Particularly enjoyed relaxing on the terrace soaking up views and enjoying the birds song and flowers. Also enjoyed walks in the valley and beside the river. There are so many wild flowers at the beginning of April. Our hosts Stefan and Naiomi are most helpful and charming.

Perfect Weather would make this a perfect place

Unfortunately it was really windy, and chilly but otherwise this was a great little cottage/flat with a view of the "snow" on the hills and the agricultural plots of beans olives and oranges below. The flat was well equipped with dishes and everything needed. Stephan's directions to get here were good.

Preciosos Lugar! Beautiful place!

Hemos disfrutado mucho en la Rueda. El área privada del jardín, la piscina y barbacoa no podrían ser mejores. Con muchas flores, arboles y unas vistas preciosas a la montaña. El apartamento es acogedor y perfecto para dos personas. La cocina tiene todo lo esencial para prepararte una comida en condiciones. Aunque no está en las fotos, el baño tiene espacio suficiente y una buena ducha. La cama es grande y cómoda, se duerme muy bien. No tiene tele pero si conexión WIFI que funciona perfectamente y una radio pequeña. La Rueda está a unos diez minutos de Órgiva en coche y la carretera está pavimentada. Es estrecha pero la mayor parte del recorrido tiene suficiente espacio para dos coches yendo en direcciones opuestas y no hay ningún problema en ese sentido. Los dueños viven al lado pero son muy respetuosos de tu privacidad y en cualquier caso, están siempre disponibles si les necesitas ya que son unas personas muy amables y dispuestas a ayudar en lo que necesites. Lo recomendamos a todo el mundo! We had a lovely time in La Rueda. The garden, swimming pool and BBQ area are absolutely beautiful. Surrounded by flowers (wonderful smells), trees, and a lovely view to the mountains. The studio flat itself is quite cozy and perfect for two. The kitchen has everything you need to make yourselves a proper meal. You don’t see it in the pictures but it also has a good size bathroom with a spacious shower. The bed is quite big (two twin size beds joined together) which gave us plenty of room to have a comfortable, good night sleep. It has no television but it has WIFI connection and a small radio if you need to distract your ear from the peaceful sounds of nature. La Rueda is only about a 10 minute drive from Órgiva. The road is narrow but there's sufficient room for two cars going in opposite directions, it is also a paved road. Stefan and Naomi live next door but they are very respectful of your privacy and will be available if you need anything, they are kind and helpful people. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends. We only stayed for the weekend and were already familiar with this beautiful part of Spain, but have finally found the perfect place to stay next time we go to Órgiva. Hopefully it’ll be available. Thank you Stefan and Naomi, we look forward to going back back and meeting you both again.

Fantastic place with loads to do in the area

Naomi and Stefan gave us a wonderful holiday in their pretty, rustic cottage. We had everything we needed during our week there - a comfortable bed, good shower, kitchen, lovely gardens with bbq area overlooking the olive groves and mountains, swimming pool perfect for cooling off after a busy day out. We went on some amazing walks, a village musical evening, a visit to Granada, Orgiva's Thursday market, (all recommended by Naomi and Stefan). I can highly recommend Naomi and Stefan's place to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable base to stay while exploring Andalusia. We will be back.

Tranquility at it's best

Short stay, end of March -April. We cannot recommend La Rueda enough. A great little hide-away for those who want to get away from the conventional holiday rental. The property is rustic with the most beautiful tiered garden with a winding path leading to the pool area and BBQ on a lower level. I have never seen so many flowers in any garden in all my time visiting Spain, and our visit was early April! . The views all around are directly over the valley and this time of year the scent of lemons and oranges is heavenly. Naomi and Stefan were very helpful hosts, giving us local information on the small town of Orgiva and helped us plan our trip to Granada, giving tips on where to park and what to expect. This was invaluable. The collection of literature on local information was good too. Inside the property, the room is comfortable with a two ring gas hob and a few basic cooking essentials. The fridge was an asset as was the lovely shower. There were a few nice touches such as flowers in the bathroom, shutters on the windows and extra blankets and pillows which were thoughtful. There is no TV which was a delight and the internet reception was very good considering the rural location. As we were only on a short stay with the prime purpose of visiting Granada, we didn't get to do some of the best walking in Spain, which is all available to you even a local stroll in the valley is accessible. If you are going to stay here I would advise you plan to do justice to the location and at least walk to the end of the road (I mile) and take in the atmosphere. Remarkable place and yes, I would book again.

Beautiful place to stay

I really enjoyed my stay at La Rueda It was light, clean and private and quiet at night which was essential as I know Spain and its barking dogs. I would love to stay there again. I think a hot water bottle would be good as it was early spring and it was cold at night. If it was my place I would put some basics in the fridge especially after a long day of travelling. But I loved every minute of my stay there

Beautiful hideaway

A narrow road, originally used by donkies, from the village Orgiva takes you to this beautiful, relaxing hideaway. We were looking for a place far away from big hotels and lots of people, but close to the nature and silence, and we found it at La Rueda. Sitting on the terrace by the pool looking at the mountains was wonderful. Even though the property lies right next to the owner, we could enjoy everything totally undisturbed, because Stefan and Naomi were so good hosts! Stefan was very helpful about trips in the area (walks in the mountain around Capileira, Granada, the market in Orgiva etc.). Naomi makes wonderful cooking. It is clean and cosy both inside and outside. We already have recommanded this place to people we meet.

Relaxation!

We have just returned from our eighth visit to La Rueda. This speaks for itself! The Casita,garden and pool are in a beautiful setting. Plenty of walks and treks if you are feeling energetic or trees to sit under by the pool for reading.Real peace, but with the town of Orgiva nearby.If you are very lucky,Naomi and Stefan will come down the garden steps with some coffee and maybe cake!...they are very thoughtful hosts.We cannot recommend La Rueda enough.

Paradise found

This is our second time to visit this gem of a property. What a find! If you are seeking a romantic peaceful place to stay with incredible views, go no further. Private use of the pool was a real bonus. The property which is decorated in local style is beautifully kept and spotless. The pretty garden full of flowers just adds that special touch. We would definitely recommend this excellent little hide away. Hope to come back again one day soon. Thank you

Wonderful

This was our first trip to this part of Spain and WOW, what an amazing place. This property is a beautiful place to kick back and relax. Very private and it has everything you need. It is exactly as described in the listing, but the best bit is the pool. Very welcoming in the 34 deg heat we had in June. Sitting next to the pool on the patio at night listening to the wildlife was sublime. The nearest town of Orgiva is only about 4km away and has plenty of restaurants and bars. The town square is lined with orange trees dripping with fruit !!. I would recommend eating at the campsite on the road out of town, very friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. There is also a market on Thursday that you cannot miss. The region is full of amazing places to visit and you definitely should go and explore. We took a road trip down to Motril and then followed the coast road to La Rabita, head up the A345 and then follow the C333 back to Los Tablones. At some point you end up on a peak about 4000 ft and the views are awesome. Mediterranean shimmering on one side and then turn 180 deg and you see the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada. The Alhambra palace in Granada is a must see, but book it a few weeks before you travel as tickets are limited. All in all La Rueda is a beautiful place and the owners are very friendly warm people who will help in any way they can and after reading the guest book I wish I had sampled some of their cooking, sounds delicious!!!!. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and will be going back as soon as I can.

What can we tell you about us? We, that is Stefan and his wife Naomi and of course the lazy cats Blackey, Tamy and Felix. (He, Austrian, she, British; cats, Spanish) We are all very lucky bums and enjoy every day anew living in this wonderful, wonderful part of the world!
After many years of travelling the world, we happened upon this area and fell in love with it. First we rebuilt La Rueda and then bought another fallen down ruin in the Guajar valley, which we did up into La Cueva, a very special and cozy property.
Come and see for yourself, why we enjoy living here so much!

This place is magic and we bought it without thinking long, we just knew that this was it!!
And we never will regret it and are greatful every day anew to be able to live here.
Like one guest wrote in the guestbook:" paradise is only half as nice!"
We are out in the campo, in a little hamlet, with extremely friendly and warm neighbours, who forever knock on the door to share some produce with us!!
Yet we are only 5 ks away from Orgiva, that offers everything we need.
Great place to live and be!

La Rueda is a quiet place out in the countryside, surrounded by lots of flowers and trees with all its perfumes.
The private pool will be heated from May 2018 (which will incur a small charge depending on the amount of electricity consumed).
The perfect place to unwind and soak up positive energy!
Sit by the pool at night and stargaze or watch the moon rise or set... just come relax and enjoy!
