Loved our annual trip to Playa Blanca and Sunny Secret proved to be the perfect base. Casas Del Sol is immaculate and all staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful. Location is ideal to give easy access to all parts of PB. The villa itself ideally suited our family. Features that mattered to us and have encouraged repeat bookings include spacious south facing terrace, comfortable beds, excellent showers, well equipped kitchen with plentiful supply of matching crockery and glasses, spotless on arrival and this was maintained by twice weekly cleaning.

An absolutely wonderful property in a fantastic location. Well equipped, spacious, super comfortable with air co, the garden truly delightful, with plenty of recliners & a large table. The urbanisation super, sensitively developed and very clean. Helpful & friendly staff. A truly wonderful pool. And just a very short walk east or west to supermarkets, bars, restaurants, shops & the sea. Wonderful hosts quickly & helpfully responding to every query. Simply cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back as soon as we can. Thank you for letting us stay in wonderful. 'Sunny Secret'. It is now one of our 'happy places' too.

Lovely relaxing stay. The villa is a good size for a family of 4 or 5 and the large patio was a real bonus for eating Al fresco or sunbathing on the loungers. Plenty of space in the kitchen too for food storage which is so often lacking in rental properties and the use of a large fridge and dishwasher really helpful.The villa is only steps from the pool which was warm and clean but we were never disturbed by any noise. We loved that the complex was quiet and well maintained, staff were friendly and efficient and the whole vibe very relaxing.All in all a great stay - thank you!

The villa is lovely and has the benefit of the outside space which we used a lot. I stayed with my three children two girls who shared a room with a on suite which worked well.The third bedroom and the bed is more suitable for a small child so my 20 year old son had to share a room with me as it was not comfortable for him at all. This didn’t affect our stay though. Lots of good equipment in the kitchen making meals easy to prepare and the complex facilities are great. Lovely pool and in a lovely location. We really enjoyed our stay.

Quiet family friendly complex close to everything you need!

We stayed here for 2 weeks as a family of 4 (2 boys aged 8 and 11). Bungalow is well situated with sea and pool views. Air con in 2 main bedrooms and portable fans. Pool heated and kept immaculate. Short walk to nearby beaches - our favourite was playa flamingo with white sand and lots of fish to keep our boys happy for hours snorkelling and fishing. Spar 2 minutes walk away. Range of lovely restaurants along the promenade. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The perfect place to stay

We thoroughly loved our stay here. We had a great holiday and I would have no hesitation in recommending it. The apartment was spacious with a good size kitchen, enormous tv screen, and the large terrace has a sunny aspect all day so we could sunbathe first thing as the sun rose with our morning coffee! We even enjoyed a massage by a delightful lady on the terrace which reception organised for us. Reception were very knowledgeable and open continuously all day.The location was fantastic; easy to find from the airport with your own car hire and minutes walk to all facilities. The owners restaurant/bar recommendations were invaluable; we particularly enjoyed Yum Yum’s cocktail bar everyday!The pool is much bigger than the photo show and was warmer than the sea (mid March). The site was super clean, freshly painted and bright.Groceries from well stocked Spar a minutes walk and Pura Vida scuba dive behind was the most prefessional and friendly centre we have ever used worldwide! We saw a lot of sealife and even angel sharks just from flamingo beach as well as the museo atlantico. We recommend the walk up and round the Montana Roja for glorious views if you need to get your steps up! Xx

Super locatie

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf op Sunny Secret. Julie is een tophost. Al vaak in Playa Blance verbleven , maar dit was de beste locatie tot nu toe. Erg dichtbij het dorp, op een park wat erg netjes wordt bijgehouden met een fijn zwembad zonder hekjes maar met badmeester.

Excellent Villa on Casa del Sol complex

We stayed at Sunny Secret from mid January to early February and couldn’t really have stayed in a much better villa. Sunny Secret overlooks the pool without being on top of it and has a large patio area with table and chairs and sun loungers.The villa has 3 bedrooms, two of which are good sized “double bedrooms”, the third a single.Whilst not the largest of kitchens, it is well equipped with sufficient cooking facilities and a dishwasher.The washing machine is ideally located in a cupboard on the patio, thus cutting out most of the noise inside the villa.During our stay, the boiler servicing the main part of the building blew up and left us without hot water in both the kitchen and shower room. However, having reported it to reception, Julie arranged for her own management company to replace the stricken boiler and we were reconnected with hot water two days later (had we been in the villa it would have been the next day as access to the villa was required which gives confidence that any problems are resolved very quickly). 4 weeks at Sunny Secret, our first but hopefully not our last visit to this lovely villa.Thanks Julie for providing access to such a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing villa for us to enjoy during the four weeks we were there.

Delightful property

Beautiful property, a little tired but perfect for our holiday. Check in could be improved, being asked to go for a late lunch after a tiring journey 15 minutes before check in was not great, to be fair it was ready just 15 /20 minutes after it should have been. Location is good, easy walk into playa blanca or the harbour. Swimming pool area really well maintained, cleaned every day and new sun beds, plenty of them as well. If the swimming pool was heated I can only say not much! I managed to swim most days but I think the sea was warmer and my hubby only managed to get his legs wet as he couldn’t bear the cold. Tennis courts were really handy and good value for money, only 5 euros to rent. All in all we had a lovely time and hope to come back.

A proper home from home

We had a lovely stay at this casa. The pool area was never packed - we could always easily find sun beds. The casa itself was very quiet at night with mosquito net screens you can pull across the windows. It’s possibly the first holiday I’ve not been bitten! The maid visited 3 times during our 2 week stay to change towels, make beds and sweep the floors. It felt like a proper home from home with books and DVDs on the shelves, board games in the cupboard and sky movies. Some days we grabbed a take out and watched a movie with the kids. Playa Blanca beach and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away, Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo are about 15 minutes walk, so we visited all 3 beaches. We walked to the water park a couple of times (about a 10 minutes away) which the kids loved. We’ll definitely be back again at some point.

Wonderful Villa

Sunny Secret is definitely a special place!! We could tell this as soon as we arrived, villa was well equipped, spacious, a real home from home, very well located next to pool, very quiet, just what we were looking for. Correspondence between ourselves the owners was seamless, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely endeavour to book this villa again.

Family holiday

We have stayed several times on Casas del Sol in various villas. This year I booked Sunny Secret for my daughter, partner and 9yr old son and my son for 2 weeks . We stayed in a different villa. I booked it well over a year before as it was for the school Easter holidays before my daughter became pregnant. So we also had a 6 month old baby ! Luckily Sunny Secret has a cot and highchair which was confirmed before we went . Communications with host were excellent. Everything was as expected. As the location of Casas del Sol is excellent being so close to supermarkets, restaurants and the promenade and it is a well managed resort we chose Casas del Sol instead of getting a large villa for us all. Sunny Secret was a hit as it was close to the pool ( aiding breast feeding demands ) . My daughter was impressed wirh the maids / cleaners. Another reason for booking Sunny Secret was the very good cancellation policy. We lost a 50% deposit for a different villa on Casas del Sol in January 2021 due to covid. It has made me cautious booking so far ahead. An excellent family holiday was had by all.

Great villa in perfect location

Lovely villa in a beautiful complex with a great pool (more suited to adults as restrictions for kids with inflatables etc). Easy walk to excellent seafront restaurants and bars, with slightly longer walks along the promenade to the marina or flamingo beach. Visit the national park and take the coach around the lunar landscape. The caves at Cueva de las Verdes are a must, but you need to be reasonably mobile. Avoid the tourist trap of Jameos del Agua. Puerto Calero is lovely for reasonably priced meals in a marina setting with fishing, boat and submarine trips available. We had an eventful week in Lanzarote and Sunny Secret is the perfect base!

Really well equipped and comfortable villa on a great resort

Booking was clear and easy. Very detailed instructions about the villa were accessed on line. Despite visiting Playa Blanca since the early 90s I learnt about many different places to visit and eat. The villa was very spacious, with comfortable beds and an extensive array of kitchen equipment. The TV was large with a good picture. We liked the outside furniture and the ability to dine in the shade with a good view. The resort is in a wonderful position so close to a bus stop, ferry harbour and promenade with shops, bars and restaurants. Now trying to find another available fortnight in Sunny Secret! Colin Bell

The property was first class, everything you could possibly need. Close to all the amenities, pool within 50 metres, and the best patio with loungers to lay out in the sun. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit here again.

Perfect terrace for very relaxing break

We loved the location of the property, an easy walk to shops, restaurants supermarkets. The terrace with view of the very clean and quiet pool, view of the sea and shade when we needed it, was perfect for us to spend a lot of time relaxing there. The whole site is very clean and the reception staff were helpful and friendly and the small supply of essentials they have there very useful. We would definitely return

Great villa in great location

The property is in a great location on the complex with a view to the communal pool.The property had everything we needed with a lovely outside space for al fresco dining and enough space to relax on sunbeds.The property was well equipped and very clean and well maintained.The location is perfect with just a short stroll to the beaches shops bars and restaurants we will definitely be coming back.

I have retired as a Staff Nurse, and my husband is a practising GP. We all love the outdoor life playing tennis, golf and hockey. Our sons Sean and Alex are working in business and Sophie our daughter works for Beat the eating disorder charity. We also have Cara our beautiful Golden Retriever. We have been visiting Lanzarote for the last 30 years and love the all year round climate. We particularly love Playa Blanca for its wonderful beaches and upmarket feel. The standard of cuisine is excellent, we really enjoy visiting the various restaurants and eating outside on balmy evenings.

We immediately fell in love with our villa because of it's location and our beautiful patio and garden area affords us stunning views of the pool and sea whilst sat relaxing. We adore watching the boats bobbing along and watching the ferry come in. There is a sense of well being and happiness radiating from the wonderful atmosphere created by the sense of openness, watching the skies as the day turns to night, whilst listening to the gentle rustle of the palm trees.
The tropical gardens are a delight and the complex is impeccably kept. We love swimming in the fantastic pool because its huge and never too busy. We also use the tennis courts every day. We amble along the promenade for our evening meal, a glass of wine and no worries about getting home. A perfect get away from it all.

Location, location, location that's the saying and it applies not only to our position on the complex but for the resort as well. We bought the villa when it was very dated and I really enjoyed the total renovation including new kitchen, bathroom and complete colour co-ordinated refurbishment. It feels very bright and homely. The villa is slightly raised and we have total privacy as we are not overlooked in any way. The villa is furnished to a very high standard and we really feel that it is home from home. We originally bought the villa for our personal use but as we were tied to school holidays we successfully rented our much loved villa and our guests keep on coming back!
