Très joli chalet très bien agencé et plus grand que ce que nous avions pensé à l’examen des photos. Nous étions 6 et chacun avait son intimité. Le spa est un plus. La localisation a 3 mn des pistes très pratique avec un accès domaine alpe d’Huez en cas de manque de neige. Liz et Romain ont été très réactifs pour la réservation et l’arrivée en plus d’être charmants! Je recommande vivement en famille ou entre amis.

Great apartment great location for skiing

Stayed here with my family. 7 adults and 2 children. There were 9 of us so the apartment was ‘full’ but the spacious living areas and 2 bathrooms made it OK The location was perfect for skiing, straight out of the ski locker room door! It was simple to access the whole of the Alpe D Huez ski area I would definitely recommend this apartment for a ski holiday

Très belle location

L’appartement est spacieux et très bien équipé au niveau vaisselle. Les pièces sont grandes et en aucun nous ne nous sommes sentis trop serrés. La situation par rapport aux listes est excellente. La literie par contre est de médiocre qualité. Les lits sont trop durs. Une autre amélioration pourrait être d’avoir un minimum de choses disponibles à l’arrivée. Il n’y avait ni papier hygiénique ni sac poubelle, ni sel, ni poivre....

Simply Wonderful

Wow what an amazing family holiday we had here. I would say this apartment commands the best spot in this intimate resort, truly ski in ski out straight down to the main gondola and nursery slopes. Everything we needed was catered for and very helpful reception. The skiing was incredible with a great mix of runs. With no cars in the village, all the kids enjoyed sledging and skiing down the main street. Grocery shop, patisserie and charcuterie in the village was more than sufficient for self catering. Liz the owner provided an abundance of information in advance of our trip, felt very well looked after and looking at dates to book our next trip!

Wonderful!

The apartment was spacious and very well equipped . A lovely location with the ski slopes right outside the door and shops and amenities within a short stroll. The swimming pool was a bonus as well. Excellent location, what a view!

This is a great apartment, so close to the main lifts, supermarket, ski hire shops etc. Really comfortable, well equipped, clean and tidy, with plenty of space for our group of 7. Liz the owner has been so helpful with information about the area, lift passes, ski hire and restaurants. And Oz is a wonderful quiet little village, safe for the children playing outside and with easy access to and from Alpe D'Huez, who could ask for more. Great spot!

A fabulous week

We stayed in this fantastic apartment for a week at the beginning of February and were incredibly lucky with the weather as well as the beautiful accommodation. The apartment has a traditional alpine feel and has been generously filled with dvds and games to entertain tired skiers. The kitchen was great and we were able to cook most of our evening meals. Liz was very helpful throughout the planning and duration of our stay and was able to answer all of our questions about the local amenities which made for a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Thank you Liz!

Beautiful apartment, amazing location in a lovely resort.

The ski are is great for intermediate skiers, loads of pistes and with the Grand Domain lift pass you can access everywhere, so it's easy to avoids the crowds if you want to. Oz itself is great for beginners as there is a baby slope really close to the apartment. For location you can not ask for better, out of the ski locker, along a corridor, out of the door and skis on! The apartment is beautiful. We fit happily with 8 (6 adults, 2 smalls). It is really well equipped for children too (2 baby beds, booster seats and even a night lamp plus lots of games in the cupboard and dvds). The kitchen is small but well equipped. The non-skiers made full use of the near-by sledging and swimming pool. The village is small but has everything you need. It is a bit of a hike to get to the apartment on arrival, but you forget that as soon as you are sitting on the balcony with a beer enjoying the sunshine! Liz (the owner) was very professional, always prompt and helpful with emails and advice. We would thoroughly recommend this property for a great ski holiday,

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet appartement. La propriétaire Liz nous avait envoyé des informations très précises et utiles avant le départ ce qui est très appréciable. L'appartement est très confortable, bien équipé avec notamment un vrai four! Deux salles de bain, deux WC, une véritable entrée, à la montagne c'est du luxe! Le linge de lit et les serviettes fournies sont également un plus. Bref on recommande cette location sans hésitations.

Fantastic family accommodation in unbeatable location

This property exceeded all our expectations and the owner, Liz, could not have been more helpful in the run up to our holiday. The accommodation is ski in and out, beside the ski school and has a balcony that overlooks the slopes whilst drenched in the afternoon sun. The apartment had everything we could possibly have needed and was well suited to our young families. The travel cots and high chairs meant we didn't need to transport cumbersome baby equipment and the apartment was so spacious we never felt cramped. The swimming pool was the icing on the cake and we often had it to ourselves. The resort itself was ideal, no cars and no long ski bus rides to the slopes. The locals were incredibly friendly and helpful and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first family ski trip. We are already looking at dates for next year and will be looking to book again. I can't imagine getting anything better anywhere else, certainly the best ski accommodation we have ever stayed in.

Fabulous, comfortable, well equipped home from home apartment in a brilliant location

We had a fantastic experience from the moment we booked the apartment. Liz has been so helpful and has provided us with many recommendations to make our trip run smoothly. The apartment is ideal for skiers or others just wanting to enjoy the mountains with an unrivaled view of the mountains, the lifts and returning skiers from the comfort of a south facing balcony. Oz is a hidden gem of a resort, ideal for families as restricted access of cars in the village makes it a safe playground for children. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and the local restaurants are excellent. Oz is also the perfect location to access the ski runs of Alpe d'huez and Vaujany being between both resorts and with easy access to the lifts you can get on the slopes before others. Skiing right back to the door is a luxury as is an easy ski to the lifts in the morning. I would come back to this apartment again in a heartbeat! Thank you Liz for a fantastic holiday from all of our family.

Fabulous location; nicely appointed apartment

We had a great time in Oz. Too late in the season for fantastic snow; but enough to have a great time. The apartment is spacious; well appointed and in a great location with views over the Poutrans lift. The village is small and everything needed for a family ski holiday is close at hand. My girlfriends and I enjoyed a fantastic week skiing in this apartment in Oz En Oisan. The apartment was clean, well equipped and the location outstanding as you can ski in and ski out from the slopes. I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely want to return.

Great base for introducing children to skiing

Lovely, well equipped apartment in really nice, family friendly resort. We also had a good experience of the local ESF, particularly Club Piou Piou, which got our five year old properly skiing down green runs by the end of the week.

home in the mountains

This was our third stay in this apartment; it is a comfortable, well equipped base for a family holiday, easy to pop home for lunch, great for family suppers and evenings in. We like the setting and views from the balcony, as well as proximity to the main lift and village amenities. We like the ski locker being on the right floor to ski in and out from the building, and the friendly reception people in the neighbouring building. We've found Liz, the owner, very helpful and easy to communicate with, and we'd certainly have no hesitation in recommending her apartment, the village and indeed the whole scenic and well-organised resort.

Our apartment has a unique position at the edge of the village overlooking the pistes. We have an uninterrupted view over the mountains and can watch skiers return after their day out as they ski back into the chalet.

Having spent many years carrying skis and poles to the lifts in other resorts, we bought this apartment where it is possible to ski directly to the lift in the morning and straight back in the afternoon to the ski locker; carrying skis whilst on holiday is now a thing of the past!

Comfort is also important to us and the apartment is always warm and cosy.

This is a home from home for us so we have ensured that there is plenty of storage in the apartment, there is a full complement of kitchen utensils and comfortable chairs both in the apartment and on the balcony. There is free WiFi.

Location, location, location! The views from the apartment are spectacular!

There is free access to the swimming pool, sauna and small gym located in the adjacent chalet. It is also possible to book a table in the excellent restaurant, la Ferme d'Oz next door.

We also have an arrangement with the local ski hire shop who offers a discount to our guests, speaks English and offers an excellent friendly service.

Ski school (ESF) is also next door so for young families, parents can maximise their time on the slopes whilst the children are in lessons. In fact, Oz actively encourages families by offering low priced family ski passes. With no cars allowed in the village, Oz is an excellent location to bring a family!
