Lovely Traditional Villa With Private Pool, Garden and Magnificent Sea Views

(Photos to be added in October) Casa Casandra (fully refurbished in 2010) is a villa in the lovely area of Luz Parque with some of the finest views of the coastline in the Algarve. It is just 10 minutes walk or 3 minutes by car to Luz village, with shops, restaurants, bars and glorious sandy beach with safe bathing. The villa is set in well maintained and private gardens, with a superb pool and terraces. There are 3 double bedrooms on the ground floor opening onto the pool terrace, whilst the lounge and open-plan dining kitchen are on the upper floor offering outstanding panoramic sea views. The villa is comfortably furnished in a traditional Portuguese style, and is extremely well equipped. There is maid service to clean the villa and change beds and air-conditioning is available at no extra cost. Free Wi-fi, Digital TV, music centre, built-in barbecue, and safe. Car recommended. Please note that this is a no smoking villa.

The price quoted is for the 3-bedroom main villa which sleeps 6. There is an annexe adjoining the garage which sleeps a further 2 people with en-suite facilities and is available for an additional £300.00 per week on top of the quoted rates - to book the annexe please contact the owner. The annexe is not rented separately to the villa.

Beautiful villa for a family vacation

Casa Casandra was a perfect base for our wedding anniversary holiday with three adult kids. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, gather by the pool, or hang out on the balcony for breakfast. It’s a little older, and therefore far more charming, than many of the other properties in Luz. The town center is a short walk away.

Excellently fitted out villa within walking distance of amenities and with bus stop nearby. Ideal for three generation family. Lovely pool and sea views.

Super place!

We ( family with 2 teens 16 and 18) stayed 1 week in the villa. What a fantastic house and what perfect views at the ocean!Very complete kitchen, pool attributies and living.We loved it and can everyone recommend the house.The cleaning lady every day of the week is however not necessary, because she is around for a couple of hours and so the is les privacy.But we loved the villa and recommend it to everyone!Restaurants at walking distance in Luz were also perfect.

What a lovely villa!

We had a fabulous time staying at the villa. It had everything you could want and the most stunning sea views and pool area. Communication with the owners and the management company were quick and easy and they were very acommodating. A real home from home. We are just gutted that it isnt available for our next set of dates!

Fantastic villa - will definitely stay there again!

Wow what a wonderful place to stay! This was our 13th villa holiday in the Algarve, and I think this one beat all the others. Fantastic location, easy walk into the town, breathtaking views, comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Just a couple of points that would make it even better: There were 7 of us staying, and the fridge/ freezer wasn’t really big enough for food and drinks for all of us, so we ended up shopping daily. The addition of, for example, a drinks fridge in the garage would be a massive help.

Stunning property and location

This property was absolutely amazing. The villa is absolutely beautiful and had every amenity that we could ever need. The neighbourhood was quiet and a walk away from town, although the walk back to the villa is uphill - thankfully Uber is fully operative in Luz! The views from the balcony were stunning. Communication from the owner was excellent and access instructions were given well in advance and not left until the last minute like some home owners. The maid was very attentive as well and visited 3 times during our stay. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Amazing Villa

The villa is amazing and the photos do not do it justice at all. We had a car but walking to the beach or into Luz town is only 15-20 mins. The area is lovely and quiet and we would stay again. Gerry as the owner communicated excellently and was very helpful with any questions before the start of the holiday. Our only very small negative would be that we had not been advised that the cleaner would attend 4 times a week which for us felt intrusive at 3hrs per visit, we did try to communicate to the management company that we did not want this but only seemed to cut it down slightly, other than than one of the best villas we have stayed at in the last 10 years.

Wundervoller Urlaub

Wir (7 Personen) haben herrliche 3 Wochen in Casa Casandra verbracht mit genügend Platz für uns alle. Alles war wie beschrieben vor Ort und im Haus und die Kommunikation verlief super. Es wurde auf alle unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Den tollen Pool haben wir täglich genutzt. Ein großer Vorteil ist die Möglichkeit, sich vom Baptista (Supermarkt in Luz) direkt vor die Tür beliefern lassen zu können, da wir einen autofreien Urlaub haben wollten. Die Gegend (Lagos, Burgau, Sagres) lässt sich auch bequem mit dem Taxi erkunden. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

Home from home but with fantastic views! Excellent facilities (although beach towels would be v helpful) including a daily maid service and even comfortable beds. Great pool and really beautiful gardens. Friendly local agent an added bonus.

One week was not enough to enjoy this gem !

We had a lovely time at Casa Casandra which exceeded our expectations. The house is very clean, well equipped and has an amazing view. It's not the most modern house, but herein lies the charm of the property. It's built in a more traditional and Portuguese style and is designed to keep out the heat - so we didn't have to use the air-conditioning. The cleaning lady was lovely, although communication was a bit difficult with our limited Portuguese skills. Lloyd Ltd, the property management company was also very helpful and nice. We could not find the safe key and they promptly made sure we got a new key. The only negative thing we have to say is that we regret not booking the house for more than one week!

Villa de rêve.

Nous avons été émerveillé par la villa, son emplacement et sa vue. La villa était bien équipé à tout point de vue. Nous étions 8 et chacun avait son espace. La piscine est superbe. Le plus est la femme de ménage qui venait chaque jour et qui est d'une très grande gentillesse et professionnalisme. Merci à Gerry et sa réactivité. Vacances de rêves, villa d'exception et station balnéaire de toute beauté.

Fantastic large villa

Casa Casandra is a fantastic place to enjoy your holiday, it has everything you need and more, the sea views are truly amazing and only a short walk to Luz town, I'm sure me and my family will return for another fantastic holiday.

Lovely villa. Well maintained and close enough to town for a nice stroll in the eveninng.

PROS: Plenty of room in the villa for the 5 of us and the pool area is well catered for with beds and chairs etc. Lovely spacious living area and kitchen which was well kitted out with everything you might ever need. CONS: Details said satellite tv but there were no British Channels unfortunately. Also said air con and washing machine. The air con remote controls were held by the maid but although the information book in the villa said there was a €50 per week charge for these the agent obtained them for free when we raised the issue. The washing machine was out in the garage which was fine but again the maid held the key for this. It was also left off at the villa when the issue was raised. Overall: Despite the couple of small issues above I cannot fault the villa for a really enjoyable holiday. May we'll go back again!
