Perfect for a relaxing vacation

We enjoyed everything about this ground-floor suite: the private pool, the view over the saltwater lake with flamingo’s, the fact that it is practically on a lovely sandy beach, the bird song and well equipped kitchen. Because of the wet spring there were a lot of mosquitoes, but all windows and doors were equipped with screens, so they didn’t form a problem. Contact with the owner and property manager was good.Sights around the island a short drive away. We would definitely recommend Gemma’s place!

Perfect and enjoyable vacation

Ideal location with nearby sand beach. Perfect water for children. A car is necessary to buy some food in a bigger super market. A mini market is directly across the villa and offers some basic food. Air conditioning works efficiently. Pool is very clean and is getting cleaned 2 times a week. The nearby restaurants ( Amiryki) offers delicious food to a fair price. 2 sun beds and 1 umbrella at the beach cost 8€ a day and include a perfect service for drinks and food.

A lovely property in a perfect location

The property was very clean and had good sized rooms. The kitchen and living areas were roomy and comfortable. The swimming pool was a good size and the balcony was large and cool in the heat of the day. The climate in Samos was perfect with cooling winds during the day. The swimming pool and balcony located at the front of the property had the sun from dawn to dusk. A lovely location a 'stone's throw' from the sandy beach and tavernas. The owners of the shop across from the villa were extremely friendly and helpful. We certainly felt that both the island of Samos and the villa were one of the best locations we have stayed in to date. We are in no doubt that we will return in the future.

Een hele fijne vakantievilla op een mooie plek

Het is een hele fijne vakantievilla op een prachtige plek en op prima rij-afstand van veel mooie plekken. Het strand op loopafstand is heerlijk evenals het zwembad. Wij hebben hier als gezin een heerlijke vakantie gehad!

Perfekt für den Familienurlaub

Toll gelegenes Ferienhaus mit sehr guter Ausstattung und einem schönen Pool. Der Sandstrand von Psilli Ammos ist wunderschön und nur ca. 2 Gehminuten entfernt. Dort gibt es auch mehrere gute Restaurants und Bars - besonders empfehlenswert fanden wir Almyriki. Der Kontakt zu Gemma, unserer Vermieterin, war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert und lief über Mail. Bei Bedarf wäre sie jederzeit telefonisch erreichbar gewesen und es hätte auch eine Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort gegeben. Allerdings war alles schon im Vorfeld perfekt organisiert und kommuniziert worden, so dass wir diese nicht benötigten. Psilli Ammos ist ein kleiner, ruhiger Ort, ideal für einen Familienurlaub. Es gibt einen Minimarkt mit kleinem Sortiment. Für größere Einkäufe gibt es mehrere Supermärkte in der Umgebung, die jedoch nicht zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Taxis sind etwas günstiger als in Deutschland, eine Taxifahrt vom Ferienhaus zum Flughafen kostet ca. 25€, nach Pythagorio, der nächsten größeren Stadt, ca. 15€ (ca. 15 Min. Fahrt). Es lohnt sich, ein Auto oder einen Motorroller z.B. an einer der zahlreichen Verleihstationen in Pythagorio zu mieten, um Einkäufe und Ausflüge zu machen und die vielen schöne Orte und Strände auf der Insel zu entdecken. - Beautifully located holiday home with very good facilities and a lovely pool. The sandy beach of Psilli Ammos is beautiful and only about 2 minutes walk away. There are also several good restaurants and bars there - we found Almyriki particularly recommendable. The contact with Gemma, our landlady, was very friendly and uncomplicated and went via email. If necessary, she could be reached by phone at any time and there was also a contact person on site. However, everything had been perfectly organised and communicated in advance, so we didn't need her. Psilli Ammos is a small, quiet place, ideal for a family holiday. There is a mini market with a small assortment. For larger purchases there are several supermarkets in the area, but they are not within walking distance. Taxis are slightly cheaper than in Germany, a taxi ride from the holiday home to the airport costs about 25€, to Pythagorio, the next bigger town, about 15€ (about 15 min drive). It is worth renting a car or a scooter, e.g. at one of the many rental stations in Pythagorio, to do your shopping and excursions and to discover the many beautiful places and beaches on the island.

La villa è situata in un stupenda posizione,ècompleta di ogni comfort necessario per una vacanza rilassante. Perfetta per 3 coppie. Wonderful villa with beautiful views.

The villa was perfect for a relaxing holiday. It was lovely and clean, and the pool is bigger than it looks from the photo's. The sandy beach is just a short stroll from the villa. The Island of Samos is one of the most beautiful of all the Greek Islands I have been to and the people are incredibly friendly. It was so easy to get to from the airport. We didn't have any problems at all as we just took cash with us and everything was open as usual. The owner Diane is lovely and so helpful with directions and tips on how to get the most out of your stay.

With a private pool, WiFi and metres from several tavernas, a mini-market and one of the most desirable sandy beaches on the island, you'll have all you need for the perfect holiday on your doorstep.

Just 20 minutes' drive from the airport. You can pick up your hire car at the airport (on request) or take a taxi to the villa for 20 euros.

A car isn't essential as everything is on your doorstep however we recommend hiring a vehicle to explore the island! There are also many breathtaking walks and mountain bike trails to discover.

The local beachfront tavernas, Frangou Vassiliki and Braxos, provide a wonderful variety of Greek cuisine. Enjoy an ouzo at sunset (and some freshly caught fish) at Cafe Psilli Ammos!

The local mini market provides the basics (milk, snacks, alcohol etc.) and there are several supermarkets, including Aldi, 10 mins' drive away.

The beautiful harbour of Pythagorio is just 10 mins' by car, providing a mix of buzzy nightlife, restaurants, boat trips, shopping and watersports.

Samos town is 20 mins' drive. Enjoy amazing restaurants, rooftop cocktail bars and the town square. You can leave your car safely in town to enjoy a few drinks and take a taxi back.

Kokkari is a beautiful town and a must-see for shopping and harbourside dining!
