Picturesque and perfect.

Both the location and property were perfect. Spacious rooms and living area, amazing bathrooms, and a pool the kids absolutely loved; and all of this just a short drive or walk from the local town. Can't speak highly enough of this property! Would most definitely use again.

Just heaven!

Gorgeous house and pool. really peaceful feeling in and around the property. Lots of birds singing. Lovely restaurant close by to have a wine or meal. The short drive to Rabac is spectacular.Labin town is full of little surprises with art galleries and bars. The views from here are amazing. easy to get around. Car is necessary as exploring the area is a must. I recommend you take a wine tour as it was one of our highlights of the trip.

Beautiful clean modern property in quiet rural location. Fab swimming pool, bbq and patio. House spacious clean lovely decor, all kitchen appliances one might need. Three bèdrooms, all lovely with lots of space. Found the host to be very helpful giving us loads of information about the house and local area. Beautiful bottle of local wine for us to enjoy on arrival. House manager there to give key and help where needed, highly recommend this property

Lap of luxury in Labin

This well equipped, homely feeling house was amazing. It was spotlessly clean, very spacious with lots of room for a family or a group. The kitchen had every utensil more than a celebrity chef,. The open planned living area that Incorporated the garden and pool view was so soothing. It could well be described as a romantic dream with the nightly lit swimming pool and the surrounding outdoor chorus it was so beautiful. TV , games and wifi add to the amount of extras this house has to offer. Within a 15 minute drive there is Labin town, with a restaurant, a cafe, pottery/ceramics shop and a further 5 minutes a lidl supermarket. There are three well reknown restaurants nearby although a booking is necessary in the high seasons. There are many types of places to visit and a few beaches a short drive away. I would highly recommend this house as a great base to see Croatia.

Wonderful secluded location not far from local beaches and amenities. Very spacious and clean villa with excellent facilities easily sleeping 9 that stayed. A beautiful home in a beautiful setting.

The house was a home away from home, beautiful house, very clean and well maintained, everything that you would have in your own home. The house was easy to find and the directions that Dee provided got us directly to the house. The local restaurants were really nice and the local wine was even nicer :) The area itself was beautiful and we really enjoyed exploring it via car, bike, walking and running, the beaches were stunning and we cant wait to go back to the same place next year. I would highly recommend this house and the area and I have nothing negative to say about my experience.

Quiet, lovely, large and nice House in the Hills of Rabac/Labin

We spent 14 days of July 2017 in this clean and fully equipped home and loves it. The pool was clean and large enough for four kids and the pool area large and with a lot of sun beds for us to relax in. The House has two air conditions - one at each level. It took us a couple og days to get the temperature right in each room. The House has every gadget you could ask for, in the kitchen and in the tv room. A lovely grill and barbecue area, sun and shadow equally found around the House for breakfast and dinner. The area is so quite that you can hear a dogs bark miles away. We loved to retire to this calm site after days by the sea and in the cities. Istria has so much to offer! Lovely food culture, and very nice restaurants nearby. We were met with so much kindness by the local, almost as if the tourism wasn't also a burden on the nature and the population. Dee has followed our trip all the way and she is a great and generous hostess and she lets you use her personal things, such as bikes, matresses and so forth. She has a local representative who helps out in case you need it. The neighbours at both sides are so friendly and nice. Thanks to Dee and the lovely Croats and the beatifull Istria. We would love to return. PS: be aware of the mosquitoes! Bring remedies.

Perfect!

Dee's place is lovely if you want to get away from it all. You need a car for sure though. It's up in the hills and is tucked away from the world really - just what we wanted. The house is lovely - lots of home comforts. Micaele who looks after the property couldn't do enough to help. Pool and garden area is great and the surrounding area is really wonderful. Perfect for a family break - we didn't even use the third bedroom! Dee the owner is also incredibly helpful with the documentation.

Myself and my girlfriend had the pleasure of renting this beautiful modern property. It is located in a beautiful and idyllic rural area in close proximity to the old town of Labin and the beaches of Rabac. We love this place so much that we have spent our holidays there for 2 successive years and fully intend to keep the trend going.

Beautiful place...

A really beautiful and welcoming place situated in a quiet and picturesque small village just outside town of Labin. House has everything we needed, amazing barbecue and pool area. Fantastic accommodation, great facilities. Rabac just a strol away wih beatuiful beaches and lost of choices of good places to eat. We would definitely be coming back to this place! Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

A beautiful break

This is a wonderful house with all the facilities you could need for a great holiday; your own pool and BBQ area, modern clean and elegant rooms inside. Croatia is a beautiful country and this is a great location. You will need a car but the town of Labin with restaurants and shops is then only 5 mins drive and the beach less than 10mins. The local food and wine are cheap and excellent and the people are incredibly friendly. We drove to a local farm and vineyard where we selected our wine, having of course tasted quite a few first. The owner of the property is extremely helpful and accommodating and I am looking forward to a return visit.

Hi My name is Dee and this home is my absolute dream. Somewhere in years to come, I can retire here and feel right at home. The people in this region are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and this quality is hard to find. There is so much to explore I never get bored. Yet I can sit by the pool listen to the birds sing and just admire the landscape and take in the peace and tranquility. I hope that someday If I have grand kids they will visit me here and fall in love with it as I have. Its such a beautiful place that I hate having to leave it each time I visit. You can only get that feeling by going there and experiencing it for yourself. I guarantee you will want to revisit and I will be happy to have you. My sister owns the house behind mine so bring friends and take the 2 houses and enjoy.

Having met several people from this region and seeing how friendly, honest and open they are I could see myself being at home here. When I saw this particular piece of land, with the mountains and vineyards and lush forestry, the air was fresh and healthy, I knew this was a very special place. It is just 3km to the beautiful beaches of Rabac on the Kvarner bay and 3km to the town of Labin an old mining town full of Venetian cobbled streets, cafe bars and art galleries, it was perfect. Fly Ryan air from the UK to Pula 30 min drive. or Rijeka 1 hour. From Ireland Aer Lingus fly direct Dublin to Pula drive to house. Rent for a month or more get discount. Pool & terraces have just been reconstructed and house newly painted. I hope it provides all the comforts of home and more.

The pool /sun loungers / terrace is situated in the garden of the property. The outdoor eating area has a table and benches, brick BBQ and is shaded by oak trees. gardens surround the house. The view of the tree covered mountains valleys and vineyards from the house and garden is beautiful. full set of dishes for outdoor dining. Kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons, coffee makers, pizza oven, microwave, baking essentials , fridge freezer, dishwasher, hob and oven.
The house is airy due to the high ceilings and large spacious rooms , but there is air conditioners on both floors should you need them.
There is a jacuzzi bath in the main bathroom with a hydro shower pod in the 2nd bathroom.
Large smart TV in living room with 2 large sofas to relax on. Free WIFI
Babies cot and high chair available. no extra cost for these.
Driveway parking for 2 cars.
Go 1 km and the drive to the beach is spectacular. The gastronomy in the area suits everyone's tastes and budgets with the seafood being a specialty. Have pizza delivered on those lazy days or take a short stroll to the nearest family run restaurant about 5 mins walk
Tours/car hire/ excursions can be booked through the local tour companies in the port of Rabac. Wine tours are popular in Istria a short drive away. from the house. A car is necessary here though it is only 2.5km from the town or beach the area is hilly and on country roads so no footpaths/sidewalks. . The Lidl supermarket opens till 11pm during the summer which is the closest one to the house.
There is a variety of sports to take part in such as tennis, horse riding, the scuba diving is pretty special! The Istrian Peninsula is quite small so each town is a short drive at most to go explore the region..
