Fantastic stay yet again!

Villa bigger than expected, spent most of our time in the fab pool, quiet location, so peaceful to sit on the roof terrace in the evening, easy road links for days out (hire car would be needed), overall a lovely family getaway

Thank you Kathryn and Mary for hosting us for 14 nights, The villa itself is extremely well presented, clean and comfortable, with a large pool and lovely sun terras, Set between the Sea and Mountains, in a quite location,I really dont have the vocabulary to do the villa and setting justice, Probably the most relaxing holiday i have ever experienced, As others have mentioned a car is essential, lots of places of interest to visit, I couldn't recommended this more highly, Thank you again Kathryn and Mary Brian and Kathryn Patullo

Amazing

We had an amazing 2 weeks at this villa. Beautiful pool and very clean . Views are to die for sea on one side mountains on the other. Jackie and John such lovely people and very helpful . We hopefully be returning next year . 🌞

Brilliant time

This was our first time booking a villa and it was so easy communication was fantastic. The villa itself is lovely with gorgeous views and everything you want and need inside. We had a brilliant time relaxing in the pool, having BBQ's and exploring. The neighbours are lovely and very welcoming. The only thing if your looking to stay here is you need to hire a car, We asked Kathryn and Mary who quickly provided us with hire and transfer companies and we arranged it all before going.

The Villa was exactly what we wanted. Really quiet a perfect location to seriously chill out. Really well equipped and presented beautifully. A complete home from home in excellent condition.

You'll want for nothing here (except more time to stay!) The pool, the kitchen, the accommodation, the air-con, the pergola, the roof terrace, the wi-fi even the neighbours was excellent. A great location from which to explore the TRNC. The local butcher and supermarkets have everything you'll need for self-catering. There's a plethora of great places to eat within a very short distance. You'll need a car. We recommend this villa, wholeheartedly. Ronnie & Natalia.

Home from home

Returned on Monday, had a 10 night stay and wish we’d booked longer. We were contacted ahead of our trip and straight away made to feel welcome. We were treated at the property by John who was welcoming and explained how everything worked. We were looking for a home from home experience and certainly got it, the villa is located away from main centres and as advised in the booking text a car is certainly needed but not too far away to reach places. We stayed in some days and nights and went out others. The pool was great and my favourite place to relax was the terrace. Thank you to Katherine and Mary for sharing their home for us to enjoy.

Perfect relaxing place close to the sea

The house is equipped with everything you need and it is a beautiful place for just chilling out. There are nice views to sea and mountains from the roof terrace. The location in a small settlement is quiet (except for the muezzin), yet close to the main road with quick access to nearby touristic places, restaurants and grocery shops. John, who is looking after the house, has been very kind giving us some welcoming gifts (beer and wine). The only negative point we have to mention is that some items in the kitchen were not-so-clean. However, overall this place can be highly recommended.

Idyllic private getaway

We booked with short notice and I'm so happy Kathryn's villa was available! It was perfect for a mini getaway to the North of the Island for myself and my partner. We really wanted a relaxing break from work and the private pool and beautiful house really felt like a home for the few days we were there - I wish we could have stayed longer! Kathryn was happy to accommodate our late afternoon check in and we were greeted by a lovely woman (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name!) who was so helpful, showing us the property and recommending local restaurants and giving us directions to the shop. The villa really felt private and the top balcony was perfect for star gazing when it got dark in the evening. We'd love to come back next year and can't thank you enough for providing a gorgeous home away from home for the weekend!

September Break

This is the second time we have stayed at this Villa and weren’t disappointed. Very quiet location but access to a car essential. John and Jackie as lovely and as helpful as always and makes the difference to a very enjoyable stay. Also thanks to Kathryn the owner whose communications are always timely and helpful. Beautiful property

A lovely property with great amenities, fantastic swimming pool, roof terrace, verandas and garden, and a really beautiful villa. Spectacular views of the mountains on one side and the sea the other, a great location. The villa owner, Kathryn replied to my messages quickly and was very helpful and organised Airport transfer and car hire, a big thank you.

We are two sisters, Kathryn, a teacher based in London and Mary a consultant and author based in Cape Town. We lived in Cyprus as children when our father was posted to RAF Nicosia. We loved the idea of buying a property in an area close to the beaches where we used to play as children. Cyprus is a place full of many happy memories for us and it has been very special to build a house here together where we can meet and revisit childhood haunts. We meet up in Tatlisu once a year to recharge our batteries and soak up the beauty of Cyprus

We loved the setting between the mountains and the sea. It was important to us to be in a small development with just a few houses, close enough to town for all the facilities but far enough away to escape all the hustle and bustle. We like being able to walk to the beach or sit quietly by our pool with the choice between the two options being the biggest decision of the day!

Good sized private pool. Great to lounge around and cool off in when sunbathing, but long enough to do a few laps if you are feeling energetic. Shaded pergola by the pool and upstairs shaded roof terrace perfect for watching the sun set over the sea
Close to local shops for basic necessities and small restaurants so no need to travel if you want to relax away from town. Close enough to Kyrenia, Nicosia and Famagusta for shopping, restaurants and nightlife if you wish to enjoy these. If you want to explore unspoiled scenery take a walk into the mountains, along the coast or take a drive and see the spectacular views from Kantara Castle and visit the beautiful Karpaz Peninsula which is easily accessible by the new road through spectacular scenery.
