Villa Maria the perfect spot for unwinding

Lovely clean property that met all our needs. loved.loved loved the pool. Perfect spot for watching boats come and go in the bay. A good hearty walk to and from the beach but worth it for the refreshments at the Taverna. The house keeping service was great, very friendly and informative. We have a fantastic relaxing stay, the people of Corfu were just lovely. If you want a great quiet spot in this unspoilt part of Corfu I would thoroughly recommend Villa Maria.

Family holiday

The Villa was fabulous and the pool was beautiful. The views overlooking the sea were amazing and we all had a great time The hike back from the beach isn’t for the faint hearted but the beach is lovely We unfortunately had two evenings with out electricity and water but had someone to call. Otherwise is was a lovely holiday.

Amazing view

A really lovely house, with a great open plan living/dining/cooking area, and decent sized rooms and plenty of bathrooms. The pool area has a beautiful view and it's only a few minutes drive to the lovely beach of Kerasia and also to a very good local supermarket. The only thing we wish we'd known before we booked is that one of the twin bedrooms is only accessible from the outside of the house, via an external staircase, which isn't an ideal set up if you have children. Otherwise it was a brilliant house.

Très bon séjour dans une villa magnifique

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé, la communication avec la gestionnaire a été efficace. Flexibilité et disponibilité pour l’accueil. Entretien régulier de la maison et de la piscine pendant le séjour. Maison très agréable, avec cuisine ouverte sur le salon et accès direct à la terrasse, et bonne distribution des chambres pour un groupe, chaque chambre possède sa salle d’eau et toilettes. La vue de la piscine est fantastique. Les villas voisines sont assez espacées et non visibles, donnant un sentiment d’intimité. Les commerces dans le village sont seulement à 10mn à pied. Et ne passez pas à côté des brochettes de Yannis, qui sont succulentes. Nous recommandons fortement cette villa.

The views from the villa are wonderful, the villa itself is spacious and easily accommodated us, a family of 7. The driveway down to it is extremely steep as were many roads down to the fabulous beaches and tavernas. The children enjoyed the pool and had space around the villa to play ball and racket games. We used the bbq , which is a kettle bbq, not a built in one, on a few occasions and felt it was in need of replacing and there weren’t any utensils for it. The garden and outside areas looked quite uncared for and we had to cut a few branches back from around the pool as they were sharp. Although a few negative, we had a lovely holiday and would recommend Villa Maria.

Lovely villa.

We really enjoyed our time at Villa Maria. Lucy was really accommodating to all our needs. The Villa is large and clean with a modern kitchen, comfy seating, fabulous pool and air conditioning. We are new to Greek islands so for anyone who hasn’t been before- you put the loo paper in a bin and not the loo! And you can’t drink the tap water so we had to bring about 40 2L bottles to the villa over a week which is a lot of recycling! The local beach at Kerasia is beautiful and by far our favourite in the area. We hired a boat and tried lots. A bit of a walk there and back to Kerasia- especially back as it’s all up hill- but totally worth it. Bring inspect spray- we all got bitten a lot. No negatives- just that the pool wasn’t cleaned whilst we were there so it was very cloudy when we left.

Spectacular View

This roomy, reasonably priced villa has everything needed for a comfortable stay in a very nice section of Corfu that is lushly vegetated, with lightly trafficked roads for walking and a beach with a taverna just down the hill. But the pool, view and comfortable sitting areas were enough to keep us at the villa most of our visit.

Beautiful Villa

The property was as described. The views were to die for, the pool was clean. The lounge chairs on the pool deck all need to be replaced as they were worn and pulling away from the edges. We had almost everything we needed for our 16 day stay. There is a lovely grocery about 3 minutes from the villa by car, or a 10 minute walk. You can get anything you need, including ice and charcoal for the grill. We had to buy hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper as we quickly ran out and the cleaning service only came once a week. A few more hand towels in the kitchen would be appreciated. Bath towels and bed sheets only changed once a week. There was plenty of space for 4 of us to spread out, there is a really nice upper deck with nice loung area to play games, cards, read. The AC in the bedrooms was very nice and needed. A few more fans would be nice for the nights you don’t want to run AC. Also, some storage in the bathrooms would be an added improvement, especially for the showers as shampoo, soap, conditioner, razor all had to sit on shower floor. Lucy has a beautiful place and we loved our stay there. The suggestions above are not criticisms, just ideas on making things a little more convenient and comfortable.

Lovely villa, in great location

Lovely but practical villa, with superb views, also relatively easy to get to, unlike some villas with views. We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back.

Incredible villa in the best part of the island

We had a fantastic week at Villa Maria. The villa itself is very neat and spacious; the pool is wonderful and the views unparalleled. It's well appointed and had everything we needed. Villa Maria is near some fantastic beaches and tavernas. The closest beach (Kerassia) is 15 minutes walk down the hill. We travelled around the island and concluded that this Villa's area is by far the best - spectacular but not too crowded. Lucy was a pleasure to deal with and very accomodating. Would heartily recommend for family and groups.

a perfect holiday

This holiday was simply perfect. A wonderful family holiday which suited 3 generations (teens to retirement). The spacious and comfortable villa, the beautiful view and peaceful setting, the local tavernas, the pool and the sea enabled us to have a wonderful rest and make many happy memories. We enjoyed walking to the local shop for daily supplies and found the local people were very friendly. June (who cleans the villa) is absolutely delightful. Thank you so much. Nicola
