The renovated mill was magical. My husband, I and another couple stayed for 8 nights. Cecelia was a gracious and beautiful host! We couldn’t have imagined how perfect this location was. The town of Santanyi is filled with little shops and fantastic restaurants. Everything is within waking distance. We rented a vehicle and also rented bikes to make the most of our stay and explored much of the island. We were welcomed to the mill with a fridge stocked with wine, cheese, eggs and fruit. Coffee and vegetables too. Volkmar and Tekin were also there to help with any questions we had and were a wealth of information. The hospitality we received was unbelievable and heartwarming. The mill itself was so cool!! We spent evenings outside on the beautiful bougainvillea cover patio, playing cards, drinking wine and eating tapas. The immaculate small pool was a great place to cool off from the hot, sunny days. Anyone with a sense of adventure and love of historic unique buildings will fall in love with this place. We all want to go back!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in dieser schnuckeligen, toll renovierten alten Mühle! Sie ist noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos bei FeWo. Schon vor der Ankunft haben wir von Volkmar viele tolle Infos erhalten und wir haben einen gut gefüllten Kühlschrank vorgefunden. Herzlichen Dank, so startet der Urlaub gleich super! Danke auch, dass wir bei der Ankunft gleich morgens die Mühle beziehen und am Abreisetag lange bleiben durften! Volkmar hat sofort reagiert, wenn es mal eine Frage von uns gab. Auch die Lage ist toll: am Rand von Santanyi, aber trotzdem ist alles in dem Städtchen gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Herzlichen Dank für einen wunderschönen Urlaub, liebe Cecilia und lieber Volkmar! Cozy house in Santanyi

Heartly welcome, so vacation started with the very first minute. We found everything we needed (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room). The fridge and the cupboard in the kitchen even filled, when we arrived!The perfect little pool is even larger than we expected and the shady place in front of the entrance door is the best of all.Thank you Cecilia, Volkmar, Tekin and Rodrigo!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, zentral und (fast immer) ruhig gelegen

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der alten Mühle sehr genossen. Selten haben wir in einer Ferienunterkunft erlebt, dass der Kühlschrank bei unserer Ankunft mit allen notwendigen Lebensmitteln und mehr (u.a. Bier) gefüllt war und ein 30 Liter Trinkwasserbehälter für uns gratis zur Verfügung stand. Dafür möchten wir uns ganz herzlich bei Cecilia und vor allen Dingen bei Volkmar, der "Guten Seele des Hauses" bedanken. Neben guten Betten und der liebevollen Einrichtung des gesamten Wohn-und Schlafbereichs haben wir auch die gute Ausstattung der Küche (u.a. 5 flammiger Gasherd) sehr genossen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und geborgen in Cecilias alter Mühle gefühlt und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Fabulous

We had a lovely stay at the Mill, 4 adults and two young children. The VRBO photos don’t do this place justice. It was quaint and well appointed in equal measure. The weather was very hot (30-45 degrees C) every day so the pool and air conditioners provided welcome relief from the afternoon heat. The upstairs room is self contained with its own ensuite. Nice bakery nearby, and loads of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Celia (the owner) was a gracious host, and her helper was on hand to support us with advice, pool cleaning and tips on the property. We’ll definitely go back.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit vielen liebevollen Details und einer charmanten Einrichtung. Willkommensgruß inklusive. Man kann dort einen entspannten und sorgenfreien Urlaub verbringen. Characterful Mill in a wonderful location

The mill is absolutely beautiful. It is perfectly located to walk to lots of restaurants and shops but the area is not too touristy. It is very private and Cecilia and her lovely caretaker are nearby if you need anything. There were lots of lovely personal touches which you sometimes do not find in rentals. The photos do not do it justice. It is rustic but very charming with beautiful flowers growing all around. The only thing I would say that is not obvious on the listing is that there are 2 en-suite rooms and another bathroom. The master bedroom with en-suite is upstairs and accessed separately from the house through the private courtyard. Lots of on street parking and supermarkets nearby, as well as lovely beaches. Cecilia is a wonderful host and we felt very at home. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay in a romantic, historic mill

You had us at the beautiful entrance with the bougainvillea everywhere! But on top of that the exquisite and most unique property. The smallest touches to make us feel at home. Stocked fridge and fruits, vegetables. Just thought of everything. The welcome we received from Volkmar was so warm and welcoming and we were honored to meet Miss Cecilia the owner (special shout out to her son Rodrigo). This charming 600 year old property just left us in total awe and the functional design was amazing. It was in a great location and easily walkable and good parking so that you don’t miss the market on Weds or Sat. What can we say? We didn’t want to leave. Just excellent communication, warmth and caring from our hosts!

Hochzeitsreise auf Mallorca

Wir hatten die alte Mühle von der wunderbaren Cecilia als unsere Hochzeitsreise gebucht. Und was sollen wir sagen: Es war die alsolut richtige Entscheidung! Die Ferienwohnung ist mit so viel Liebe hergerichtet und hat alles was man für den Urlaub brauchen sollte , vorrätig. Ob der Sonnenschirm oder Kühlbox für den Strand , extra Decken, Mückennetze ... Alles da. Als wir ankamen hat uns Celina herzlich empfangen und uns eine Hausführung gegeben. Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt und alles perfekt vorbereitet. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen in der Mühle und Volkmar der auch deutsch spricht war immer da wenn wir fragen hätten . Absolut empfehlenswert und ein wunderschöner Ort um einfach Mal die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Es war ein wunderschöner, entspannter Urlaub in einer traumhaften Unterkunft. Ein herzlicher, unkomplizierter Empfang, eine tolle Ausstattung, liebevolle Einrichtung mit Blick für das Detail. Netter, hilfsbereiter Kontakt, sehr liebe Gastgeberin, die uns einen schönen Urlaub ermöglicht hat. Es gab viele Geschenke: Einen Willkommensgruß, ein gefüllter Kühlschrank, Obst und Getränke. Duschzeug, Strandutensilien, weiche Handtücher…. Einfach Sehr zuvorkommend und liebevoll! Vielen Dank!!! Sehr empfehlenswert!!!!

Besser gehts nicht!

Die Mühle und Ihre Besitzerin Cäcilia, sowie Volkmar, der ihr zur Hand geht sind einfach klasse. Alles war genau wie im Inserat beschrieben und noch besser! Die Lage der Mühle ist am Ortsrand von Santanyi, wo es absolut ruhig ist, dennoch ist man in 5 Min. zu Fuß im Ortskern, wo es herrliche Restaurants, Bars und Boutiquen gibt. Santanyi hat nichts mit den sonstigen Touri-Hochburgen gemein, sondern ist einfach ein wunderschöner Ort mit einem tollen Markt mittwochs und samstags. Die Mühle selbst ist wunderschön individuell und hat jeglichen Komfort wie Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Musikboxen, Klimaanlagen in jedem Schlafzimmer, zig gemütliche Ecken und einen schnuckeligen Pool mit urigem Außenbereich unter der tollen Pergola. Cäcilia ist eine wahnsinnig herzliche und liebenswerte Gastgeberin und Volkmar, unser Ansprechpartner für alles ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir können die Mühle uneingschränkt empfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Danke Cäcilia und Volkmar für diese tolle Zeit!

Fabulous home!

We had the most wonderful stay at the mill house. The tour by Cecelia on arrival was delightful. The fridge and pantry were very generously and considerately stocked. We were there during very hot weather and the pool and air conditioning in the house provided much needed relief and comfort. We stayed for a week and explored all the stunning local beaches. Restaurants in Santanyi were great and very close - a few minutes walk. We loved the market on Wednesdays and Saturdays but there was also a local supermarket a few minutes walk from the house. Highly recommend this place if you’re after somewhere full of character and history with wonderful hosts.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful 600 year old mill. Cecilia the owner was such a lovely charming lady, she made us feel so welcome. We arrived to a very well stocked fridge, fruit and vegetable basket and cupboards filled with food essentials, thank you so much for this!! The house is perfectly located and less than ten minutes walk to the town’s restaurants and bars, there are also a few great restaurants right next to the house. We spent most of our days visiting the beaches of Es Trenc, Cala Moro and Cala Santanyi all beautiful. The pool was perfect for a late afternoon cool down. Thank you so much for making our holiday so perfect, we can’t wait to come back!

Perfect location

The Mill is in a great location for great restaurants, shops and a supermarket all only a short stroll away. A very quiet location, quirky and very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The owners were very easy to contact and always on hand to answer any questions. Cecelia who lives next door (owner) is a lovely welcoming lady and greets you on arrival with a lovely smile. Essentials like milk, water, tea and coffee are at the Mill which is fabulous especially if your flight is late. A car is required to reach the beaches but they are not our thing so we hired a car to visit the surrounding areas. Good food in lots of the restaurants and a taxi rank in town. Very relaxing holiday. Thank you

The house is perfectly located and makes it a pleasure to leave the car behind and walk or cycle to the village square (only four blocks away) where you have excellent pastries, perfect breakfasts, good bars, art galleries, famous Saturday and Wednesday markets. The beaches are very near (the nearest 7 min by car), some are surrounded by pine trees or Mediterranean flora.
