Beautiful villa in a lovely setting, very spacious with everything we needed for a relaxing break. Sally, the manager was very helpful. She also left us a really generous welcome pack including wine, beer, butter, bread, eggs.etc, the communication with Mark and Amanda was friendly and prompt. The Villa is situated within walking distance to several bars and restaurants. The pool was a good size and the views of the mountains and the ocean were great. The villa was incredibly clean with a lovely outside space, we spent most of our time just relaxing by the pool, the gardens are really well kept. The air-conditioning was very efficient however we didn’t really need it in October as the temperature was perfect. We absolutely loved our stay in this villa. It felt like Home from Home. We really hope to book it again next year.

Lovely villa in a nice area. Good location for exploring Northern Cyprus. The village does have a few eateries/bars but not what we would choose to eat at more than once, although the Three Crowns was lovely food. Sally, the manager was excellent and always on hand if we needed her.Was not aware that the air con was only in the bedrooms so the living area was very hot (a fan was provided). Pool towels would be a nice touch and so would a mid holiday towel and bed change, especially if you are there for 2 weeks.

Amazing!

Absolutely amazing and highly recommended. The communication before my stay was brilliant, especially the villa information pack. The local property manager organised my transfers, which were superb, and she came on my first day to introduce herself and check all was well. She was contactable during my stay if needed. The villa was spotless and equipped with everything I needed and more. The garden and pool are beautiful, set between two other villas but still feeling private. The neighbours were very friendly, even giving me their number in case I needed anything as I was staying alone. The villa and local area felt very safe, and there's a well-stocked supermarket just over five minutes walk away. If you want to explore the wider area, a car would be useful - although I was told there's a dolmus that runs to several other locations that stops right outside the villa. Everything exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be returning. Thank you Mark, Amanda and Sally!

Perfection

Very accurately described everything spot on Perfect from start to finish Sally popped round to welcome us just after arrival and assure us if anything was needed she would be there (we didn’t need her as everything was so good but very reassuring from a lovely lady) We cannot fault the villa and would definitely love to return again the next time we visit TRNC

Really lovely find.

It’s a really lovely villa, comfy beds, nice furnishings. Good WiFi, lovely pool, we used it most days. Have lovely neighbours too. There’s a dog called scruff that likes to visit. Everything was great I’d just say could do with some pool towels and to save money and time, an air fryer would be great in the kitchen. But we will defo be back. I would highly recommend. 😊

Perfect getaway

My partner and I stayed for 9 nights and we couldn't fault it. Its spacious, clean, relaxing and has everything you need. A home from home feeling. From the check in process to the checkout, everything was seamless. Sally the property manager was on hand for any questions we had and arranged our transfers and hire car with no issues whatsoever. It was just perfect for what we needed and would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend this beautiful home. Thank you so much for having us. Lindsay & Dave

Perfect Villa Holiday

The hosts Mark and Amanda were very helpful from our initial enquiry and to the start of our visit. The property manager Sally was excellent and assisted with our flight delay issues in a very helpful and reassuring way and was available to help during our stay when needed. She also arranged reasonably priced hire car for our entire stay. The villa is fantastic and was very clean and well maintained throughout. A full size and well equipped kitchen and very nice living / dining space. The bedrooms are spacious, light and airey and able to maintain a comfortable night time temperature with fan or air con. The pool area and outside space was fantastic and lived up to our expectations from the villa images. We spent most of our stay outside enjoying this very special area. Car hire recommend to get around the area especially for shopping etc. We would definitely recommend a stay at this villa as we had a fantastic 2 week holiday here.

Everything we needed & more!

We visited this lovely villa during the heat wave in July ..thank goodness for the pool and surrounding gardens! Good size and regularly maintained! Mark’s communication was great and Sally the villa manager was very helpful and informative. The villa itself catered for our every need. Beds were comfortable which is important. It took us a few days to find our feet but we managed to get out and about despite the heat. As stated previously amenities and restaurants were close at hand plenty if bureau de changes’ ( definitely recommend changing you pound here get a much better rate) Do your research before you go to really maximize you experience. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Excellent Villa

A lovely stay in an absolutely perfect villa. The property has had everything we have needed and was immaculate on our arrival and obviously well looked after and maintained. The garden and pool were an absolute delight, and such a pleasant place to spend time. We could not have asked for anything better.

Great and comfortable Home

We stayed one week around Easter in the house with a family of four. Everything was well organised and very comfortable. Even the transfer to the airport and car rental can be organised.It started with a very friendly booking conversation followed by a paper describing everything and the surroundings which was very helpful. The house is comfortable and has everything you need for vacation. The garden is wonderful and silent, the pool was refreshing. The surroundings with a supermarket and restaurants in walking distance are unbeatable. If we return to Cyprus we will certainly come back.

Lovely Villa

We travelled as a family of four to this lovely villa in August. Excellent communication from Mark and Amanda through out the whole booking experience. It was also lovely to meet Sally the property management who was very helpful in telling us about places to visit in the local area eat ... and organising taxis for us . We didn’t use a car during our stay and found that it wasn’t completely necessary as everything was on hand ... the location was excellent. Perfect location for getting into Kyrenia town centre about 5 mins and you could catch the dolmas at the bottom of the road. Also the Bellapais mountains and Acapulco resorts ( great for kids and around 160 TL for 4) were conveniently on hand. There is a great supermarket less than 7 minutes walk away. The villa was very well equipped and the outdoor pool area was beautifully presented. We would definitely not hesitate in booking this villa again, but probably the only thing missing for us was the lack of air conditioning in the lounge area.... we did eventually feel from benefits from using the fan after a few days. Thank you Mark and Amanda for a great stay.

Welcoming home .very spacious and equipped with everything you could need ! Could easily not hire a car as close to bars and just a few minutes walk from coast road with the buses . Close to Kryenia . Where we went on a boat trip Sabrina perfect ! Only had to contact property manager the once for a very minor issue and was dealt with quickly This was our 3rd visit and this was by far the best villa we stayed in .

Fabulous Villa. Great pool and perfect location for exploring North Cyprus.

Great spacious property kitted out with everything you need for a self catering holiday. We didn't want for anything. The villa is in a nice quiet location, just a short drive from the centre of Kyrenia and there's a good supermarket within walking distance. The pool is lovely and was most welcome during the intense midday Cyprus heat - as was the air con. The wifi at the villa was very quick and worked better than cottages we've stayed at in the UK! We were made to feel very welcome and the owners, Mark and Amanda, were very helpful with assisting with any queries both before and during the stay. The local property manager Sally was also really helpful, especially when she sorted out an emergency doctors appointment for our 2 year old with an ear infection. Would highly recommend.

Lovely villa, garden and pool

This was our second visit to this lovely villa in two years. When we arrived the place was spotlessly clean and we were greeted by the property manager on the afternoon of our arrival. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast and reading in the shade of the old olive tree beside the pool and watching the birds, butterflies, etc. We like the setting of this villa as it is in a quiet location off the road and although it has neighbours, there is no noise. The village of Ozankoy is a few minutes walk away where we enjoy dining at local restaurants-particularly Erol's and Happy Garden. Within a few minutes drive is a large supermarket that supplies everything you would need and there are many other restaurants within a few minutes too. Kyrenia, Bellapais and Turtle Beach are also not far away. This villa has everything you need including aircon, blackout blinds and a TV with UK channels( which was great as the World Cup and Wimbledon were on at the time!). The pool was well-serviced while we were there and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the shade-there are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas provided. There was a welcome pack in the fridge : bread, butter, eggs, cheese, marmalade and juice. The property manager, Sally, lives just over the road so is handy if there are any issues-though we did not need to call on her....especially as we bumped into her a couple of times during our stay, though she did come to see us on our last evening to say goodbye. The only area for improvement for us would be the provision of a hotel-type safe rather than the 'lock box'.

Lovely villa with an excellent pool and garden

We enjoyed our 2 weeks at this villa with it's lovely pool and garden. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast in the shade of an ancient olive tree which can be seen on some of the villa's photos. When we arrived there was a welcome pack which included milk, bread, juice, etc-enough for the first morning's breakfast. There is a local supermarket just a 2-minute drive away while the village shop is around a 10 minute walk. The villa is equipped with everything you need and more and what was really good is that the bedrooms have blackout blinds as well as air-conditioning. The pool is serviced twice a week which kept it perfectly clean-in fact it was hard to drag ourselves away in the heat of summer! We enjoyed watching the butterflies and birds in the garden as well as the mountain views. The property manager visited at the end of the first week to check if all was OK and to change towels and bed linen. The villa is located just a short walk from the village with several restaurants located there of which some are Cypriot, while others serve International and/or Indian cuisine. We highly recommend this villa and would stay again.

Bloody brilliant

The villa was better than described and the location was stunning. On arrival there was tea and coffee making facilities and a welcome pack which was appreciated after an easy and cheap transfer, also arranged by the owners. The villa was clean and well presented. Beach towels were in abundance as was the "House linen". The house and linen was changed/cleaned mid stay giving that extra little touch. Having lived on the island before, I believe that even for first time travellers, this property is in a perfect position to cater for all. Definitely on the list for a return trip next year.

Little Gem

We stayed at Balmill Villa from 17th May 2015 to 24th May 2015. There were two couples in our party. Villa was very spacious and the owner had thought of everything to make our stay stress free and relaxing. The private pool area and gardens were very clean and well looked after. All amenities close by including supermarkets and restaurants. Rafters restaurant is well worth a visit which is approx ten minute stroll from the villa. Would definitely recommend staying at the Balmill due to its cleanliness and favourable location. Thanks Amanda for making our holiday a memorable one.

Hi,
We fell in love with the plot as soon as we saw it and worked with the builder to tweak his design to get exactly what we wanted - A relaxing family home from home.

We love that we can instantly unwind, relax in the garden or pool, or watch the world go by on one of the balconies.

Our whole family love the villa, our three children especially. Our parents love it so much they now split their time between North Cyprus and the UK.

Ozankoy is a fantastic place, and we have built up many friends and absolutely love wandering around the local area/bars and restaurants.
Balmill Villa is not a business; it is our home from home and we only rent it to cover our costs.

The feedback we get supports this. It is relaxed, and you spend your holiday as you wish.

Ozankoy is a favoured location. It is central yet quiet. The village also retains a traditional feel, always making you feel welcome.

The location of the Villa is great, it is so central and easy to use as a base.
Balmill Villa is 5 mins walk from Ozankoy village centre and 8 mins drive from Kyrenia.

Our villa is only one of three, so not in a complex and benefit's from it's own pool and air conditioning.

Bedrooms have balck out blinds (we found it helps our small children sleep)

The garden is superb and just what is needed while on holiday (loving maintained by our parents throughout the year!)

It is also 5 mins walk from a fantastic local restaurant and 5 mins drive to the nearerst beach.
